She seemed impersonal and rushed. She tried to refer me to get testing without explaining what it was or why itwas necessary. I was trying to establish care, and other offices will talk to you for a long time to get your entire medical, family, and social history and she talked to me for about 5 minutes. (ps this is coming from someone in the medical field who has dealt with a lot of primary care doctors).

She is no-nonsense and definitely quick. For my first appointment I was sort of surprised that more of my information and medical history wasn't more carefully looked at. Will be interested to see how my follow-up goes.

This was my first time visiting and everything felt transactional. The initial interview to go over family medical history lacked thoroughness and they do not have detailed records the way my precious doctor's office did. In addition, the next course of action wasn't presented to me in options more like commands. What was supposed to be a simple consultation was a very stressful experience for me. Definitely not going back. They all need to work on bedside manners and overall cleanliness of the office. There was no where for me to put my things except the floor and the station where they gave me my flu shot and drew blood looked unsanitary.

TBH as a Black person, there are times when I go to the the doctors office and am made to feel unwanted. This is not the case with Dr Shah. Dr. Shah always makes me feel welcome and valid. And she's a great doctor to boot.

Always seems really rushed and doesn’t ask a lot about history. I said I was thinking about starting back on my old birth control and before I knew it the prescription was sent without discussing any other options or why I went off it in the first place. Dr. Shah is very nice which is important because I’ve had doctors that are not at all friendly but her answers to questions seem rote.

I am new to Philadelphia and have been looking for a doctor for 3 months now, all with failed attempts. I finally met with Dr. Shah and she was fantastic! I felt extremely comfortable talking with her and she seemed to be very knowledgable regarding all my concerns. She was thorough but also quick, which was great because I was able to get the most out of my appointment in a short period of time. She was very genuine and intently listened to everything I had to say. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to others.

I saw positive reviews and was excited to finally get situated with a physician in the area. I sadly left with a very negative experience. She didn’t ask about my medical history or medications. She took no time to get to know me or talk to be before becoming very personal, she didn’t explain what was going to happen. She seemed nice but in a rush and could care less about this being a positive OB/ GYN experience.

This was my first visit to Stoll Medical Group. I just moved to town and needed to find a new primary care doctor so I stopped in for a physical. The women at the front desk took a while to acknowledge me and generally seemed pre-occupied with other things (they appeared to be legitimately working though, just no concept of acknowledging new people coming through the door). There wasn't much of a wait once I finished my paperwork. This office is huge! I was led around the corner, past another administrative desk, and up another hallway to the exam room. Dr. Shah showed up maybe 10 minutes after I'd be in the room and I was surprised to see a "scribe" following her. With the scribe, Dr. Shah was able to devote her full attention to me without having to stop and take notes along the way. She wasn't judgmental about anything as I gave her my medical history and she was on board with current treatment plans that I put in place with other doctors (e.g.: going to a chiropractor for back/migraine pain). It was actually just great to hear a doctor say she was happy with my numbers since I had a biometric screening and have family history of HBP, heart disease, etc. Usually doctors are OK with the numbers but don't give the added context that my numbers are good considering everything else and that I don't need to be overly concerned at this point (as I usually am overly concerned). Dr. Shah also explained that this office can do annual gynecological exams so I don't need to find a separate gynecologist for that appointment next year (until I'm ready for children, since this office can't do the OB care), so that was great news too! One-stop-shop for me. Overall, it was a great appointment and I will definitely come back if I need to have a "problem visit" or need anything else in the future.
