Dr. Winkler is great but find his administration process woefully inefficient. Insurance required prior authorization and they have been very slow to response and have called them at least dozen times. It's been 4 weeks now haven't received my med yet- that is unacceptable.

Great bedside manner. I'm a relatively young man, so seeing a urologist was a bit intimidating, but Dr. Winkler and his nursing staff were great. Gave lots of information about what he was doing and thinking, and answered all my questions.

Dr. Winkler has a dry erase board and ACTUALLY draws diagrams so you can understand how the body works and what may be potential problems depending on your particular symptoms. In 54 years I have never had a doctor do this.

Wait time was long but that had to do with the fact that I had not included up to date insurance information on my ZocDoc nor had I brought in my insurance card. I think they did a good job considering.

Ok listen, I entrusted my balls to this man, a subject that shouldn't be taken lightly! Dr. Winkler is the ultimate professional, made me feel cery comfortable with a proceedure that most men find uncomfortable! At the hospital and in hisoffice the emphasis was on what I felt ans wanted. The proceedure was a breeze and he personally followed up with me. Cannot fault him, altgough tge chance to name any children after him has sadly passed!

Even though I arrived 20 early and all paperwork was already complete through zocdoc, I was not seen for almost 2 hours (1 hr 48 minutes) after my initial appointment time with no explanation or apology. The gentleman waiting next tome said this is standard procedure for this office. Upon trying to reschedule to leave, they magically were able to take me. The doctor was with me for just over 2 minutes. No comprehensive exam- as I was scheduled for-, just an order for a sonogram. Why am I paying out of pocket for 2 minutes of terrible care? I was shocked and disappointed. Finally, I have called the office four separate times since my sonogram, each approximately two weeks apart (it has been over two months since the procedure was performed), and cannot get a basic call back to say if everything was okay. This type of negligence and incompetence has no place in Weill Cornell, where each and every other physician is high above industry standard. tldr: If you find a lump in your testicle, this is not the place to go.

I thought he was great. I wish he was a girl but that's because I didn't think there would be an exam and I'm alittle shy. Otherwise, he made sure to not embarrass me and make me comfortable. I would definitelycome back to him and send others as well...
