When I left the office of Archana Rejintala, I had a good cry. I was rightfully overwhelmed and unhappy. The assistant was extremely agitating! He held direct eye contact for too long (creepy) and made ridiculous dad jokes, and that's putting it kindly. I'm talking several jokes that went something like: "what did the hippopotamus say, do you know? huh? do ya? any guesses? c'mon?" It was miserable. ...Then he was about to perform X-rays without consulting my insurance policy... he was basically like, "Hey, we're going to do this." Poor bedside manner! Shortly after the X-rays, Doctor Rejintala approached and introduced herself. She was cordial and pleasant. I was so happy to see another person, as I'd hoped her presence would curb her assistant's odd behavior. She proceeded to do an inspection of my mouth. It all went downhill from there... She tells me I have "cracks" in my two front teeth, 3 cavities, I need a mouth guard, and the list goes on. At this point, I'm noticeably FREAKING OUT. Let me put this into context: I'm 23 years old, I had a cleaning about 7 months prior with no issues, I've had braces, and I brush and floss everyday. Three cavities and cracks in my teeth!!?? I'm seeking a second opinion. Get a second opinion. I have to leave it at that, because Zocdoc doesn't allow you to talk about the accuracy of treatment or diagnosis in your review.
All around very satisfactory Dentist Visit.
