I am getting morning headaches everyday, is this serious?
Is this serious ?
That is an excellent question and one that is best answered by your primary care doctor, or other medical provider such as a neurologist. In general, there are several causes for daily morning headaches and it is impossible to know from the limited history provided what could be the specific cause in your case, but here are some general causes for headache that may be helpful for you. Regardless, this could be a serious condition and so it is important that you are evaluated by a doctor in an urgent manner to rule out some of the more concerning possible causes of this. In general, this could be something less serious and easier to treat such as dehydration, medication withdrawal, hang overs from alcohol, or depression, or it could be something very serious such as a mass lesion in the brain. Since there is not enough information in your history you provided, it would be prudent to be evaluated by a doctor as he or she can decide how concerning your symptoms are and whether further tests such as imaging studies or blood tests are required to elucidate the cause of these symptoms and then offer treatment options which are available.
