Was pleasant experience and she was very competent and thorough. would highly recommend
I've been seeing Dr. Montgomery for several years. I followed her from two previous practices. She is thorough and professional. She listens and takes my concerns seriously. She is also willing to discuss her reasons for making recommendations and is open to discussion of alternatives.
Everything was fine, except at reception. - The reception desk was pretty slow in the check-in process. Two receptionists were at the desk. Three of us were in line, and the one in front was checking in for over 10 minutes. The two of us behind her were just standing with our insurance cards waiting to just say "we're here!" so we could sit down. It was confusing. When I was finally checked in and was given my paperwork, there was no time left to look at it because the nurse was calling me. - I don't always feel this way, but I guess because another patient was standing right behind me, this time it was awkward verbally verifying my address, phone number, and email to the receptionist. Plus she didn't pick up on what I was saying a couple times, so I had to say them again even louder. I felt aggravated about having to do that. I would like to be able to verify my personal home address and other contact information on paper, or to the nurse when she checks my vitals, so that I don't have to publicize it to everyone in earshot.
Very direct and professional. Would highly recommend.
Wait time was minimal, very professional and easy to talk to.
I had a physical during this visit. Dr Montgomery was very thorough and did not make me feel rushed or unimportant. I left her office feeling that all my questions were answered, systems checked & necessary testing was ordered.
I was extremely pleased with Dr. Montgomery. I thought she was thorough & very tentative. She answered all my questions and referred me to a colleague for further treatment I was so impressed my Husband is now changing to her care Thank you to Dr. Montgomery & her wonderful staff.
Dr. Montgomery and her staff were very professional. I was seen promptly at my appointment time. My questions and concerns were all addressed!
This was my first visit to Dr. Montgomery and she apologized for not being at her best because she was not feeling well. Despite this, she was very thorough in doing my physical. My gentle suggestion to her is that it would be helpful in building rapport with a patient to explain just briefly what she is doing and why, and what she is noting. (I have never had anyone listen to my neck with a stethoscope before.) I am assuming that she did not ask me what I did for a living, if I had children, or had any "get to know you" conversation, because she was not feeling well. I hope that I just caught her on a bad day and that in other circumstances she would show more interest in getting to know a new patient. Our social, economic, nutrition and familial circumstances are intertwined so closely with our health that it seems important understand how these factors affect the complete well-being of a person and not to focus only on the physical.
It was perfect.
