“Dr. Merkel was knowledgeable and kind. He strikes me as the kind of dentist that just frankly tells you what you need/don't need. I've previously gone to a corporate dental "chain" and was told I had deep gum pockets and decay under my crowns. Dr. Merkel reviewed fresh x-rays and said I didn't need to address anything -- that everything looked AOK. Corporate dental offices are so focused on profits that they promote unnecessary procedures -- which was something new to me. I appreciate the honesty and NOT having to get a bunch of new crowns!”
