Dr. Ahmed had THE BEST bedside manner I have ever experienced. Right away, she entered the room with such a positive and vibrant personality, and she expressed a great desire to make me feel comfortable and ensure that I was very well taken care of. From her interaction with her office staff, I could tell that they had a great culture and that she specifically had great relationships with them. As a patient, it was very nice to experience how well they worked as a team. 6 stars for Dr. Ahmed!
I thought Ahmed was very good. Kind and warm and helpful. One of her assitants, however, made a ridiculous error. She was polishing my teeth and all of the sudden I felt it hit my gums and it caused pain. I looked up and made a noise of intermediate discomfort and noticed that SHE WASN'T LOOKING AT MY FACE. I asked her to please look at my teeth while she operated on them and she didn't respond. I repeated the request and she didn't apologize or say anything. She was completely aware that she had messed up and thought it best not to say anything. I was pretty furious although I decided not to vocalize any complaints in the office. I really couldn't believe it, this is exactly how practices get sued all the time. Extreme negligence and incompetence. They should consider themselves lucky that I don't get too worked up over these things.
Dr Ahmed was fantastic and very sweet. She kept calling me 'darling' and it was really endearing. She won me over, and I'll be back.
I don't know specifically what it was, but I didn't feel comfortable here. Going to the dentist is a seriously anxiety ridden affair for me, and I felt like a number being shuttled around and pressure to get work done immediately. Was given a treatment plan that didn't seem right to me, ended up getting a second opinion and felt much more comfortable with a different doctor at a different practice.
