I am a psychotherapist with extensive training across many modes of the study of human experience and the change process, from cognitive work to a
psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic approach to more alternative kinds of work: intuitive, expressive, meditation, imagery, dreamwork, and other forms of working with energy and emotions.
In addition to working with occurrences of anxiety, depression, relationship and family problems, loss, or trauma, my background in the arts and in running a successful business, combined with my years as a therapist, provides a basis for addressing creative or business issues and career counseling, any of which we may address together in the therapy work.
Recent studies have taken me to consider the newer ideas in neurobiology; current exciting findings in the field of relationship, especially those in early mother/child interactions; and positive psychology theory.
