Dr. Teplitsky has started his medical education in the former USSR and continued it in the United States. He graduated with honors from St. Georges University School of Medicine in 1981. He completed a residency program in Internal Medicine in the Downstate Medical School affiliated program. He has been in private practice in New York City for over 20 years.
Dr. Teplitsky is the author of several health books. He was the host of a popular radio show entitled "The Joy of Health" on WEVD for many years. He has appeared on many radio and television shows talking about natural health programs.
