Professional Statement:

I am a psychotherapist (LCSW) with more than 30 years experience of working with adults and couples to help them gain insight, develop coping and communication skills and maximize their ability to cope with life's challenges and difficulties. My style is interactive as I seek to engage my clients in creating an environment that feels comfortable. I seek to adapt my approach to the needs and style of each individual client, incorporating specific techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Hypnotherapy and Meditation when appropriate. With couples, I incorporate learnings from Emotionally Focussed Therapy to help foster effective communications that result in a closer, "safer" relationship.
