The enture team was supportive. I was in pain & they got me in quickly to see the Doctor
Very patient, took the time to explain everything and made sure I had the opportunity to clarify and ask questions.
Finally finding someone that 1st of all listens, has time for you, is knowledgeable, takes the time to clearly explains what you have, and the ways to efficiently help. The staff was as well respectful, helpful and friendly. The location was clean which is a change. The only question I had leaving this facility was: "– Why didn't I come here earlier?" Thank you Dr. Alexander Rances!
Dr. Rances as always was amazing. Great attention to detail, great bedside manner and wonderful way of explaining what is going on.
I have been a long time patient of Dr. Kuo and Dr. Rances.. Hudson Spine is undeniably the best of the best. This experience of quality care starts when I walk in. Sophia V. And Twinnie X. always have a smile and uplifting attitude. It's like being half cured for having spoken to them! They both know how bad my memory is (Gulf War Vet) and keep me straight on my appointments. A large portion of pain management is psychological and Sophia and Twinnie are a dose of happiness. Thanks Sophia and Twinnie and the rest of the support staff!!!
Dr. Rances is always kind and professional and has thought out all potential solutions for my medical problems.
I have been dealing with a chronic back issue for many years - Dr. Rances and his team approach was to be admired. We have not solved the issue at this point but I am confident that he can find a solution. I have seen many pain management doctors but I have never written a review - but, Dr. Rances seems extremely knowledgeable and compassionate for someone suffering from a chronic issue. wdm
Always professional and kind. And always has a good strategy for me.
He was a very nice doctor i have another visit with him feb 16
Absolutely the best and really takes time to discuss your health.
Friendly staff ... helpful Looks at the whole person not just the problem b4. Coming up with course of action
Hudson Spine has been my provider for more than four years. That is because they are the BEST!!!
Everyone was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I found the office in a random search and couldn't be happier that they will shepherd me to better health.
This office better than any I've ever visited. I never wait more than a few minutes, even if I'm a little early or a little late. The staff is extremely kind and caring. I highly recommend this office to anyone struggling with pain. They also have a physical therapy center right downstairs. They get an A++++ from me!
Excellent physician and wonderful staff at Hudson Spine
Best service great doctors.
Awesome doctor, can say enough
Amazing Dr. Very attentive to your health and questions, providing the best care
I am not the type to leave reviews unless something has gone horrifically wrong and i want to warn others thru social media, so please take that into account when reading this Dr Rances is perhaps the MOST GENUINE, COMPASSIONATE and CARING physician I have encountered in NYC. He takes the time to fully explain what he thinks is happening and the various options for treatment. He genuinely cares about his patients, and has encouraged me to update him on my condition, even when I dont have an appointment scheduled, I have full confidence that he will be able to treat my condition and/or if I need to see a specialist, he will refer me to the right person. I have also dealt with a few others at Hudson Spine, and once you make it past the front desk, everyone is extremely nice and helpful - even though it is a pain clinic, it is a joy to go there :)
I found Dr. Rances to be very kind and had a lovely bedside manner. Beyond that I was very disappointed on all fronts. After assessing my various imaging studies and hearing my story he declared that I was suffering from "failed back." Treatment options were limited, surgery would not help me because it would only cause more scar tissue, he offered me oxycontin (which I declined), gave me 2 spinal injections under general anesthesia, billed my insurance for a back brace that was never discussed with me and told me at every appointment that I would likely need a spinal stimulator implanted to try and cover my pain. A pretty disturbing diagnosis for an active 34 year old former dancer. Thank god I sought more answers from another spinal surgeon in NY. It turns out that my spinal hardware was broken in 2 places making it completely unstable and I had a failed fusion that created a dynamic spondylolisthesis. So essentially my vertebra and metal brackets were bouncing around in my spine as I moved. Patients beware and please get a second opinion.
As always very professional and answered all of my questions and concerns
Awesome Dr. Very knowledgeable knows exactly what treatment is best for your condition
I was very impressed on how attentive Dr. Rances was to my concerns. He was very knowledgable about my issue. The front desk could use improvement but once i was inside it was very professional and different than my experience at the front desk.
It is always a great, smooth & productive experience when visiting the office. Dr.Rances is very kind, gentle and professional. After 4 years of chronic neck pain, a surgery and 5 other opinions, he was the first doctor to find the exact location of pain. Now he is working on my knee providing shots to minimize swelling from a miniscal tear, including draining fluid out from above the knee. Its been a true blessing to have found Dr. Rances!
Very nice and informative. He was very attentive and informative.
Wonder staff alongside Dr. Rances. Very professional and I was very comfortable. ????????????
This was my first visit and was treated with professionalism & kindness. The doctor is warming & explains to you, so you understand what he will be doing. I definitely will be looking forward to future appointments & will definitely recommend family & friends to his office. Very comforting environment.
DR. Rances is by far one of the best doctors I've ever seen in NYC. He was prompt, extremely attentive and had a genuine concern about my well being. DR Rances has the ability to make you feel like you are his only patient.
Great except my knee hurts more.
It was a great visit!!! Dr Rances actually sits down with me and explains everything I may not understand on a visual model so I can best understand what exactly is wrong. He is very patient and shows great care in treating me. I don't feel rushed and he left me with all my questions answered.
Hes great but some of the nurses are rude look forward to working with him for my back problems
Dr Rances was very knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. He listened to my symptoms and asked questions about the history of my pain. This is something that I did not get from previous pain docs.
I had been experiencing some knee pain and my appointment with Dr. Rances went very well. He was professional and friendly, and took the time to explain my treatment options and what to expect afterward. The procedure went well with minimal pain during, and afterwards, I immediately felt better. The staff was helpful and I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rances and the office to my friends and colleagues.
I have been suffering from chronic knee pain for several years and I was referred to Dr Rances by my PCP. I met with the PA who was very helpful and informative. Dr Rances explained the procedure to me fully and walked me through what to expect afterwards. He was attentive, friendly and the injection went very well. I experienced minimal pain afterwards. I would recommend this office and Dr Rances to anyone who has chronic pain.
On the week of the snowstorm, I had slipped and landed on my tailbone and my elbow. I was concerned because I was feeling pain when I was walking and bending down. They was able to squeeze me on the same day with Dr. Rances. Though I had to wait a little bit, the experience with Dr. Rances made it up. He was attentive, patience and caring. Unlike the other doctors I have visited, he listened and made me felt comfortable. Would definitely come back.
too far from my residence and i got caught in the rain waiting for medical transportation to locate me which made me feel even worse
HE AND HIS ASSOCIATE ARE GREAT IN HANDLING PATIENTS BUT NEVER ON TIME
