I HAD NOT BEEN TO A DENTIST IN YEARS DUE TO MY EMBARASSING DENTAL PHOBIA. DR. GONCALVES IMMEDIATELY PUT ME AT EASE AND WE WERE ABLE TO START A PLAN OF CARE TOGETHER, WITH NO PRESSURE AT ALL. I WAS TREATED WITH RESPECT BY ALL THE STAFF AND NO ONE WAS JUDGEMENTAL. MY EXPERIENCE WAS A GREAT ONE AND I AM HAPPY I CHOSE DR. GONCALVES!

Overall great experience. Secretaries were very patient with insurance information goof (100% my own fault). Hygienist was very friendly and gentle. They use a tool that, as they described, "vibrates" most of the plaque off your teeth before they get in there with the picks. My gums were usually sore with my old dentist, but not at all with this tool. Dr. Steckler explained everything she was looking at right in front of me and had great bedside manner. She was perceptive and picked up on a tooth I had that was built up from physical trauma (soccer accident as a kid) before I even realized I had smiled. Only negative is she pushed a night guard before asking if it's something I actually wanted. Which I don't, teeth be damned. She responds to "no" very well though and doesn't push. Highly recommended!
All Dr. Gaitsgory's team is very nice and prompt to help. I felt very comfortable, my problem was discussed and I had a very good explanation about the solution. I am very thankful to Dr. Gaitsgory and her assistant .
Positives: I had a chipped tooth that needed a quick repair. Checking in electronically was cool (as opposed to filling up so much paperwork at other dentist offices). The dentist (Dr. Ben) and his assistant were excellent. They fixed my tooth in less than 5 minutes. The facility was a lot nicer and more modern inside than it looked from the outside. Negatives: Though the dentist suggested that I should take a few days to decide which option (tooth removal / implant) I should go with, the person at the checkout was very aggresive in getting me to choose the implant option. She gave me a form to sign and said that it was to show that I was aware of my options. However, after signing the form, I realized that the form says that I "request and authorize" the office to perform the implant on me. The person desperately wanted me to select an appointment date for the implant which I declined saying that I needed a few more days to decide. Then, she was seemingly desperate to get me to take an appointment for teeth cleaning instead, which I declined as well.
