Can stress cause a rash behind ears?
Its bumped up no itchy and no white heads
Thanks for your question and I recommend that you speak with your doctor. While stress can cause a number of different problems, this is an interesting one. In general, I would be slow to blame stress alone for a rash that is isolated to just one body part. If the rash involves both of your ears, I would instead wonder if you have changed shampoos or other hair products, have been using sunglasses recently, or did something else to traumatize or affect the skin in that region. While stress could certainly be contributing, it is never a good idea to only blame stress for the symptoms that you are having, as doing so could cause you to overlook something that is more serious. Additionally, it could cause you to overlook something that you could otherwise easily treat! In your case, if you are unable to identify an obvious change or cause to your problem, then speaking with a doctor is a good choice. An ear nose and throat surgeon is especially adept at answering questions of the head and neck, and a dermatologist would also be a good choice, as your problem does seem to involve the skin. Please speak with your doctor about your question.
