Excellent dentist and before proceeding with any treatment he provided me with all necessary information and answered all my questions. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you!!
Nice clean office , friendly staff, straight to the point doctor
Great Dentist, loved him! Very honest, and extremely helpful. Explains thoroughly.
My visit was a follow up. I needed a refill of pain meds and antibiotics for abscessed tooth pain. My insurance does not cover root canal, so all I can do is take Motrin every 6 hours for the pain of a chipped tooth/ missing filing. I am looking for ways to pay for the root canal. Otherwise, a this is a great dentist.
Came here for abscessed tooth pain. Everyone here was very warm and professional. This dental office is in North Park, nothing fancy. However, the care I received with Dr. Thai greatly exceeded my expectations. I have gone to few dentists in San Diego, with their huge lush offices and awards, only to be disappointed with the low quality of care. Dr. Thai went over my treatment plan, explained everything with me,and answered any and all questions. He made eye contact and had amazing bedside manner. It was refreshing I will be back. My kids will be moved here with Dr.Thai as well.
Everyone is very professional and courteous. Grade a in service, customer service and skills. Dr Thai is the best dentist I have had!
Absolutely perfect. Kept me informed. Courteous staff. Everyone seems to know what they are doing. His sense of humor helped make me feel more relaxed as I prepared for a long visit. No pain!!
Excellent. He prepared me well, talked me through my nervousness especially since I hate going to the dentist, and really did an excellent pain free job. Id recommend him and his staff in a heartbeat.
Not very informative on what needa to be done and pushy on what he wants to do and not what's best for patient and there wallet. Could have refers me out but seems more interested on making money.
Very informative and helped us find a specialist.
My most recent visit was fine, straight to the point and comfortable. In general, I find the Doctor and entire staff pleasant, friendly, approachable, and helpful. This is my favourite dental team/office thus far.
The X-Ray tech was great. The dentist walked away from me several times to have a conversation with others. Did not listen to me and tried to upsell me thousands of dollars worth of things I did not need. I feel he even lied to my face. He certainly was not paying attention to me and my needs. Also the office was open lay out so you had to get your work done where everyone could see you. No privacy at all.
Great dentist! I only stopped going because I moved out of state.
The visit was excellent although the timing was a bit long to see the Dr. However the Dr. was excellent and very friendly and knowledgeable.
Dr. Vu and staff are friendly and had one of the better dental experiences in their office. Very attentive.
I liked him he is cool I will be going back I already have my next appointment.
Very polite and professional
Lets just say I have to see an oral surgeon ASAP. Sure getting the needed referral was easy except the fact I am STILL waiting to hear anything as of October now.....extremely annoyed especially when the issue is as extremely urgent as such.
We have been going to mr. Thai for years. My whole family has always been well taken care of. The staff all knows us and so does he. He def takes the time to create an emotional connection with his patients and that's why we will always be clients of his.
The best Dentist I have ever seen.
Dr. Vu was great! I really liked how efficient and organized he was. Office staff was friendly as well and scheduled me with short notice.
Dr Thai is the kindest most compassionate dentist I have ever come across. He obviously loves what he does. Even with all the work I need to have done, he ALWAYS goes above and beyond what I personally have experienced with other dentists...he doesn't make me feel bad about my dental issues..
Felt like the cleaning wasn't very strong.. nice guy and staff just wasn't impressed by quality of cleaning
His explanations are always clear about what the procedure will be like before he begins. His estimation of the time my procedure would take was on the low side (about an hour, he said, but I was there for one hour and 45 minutes), but certainly it is more important to "do it right" than to do it quickly! His staff is polite and professional. I particularly appreciate that because of my oral surgery, there were no other patients scheduled during that time, so I had his undivided attention.
Awesome, Dr. Thai made me feel very comfortable and it was overall a great experience (which I can't believe I would ever say about going to the dentist).
Thank you. See you in 6 mo.
Not my best dental visit. was not the nicest looking office or private when they were talking with you. The dr & the receptionist were the least friendly. When they had to wait for my ins info they told me to go wait back in the lobby yet I called my ins & got rt through. Needless to say I'm not going back to this office EVER.
Went well would recommend to family and friends
Very good visit with no problems. The doctor and staff were very professional.
Best dentist I have ever had in 70 years. The staff also , very good and friendly, This visit was just like all the rest. No stress.
I went in for my free cleaning through my insurance company and before the cleaning I was given an extremely high estimate for a copay, very high!
He's very judgmental and rude, but he's the only dentist my plan covers that's anywhere nearby, and I have no complaints about the work that he does.
Everyone is great, lovely manner and that place makes you feel like your home. Love love love it!
I had a difficult time with this dentist at first, but we managed, and his bedside manner was better than last time, when it was not that great, to be honest. The Novocain was rough, but the whole appointment was done with rather quickly, considering what I was having done.
I've been going to Dr. Thai for a little over a year now, and his services are consistent, professional, and friendly. This visit was no different. It's not often that people say they like their dentist, but I'm one of those people. Highly recommend him!
The perfect dental experience!
The doctor was very informative. I was very pleased with my overall appointment.
Great!! Very personable service & very quick & painfree!!
I felt very secure and trusted his skills as a Dentist because of his background and training in the military. Dr. Vu was very professional and detailed when I asked to explain a couple of questions I had for him.
The initial visit was a longer wait only because of some insurance issues (not the Dr's fault). Dr. Thai is very friendly, has casual yet professional demeanor making the appointment comfortable, and he'll even break into song. The rest of the staff is super friendly too. Although the environment is a little vintage (old building), everything else was great. Highly recommended.
I went here after being assigned to him by my insurance. I will not be returning. The office is sketchy. Posters and pictures of before and after that are clearly photoshopped and/or from the 80s. The chairs are packed in with zero room and zero privacy. The doctor was rather rude to his hygienist. I made the mistake of saying I hadn't been to a dentist in a year. They said that my teeth were terrible and required deep cleaning not covered by my insurance. I have always taken excellent care of my teeth and usually get complimented on them. I said yes to the extra cleaning even though my guy instinct was to refuse. The doctor didn't even tell me the costs himself, he made his secretary do it. She told me this was a full 45 minute cleaning to help the doctor scrape the plaque easier. The reality was that he was lazy and this made it easier. The entire affair lasted less than 45 minutes so it's impossible that this was a 45 minute cleaning. My teeth and gums have been sore all day as a result. The co-pay was more than double what it should have been. Go somewhere else. If you don't believe me, check the yelp reviews. I wish I had.
Great honest dentist! Clean office with nice staff. I also like that it's a locally owned office and not a big chain. I will be returning.
Everyone was very professional and kind, and took a lot of time to explain procedures and options. The storefront leaves quite a bit to be desired, so I was a bit hesitant at first. But once I got over the ambiance it was a good visit.
Dr. Thai and all of his staff were extremely personable and made me feel very welcome. Dr. Thai was knowledgeable, proffessional and informative. In the past, I've had trouble finding a dentist that I was fond of...but I absolutely adore Dr. Thai and his staff. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! In my opinion, he's the best dentist in the practice!!!
