Marissa Chapnick is a New York and Georgia state licensed Physical Therapist who graduated with honors from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Immediately upon graduating, she began extensive one-on-one training with several highly skilled manual therapists in order to refine and enhance her techniques. Marissa’s certifications include “Lumbo-Pelvic Integration” by IMTS as well as Mat and Reformer Pilates through Pilates on Fifth. Catering to a pre- and post-natal population, Marissa is also a Certified Perineal Fitness Instructor (through Healthy Moms). She also has extensive experience working with an athletic pediatric population. Marissa is currently certifying in Active Release Technique™. Her passions include dance, gymnastics, and various forms of body movement. She often draws on her own experience in these fields allowing her to think “out of the box” in her treatment programs, ensuring the best possible treatment plans and results for her patients. Marissa focuses on her motivation to gain more knowledge each day by completing courses in continuing education on a regular basis in addition to keeping up with new innovations in her field. Her love for her work is quite evident, enabling her to form strong professional and personal bonds with her patients.
