*Please be advised our practice has a strict 24 hour cancellation fee* Dr. Awofolu received her Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland School Of Dentistry in Baltimore Maryland. She then completed her General Practice Residency training at the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Hospital in Pennsylvania. She completed the Maxi course offered by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is Invisalign certified. Dr. Awofolu is an active member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. To ensure her patients receive the highest quality of care possible, Dr. Awofolu continuously takes advanced courses in dentistry, especially in the areas of dental surgery, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr Awofolu’s personal philosophy is to give each patient personal, one-on-one attention to explain procedures, listen to long term goals and address concerns or questions. I waited hours for my oral surgery to start I had Teeth extracted and she was very very extremely rough to the point I felt like she was gonna break my jaw...her assistant was rude and very unprofessional

This was my first visit at Dr. Awofolu’s office. I went for a dental cleaning and to ask her some questions. Her office is very cozy, the staff is friendly and the doctor herself is amazing! I can tell she knows what she is doing, a true professional. She helped me come up with a treatment plan and gave me great suggestions. She seemed a little rushed when she saw me, but I didn’t mind it. I scheduled another appointment to get some fillings next week.
She was knowledgeable and was able to walk me through my plan of treatment and answer any questions or concerns I may have had. My procedure was able to be performed the same day so that I didn't have to take more time off work. Overall great experience.

According to what I remember when I had my appointment was, i got some xrays of my teeth ,by Dr.Awofolu. Also, She didn’t do a traditional cleaning of my teeth for that was the reason of my visit. She just rubbed some stuff on my teeth to get rid of surface stains. Then she explained to me about how I need to get root canals. End of visit??????? I noticed me not having insurance was a problem when I told them I was paying out of pocket.
I wasn’t able to comment about the most recent visit scheduled with Dr. Omoteniola Awofolu as my appointment was scheduled in house rather through Zocdoc. However, both experiences were not pleasant. The first visit scheduled, my visit did not result in any work completed. Mainly because she didn’t plan appropriately for what I wanted done. So, I scheduled a follow up. Second chances are okay, right? The follow-up visit didn’t happen either. After waiting for 45 minutes, she comes out to tell me that I was double booked and that I would have to wait an additional 30 minutes! A receptionist called twice to remind me of my procedure. There was no prior notice of this double booking. Being that I don’t like going to the dentist, I’m extremely busy, and I am a planned person, this was a waste of my morning. She may have rocked previous work for others but, I wouldn’t recommend this unprofessional establishment to any friend of mine. I’ll be looking for a more professional dentist that can respect time and her/his patients’ better.

I think Dr. Awofolu is wonderful and her staff were amazing. However, the wait time was rather long considering I had gotten there early for my appointment and I felt very rushed. She cleaned my teeth quickly but she was very rough. I scheduled a second appointment via Zocdoc and her office canceled it with no explanation and no phone call. I will not be returning but I do think she was really sweet and kind. I just don't want anyone working on my mouth to be in a rush.

The staff was amazing! From the front desk to the back. The nurse was my favorite. She held my hand the whole time and rubbed my arm to keep me calm. I have really bad anxiety and she talked to me the whole time and kept me calm when I wanted to run away. She cheered me on and was absoutely amazing. I highly recommend going here. The wait of it all i wasnt pleased. Their method of scheduling is completely off. My appt was cancelled twice on their behalf. One of the two times i took time off work. They over book appts and then call to inform it will be a wait. Never heard of it and i dont want to start. Unprofessional receptionist. The experience may have not been that bad if she had a pleasant demeanor. The dentist is really knowledgeable and friendly but I cant make an appt prepare for it and they cancel or overbook. From the business aspect of it they cant be considerate of my time I wont be a customer.
