Please speak with a doctor. While there are many things that can cause a headache, and there are many people who suffer from headaches on a regular basis, it is important to speak with a doctor if you have headaches that are different from your normal headaches or have additional symptoms. In your case, the fact that it has persisted for so long suggests that this may be more than a typical headache, and may require further intervention to determine both the cause and the appropriate treatment for your problem. Migraines are very common, and are often associated with nausea or vomiting, an inability to function in any meaningful way, and sensitivity to light. In cases where all three of those are present, there is a high likelihood of a migraine. Unfortunately, however, there are things that are much more serious than a migraine that can also cause those symptoms, and so they should not be dismissed. Especially given the amount of time that your symptoms have persisted, it would appear to be prudent to speak with a doctor about this problem. Again, please speak with your doctor about this problem.
