How to manage my fitness?
I dont know anyone, please advise me.
First of all, congratulation for wanting to make sure that you are staying in shape! Maintaining an active life style and a healthy weight are two of the most important ways to prevent chronic medical problems, like heart disease and diabetes, later in life. This is definitely an issue that your primary care doctor can help with, so I would suggest setting up a visit with them at your convenience. Scheduling an annual physical examination might be the best way, as this is the type of preventative health topics that tend to be covered in the annual physical. The first thing your doctor will do for you is assess where you are in terms of your weight and exercise needs, to determine if you are at a healthy weight or if you need to lose some weight. Also, they will be able to make sure that you do not have any medical condition that might restrict the kinds of things you are able to do in terms of exercise. Based on this visit, your doctor can make recommendations about a diet and exercise plan, as needed. Many times, they can refer you to a specific local fitness plan or nutritionist for additional help.
