I had a very long wait time. My chart was misplaced and I got skipped over. I would recommend this doctor but only if you have more than an hour of free time.

I was highly unhappy I would never go back, First I was there four over two hours for a regular check up. Then He did not explain anything that was going on. He told me I needed some dry eye implants. This seemed to be an insurance scheme because I then heard him pitch this to three other patients. Then he told me I needed to come back in three separate time for others things that he could not do today. No information was given to me before hand. He would do things without asking and then tell me things I could not do, with out asking if that would effect me daily life.

Needed to see and Ophthalmologist, because my regular was booked until feb 2016. I was experiencing vision changes since my last visit to my eye MD in 2012, For example, additional floaters, excessive brightness of night lights and increased near vision blurriness. Instead I got the "rush" Optometrist reading eye chart treatment, with a prescription for a stronger reading glasses. Don't need a prescription or a doctor to try on reading glasses in CVS. Guys, at least a glaucoma eye pressure or eye structure test? Who knows, maybe my insurance was billed for it, and I am just the sucker. lol

Such a pleasure. Attentive, knowledgable...normal. Very nice and warm. I think he was mentoring some jr. level staff which is nice. The appointment was not drawn out, everyone had and knew their role and performed seamlessly. You can tell they like working with one another, the environment was warm. ALSO he knew what my insurance was, what would and would not be covered (I got a new eye exam instead of updating a prescription) and walked me through what he was going to do so I knew before he performed. He also took time to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend. I will use him moving forward. Very nice guy and you could tell his just a nice GOOD PERSON too. Often, people recommend doctors because they're nice and make them feel warm and fuzzy, comfortable blah, blah, blah, but what about highly qualified? What about knowledgeable about preventative care? Preventing an eye issue is just as important as curing one, and he took a look for preventative care as well without me having to ask. Lastly, the office itself was clean, up-to-date and about 2 min from the train.

Excellent Doctor. The waiting time was not bad at all (referenced as long in previous reviews). Dr. Rudick was very thorough, knowledgeable and referred me to an excellent retina specialist. Great overall experience.

Wait time was absolutely terrible, over an hour. However, Dr Rudick and staff were very professional and they have a lot of sophisticated testing equipment. I felt like I was in good hands... just wish it hadn't taken 2 full hours to do this.

When I arrived, I waited in the waiting room, was taken for tests, then had to wait on a side bench, then brought into the exam room where I waited yet again. The exam itself felt rushed, as if I was on an assembly line as Dr. Rudick hopped from room to room. I was given a prescription that had an expensive copay. The pharmacist said they should have given me a coupon, but when I called they gave me the wrong coupon information. The whole experience was a little aggravating. I am not sure I will return.

Took a few eye exams one after another I guess to thoroughly check out glaucoma and other eye diseases. The Doctor didn't spend much time with me so it seemed a bit like he was rushing off to another patient. The wait was not bad. I waited about 15 min. In and out within an hr.

Hi! I had a bike accident and flipped over handlebars of bike and landed on my head. I was knocked out and went in the ambulance to Bellevue. I ended up with a concussion and three big cuts on my head and face. ER stitched up two gashes in my head and one on my face just over my eye and did a CT scan, but I still had blurry vision two days later and my head and face were swollen and I was worried since it was such a hard hit to my head. I went to a neurologist who advised me to see an opthamologist, so I made an appointment with Dr. Rudick. He is GREAT! Short wait; nice, clean efficient office; friendly staff; and then he was SO competent and caring and smart and comforting. He did a really thorough exam and reviewed my records from the ER. I will definitely go back to Dr. Rudick when I need glasses or if I have any other problems like that. Call him!!

Dr. Rudick was a good balance of warmth and clinical precision. He was thorough. My only criticism is that he moves rather quickly. I am still new (this was only my 3rd visit), so I will keep ZocDoc posted with any updates.

I literally saw Dr. Rudick for maybe 2 mins. He barely listened to my problem... didn't really care. What he seemed to care about was getting me back in under my medical rather than my vision insurance so that he could bill again. My contacts had been particularly dry and fogging up lately causing me irritance. I thought he would fit me for a new lens. He suggested putting a stent in my eye, technically a non-invasive surgery. When I went home and told my finace I was really wary about that, he pointed out that i had switched my lens solution recently. Problem solved. I switched back and haven't had an issue since. Perhaps had the Dr taken a moment longer he would have figured that out himself -- but then he wouldn't be able to get the second payment from my insurance, I guess. Now, he didn't complete my visit since he said he could do the remaining check-up procedures in the next visit, and my insurance won't cover a second visit. Thanks, Dr. Rudick. Never again.
