Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The doctor gave more info in 5 minutes than others in hours.
Dr khan is very professional, caring, smart and soft spoken doctor. He is very well qualified and experienced. He spent good amount of time listening to my problems and did not rush at all as compared to my past experiences with other doctors. He explained me what is the problem I am having and what are the best treatment options according to the latest research. He is very honest, straight forward and prefers conservative treatment options and doesn't push unnecessary tests or procedures. My experience from making the appointment till my encounter with the doctor was wonderful. I would highly recommend
I was very pleased with my visit. The front desk staff were prepared with my Zocdoc paperwork and I just had to sign a few forms. They were friendly and professional. The doctor was professional as well and personable. He treated me, made referrals, and seemed very knowledgeable. I will return if need be and will continue with his recommendations.
The doctor was very professional. He provided me with thorough evaluation and diagnostic recommendations for next steps.
Doctor was very patient, listened, provided detailed information, and answered all of my questions. I was able to leave with an active plan of care.
This is the third time I used ZocDoc to make an appointment to visit with Dr. Khan. I had a 12:30pm appointment. At 2:42pm I was told that the doctor would not be able to see me due to he only does procedures today. Very disrespectful to patients time. Doctor even came out and tried to say it was my fault for making the appointment with ZocDoc. I had clicked that I had seen this doctor before when I made the appointment online. I explained I should of at least been told at 12:30 when I came in. No apologies. Was told to be quiet by front desk.
Very professional and patient. Listened to my symptoms and found what was wrong with me while others missed it.
Overall he is a great doctor! BUT the wait time is ridiculous!
Caring, insightfull, ethical. So glad I was reffered to him. I would highly recommend Dr. Khan to anyone. His staff was also very helpfull.
The doctor at first sounded interested and then he started on a triade of how awful NYC was and he hated living in Brooklyn. I took offense to that. He gave me a shot in my shoulder telling me everything would be fine. The next day I couldn't move my arm, He just said to put ice on it. I tried to see him again but I couldn't get an appointment. As far as insurance, he took it, but when I tried to pay my copay with my flex card, the office said I had to pay in cash. The receipt was on a cheap receipt book with no doctor name or tax id or address. My insurance would not accept that for re imbursment. The office said that's the only kind of recepit they gave. The office girl I delt with was awful and arrogant. The other girls seemed to be okay. I will never go back.. my pain has only increased and now I need to find another doctor.. OH,, after my first visit before the shot I had to have an xray and was told to call back in two weeks for the prescription, becuase they only did authroizations on tuesdays. WTF I was in alot of pain.. Since I work in radiology, I took it upon myself to get the approval and xray done in one day and demanded to be seen the next day. The rude girl said there was no openings for two weeks.. I sat in the office and said I would wait for a cancellation. That's when I got the shot and no follow up. They didn't have time.
I was very disappointed with this Doctor, I thought that he was a Pain Management Doctor that helped people with long term care for their pain problems. I found out that he does not offer such services only short term help. He did write me a refill on one of my medications but would not write the script for the other one that I have been taking for a couple of years that is the only thing that helps me deal with the pain that I suffer with. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone who suffers from long term pain, plus his bedside manner is very short and curt.. Not a happy camper here... The other thing is he couldn't refer me to a long term care doctor..
He was a very nice doctor very pleasant will see him again
I have suffered with pain on my right side for several years and I have visited other pain management doctors but, this is the first time that I feel that I was properly diagnosed and I am hopeful that I under Dr. Khans care I will find the relief that I need.
Dr. Khan is truly the best pain management doctor that I have ever met & had the pleasure to be treated by. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable & professional, Dr. Khan exudes genuine compassion & kindness that I find to be sorely lacking among most medical professionals.
The one That Allah have sent. The staff is young and great. love them they will be my Doctor. The Doctor understand what pain is, in looking for healing as long as I do as I'm told.
I am so happy to have found Dr. Khan! I have been referred to several PM Dr's that could not help me. He was sympathetic of my condition and is going to help me manage the pain. He took the time to examine me, and reviewed my hospital records carefully, and he listened. I have been through the runaround and I think I have finally found the right PM Dr.
the weather was poor but the doctor was good and listened and gave me more info on my injury
Dr. Khan is an amazing doctor. When my brother was ill he came to see him at Methodist hospital multiple times a day to ensure his pain was being managed. He advocated for him and used an interdisciplinary approach to help treat my brother. He is a very kind and knowledgable Doctor. I highly recommend him!
This place is NOT set up for zocdoc! I gave the Doctor high ratings but his staff (the 2 heavy-set ladies in the front) are extremely unprofessional. It's clear they're unorganized. If I didn't already do my blood work there I would never return to this place even though Dr. Khan was nice.
Very helpful ....I would recomend this Doctor !!!
I thought they needed to have a credit card machine. It's ridiculous that they only take cash or check and I would definitely have not used these services had I known this information before. My wife and me use a joint flexible spending account card for co-pays and it was extremely frustrating that I had to go to an ATM after checking-in.
Excellent doctor, very professional and thorough. The office staff is also very friendly and helpful! I am glad to have found such a competent doctor! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor.
Once I saw the doctor the appointment went well and he was very professional. However, I filled out all necessary paperwork on Zoc Doc so that I wouldn't have to spend more time checking in at the office. That didn't matter, as I still ended up filling out the same paperwork. Also, I originally made the appointment for 4:15pm and confirmed that time with the office only for the office to call me back and tell me the doctor wouldn't be available for 4:15pm, and asked to move the appointment to 11am. I felt pressured into taking this appointment. I arrived at the appointment five minutes early, filled out the paperwork, and a half hour later I was notified that the doctor wasn't in the office yet. He was still 10 minutes away.
Great pain management just the first day I went to see him I got prescription medication soon ill get and aim staring to feel better soon ill get injection treatment I recommend Abdul Quader Khan Md.
Dr Khan has an excellent bedside manner. He took his time to listen to my concerns and showed a lot of empathy. I felt at ease talking to him. His knowledge of his speciality is thorough and he has an ability to explain this in a language that I could understand. I really felt that Dr Khan wanted to help me and felt confident with his clinical decisions. I recommend him to anyone who wants to see a caring and professional pain management specialist.
Dr. has a good bedside manner and seems nice. Unfortunately he was not able to help me. Nor did he recommend anyone whom would on the contrary he told me not to go to a specific hospital I thought that was unprofessional of him. I am upset because prior to my appointment I made his receptionist aware of my illness. I recommend Dr. if you want ( only) injection treatment if you receive injection and medication therapy sorry its not happening. But Dr. is well mannered and his staff is very helpful as well. As far as my visit and wait time was a waste of my time and I will not be returning nor recommending this Dr.
He was friendly and explained to me everything I needed to know.
my opinion of this Doctor is that he cares about his patients well being, he takes his time with a patient and he doesnt jump into any thing, I would recomend him to any parson in my situation,,, thank you ZocDoc for this listing of this professional ....... Regards Darlene Hollis,,,,
Dr. Khan was very knowledgeable, kind and seems to really want to help me with my pain. He spent a lot of time with me. I will recommend him to anyone is struggling with chronic pain.
