Answer

There are many things that can cause the symptoms you're describing and can best be sorted out by seeing your doctor. If you have pain after eating on the right side of your stomach this could indicate a problem with your gall bladder. Gallstones can block the flow of bile and cause a pain in the right side of the stomach, especially after eating a fatty meal. If you are noticing light colored stools, specifically greyish stools, that could indicate a blockage in flow of bile that could be quite serious. Another sign of a blockage of bile flow could be if you notice yellowing of your eyes, tongue or skin color. This kind of condition can be serious and you should definitely try to see your doctor soon; if you develop fevers, shaking chills, nausea and vomiting, or otherwise feel unwell, you should go to the emergency room right away as this could be serious. Other causes of pain after eating include a stomach ulcer or gastric reflux. You could have an intolerance to certain foods, including lactose or gluten which is causing your diarrhea, or you could simply have an irritable bowel (called irritable bowel syndrome). It is important that you go see your doctor to discuss these symptoms and whether any further testing or treatment is necessary.
