Very gentle, thoughtful and puts you at easy. Straightforward and nice way about him.
The office staff was very polite and efficient. Dr. Kurien was genuine and patient.
Office staff went above and beyond to make sure I was being helped. I needed approval from my insurance before I could get my prescription filled and they called me as soon as it was approved to prevent me from having to wait until the insurance company notified my pharmacist. The doctor was really nice and accommodating. Short and sweet appointment!
My visit went well, the Dr. made me feel comfortable. He was professional and knowledable.
A very pleasant experience with an experienced doctor.
He and his staff were friendly, the office was clean, and there was less than a 5 min wait from my arrival and I was 15 mins early!
Very nice and caring man
He is very considerate and shows his understanding. I was very comfortable to talk to him.
Very professional. Clear and direct. Exactly what I needed!
Friendly and quick appointment
Great ! seeing him again in a month !
It would be more convenient if they accepted credit or debit cards to pay deductibles. Otherwise, I have no complaints at all. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful.
Dr. Kurien was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable talking to him. He was very easy to transfer to from another provider.
Dr. Kurien was very helpful, and responsive to my questions.
Dr Abby gets straight to the point, and listens to my concerns. Speaking as someone who has social anxiety issues, his approach is easy to handle and respond to. Have been receiving great care for over a year.
Dr ABBY IS awesome, he cares, he listens, extremely helpful.
Excellent Doctor! Had ample time to discuss all my concerns and he seemed thorough with his assessment. Feel much better after seeing him. Strongly recommend him!
Fantastic doctor, definitely going to be seeing him in the future.
Dr. Kurien was very relaxed and to the point. He listened but our appointment was not as long as I would've preferred.
I've been to this doctors office 4 times now and today will be my last. You would think a place that is supposed to help your mental health wouldn't let you leave feeling worse than when you walked in. The girl at the front desk asked me if I had my copay in cash which I never have a problem with before but today I didn't get a chance to visit the ATM prior to my appointment. I told her I would need to go to an ATM and withdraw the money and she told me to go outside and get it now. She didn't ask me she TOLD me. I'm not a child I'm an adult and a patient I should not have to feel like I'm being bossed around which I did. They basically make you feel like all they care about is the money not the patient. She asked me repeatedly if I was going to the ATM to get the money. I said I would once I was done finishing the paperwork. I don't have a balance on my account I always pay when I visit I don't understand why she felt the need to bully me into going to the ATM RIGHT NOW. Most doctors offices will mail the bill. As if that wasn't enough, Dr. Abby Kurien also was rude to me as well. I had the impression they had the documents I needed to return to work and was there to have them filled out. Turns out my employer only faxed over a single document. Dr. Kurien told me I needed to, "Get my stuff together and be more prepared." Another staff member treating me like a child not a patient. I don't understand how the office staff and the doctor think it's acceptable to treat their patients like this. They all suffer from a superiority complex. Never returning here again.
I was fine with Dr. Kurien being my psychiatrist. At first, he prescribed me anti-depressants, and they worked, except for the side effects, which included me throwing up bile from lack of eating & appetite. After a month, I came back in and told him the pills had been working, except for the whole not eating and throwing up bile thing. He told me I'd be okay because I could stand to lose some weight. Needless to say, I never went back there and ultimately abruptly stopped the pills, which was not good.
I'm very happy with Dr. Kurien. He was very attentive and took the time to discuss my questions and concerns. I will definitely be following up with him.
Perfect demeanor for a psychiatrist - attentive and objective, while maintaining an air of modesty. Non-judtemental and result driven, the doctor realized a medication plan and referred to me other therapists better suited for counseling.
Very nice doctor. He listens and is thorough. I'll definitely be returning.
A fairly quick appointment with a skilled Dr., who had lovely mannerisms, and much information. Wish , however , we could have spent more time, since it was my first visit
Very attentive & caring doctor excellent bedside manners. He is a doctor who takes his time to listen to his patients. .would definitely recommend.
Dr. Kurien is a very knowledgeable and compassionate psychiatrist. He treated me with enthusiasm, positivity, and a great sense of humor. He expressed outmost respect and kindness towards me. Whenever I've had any interaction with Dr. Kurien, I walked out with a big smile and feeling special.
Quickly seen and the visits for refills are quick. Front desk ladies' customer service could use some help but its nothing worse than anywhere else in the area.
Dr. Kurien is always very professional. The office staff is friendly and always takes great care of you!
He was very concerned and knowledgeable...he discussed new meds and what they were for, not like my previous doctor. I have a follow up appt. and plan to keep it!
It went well. The office staff should not be on the phone so much while working with you but they were very nice and even patient with difficult periodl people on the phone. The Dr. was attentive and I look forward to going back.
Very pleased with his opinions and views.
The office is very professional. No wait time. He was thorough, asked a lot of questions and I felt he really tried to get to know me and my symptoms. Left the office feeling hopeful.
He is a great physiatrist I highly recommended

He was very laid back, patient, a good listener and compassionately candid.
He was incredibly nice, very knowledgeable, listened to everything I had to say, and prescribed me medications I had never tried he felt would be great for me (and he was right!) !
Extremely polite and and intellectually sound!
