I scheduled an appt. on line with Dr.Lingam, but got a text/reminder of my appt. and it was with Kelsie. She was professional , listened to me and was great. However, the front desk does not flow well. My appt. was at 8:30, signed in at 8:13 “New patient” was not called for over 15 minutes so I went to the front desk.( there is a sign on the front counter that reads if you have waited 15 minutes let someone know) there is so many people scheduled at the same time that I had to wait to get someone’s attention. Then finally I was handed my paper work to fill out at least 4 pages. Therefore I did not get back to the room till 9:05. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long and the visit went fine. But I had to drop off paperwork at the front desk on the way out. Only 3 out of 4 receptions there, no designated check out area, left standing for 5-8 minutes. No one comments “I will be with you in a minute”, another patient comes out from the other side. She gets checked out before me. Finally I get checked out and then she asks if I want to sign up for patient portal, which I was going to do until she said it would take another 15 minutes. Why couldn’t this been given to me at check in? So I said no, I now have been in the office for an hour and 15 minutes. Very unorganized front desk, ? Too many patients scheduled at once, 2 of the receptionist appear to be burnt out, not very friendly!
