Dr.Alice was very inviting, made me feel comfortable, & concise in her explanations. She related a lot of knowledge concerning my medical questions. I consider myself fortunate to have her as my doctor!

I was incredibly dissatisfied with my experience. I had made an appointment in the early morning to be sure that I would make it to work on time, and the Doctor made me wait over an hour.

I can't say I recommend this doctor, or 14th Street Medical Arts. While she's perfectly nice, as far as it goes, she spends very little time and has very little to say. Most of the two appointments I've had have includedher staring into a computer and talking to the nurse next to her. 14th Street Medical is mainly a billing shop. Every time you show up you have another bill. They're happy to have you see lots of specialists, and then you get hit with more bills. And the staff is curt and makes you feel like a product running down a conveyor belt. Looking for a new doctor.

Dr. Coghill and her staff were extremely kind and listened to me in key ways other medical professionals have failed - namely believing me when I said my veins are small & roll. I can count on one hand the numberof times a nurse hit my vein on the first try, so I appreciated that. They didn't rush me out of the room, but they did skip explaining certain things unless I asked. For example, one nurse had be do a standard breathing test, then said she wanted to try what turned out to just be a saline solution dispensed like a humidifier, but I had to ask her what it was through two different questions. There were a lot of patients and the facilities were quite small. I think this just meant the staff didn't have time to be thorough. It also meant that I waited for an hour. This hour was broken up in two segments. Normal 10-15min before I saw the nurse for preliminary questions and breathing test. Then 40ish min before I saw the doctor. I wanna say the staff was great enough to wait for, but I hate being in a medical setting. So sitting for 40min in a narrow hallway with people rushing back and forth when I'm there for treatment is just too stressful. I'll finish out my current treatment & testing with them, but I'll have to search for another PCP.

I had to wait 1.5 hours for a simple lab follow-up, then she asked me if I’d ever taken a medication that I currently take, because she could not be bothered to even glance at my medical history. When I complainedabout the delay, she blamed it on the admin staff, who are always very nice and helpful.

Despite arriving for my first appointment (physical exam) 90 minutes late; the reception staff greeted me warmly and even managed to work me in quickly. The waiting areas were comfortable and coffee and cookies were provided during the wait. The staff as a whole (nurses, techs, phlebotomists) were all very friendly and seemed genuinely happy with their jobs. The doc herself has an excellent bedside manner. I’ll definitely be retaining Dr. Coghill for the foreseeable future.

I was the first person in the office and waited about 15 mins to see her. Dr. Coghill was kind, compassionate, detail-oriented, and did not rush me out the door like every single Primary Care Physician I've had in my adultlife. Everyone in the office was very helpful and welcoming too. I previously read some complaints on ZocDoc about the wait times for Dr. Coghill. This is because she really makes time for each patient. I suggest making an early appointment and setting aside enough time in your schedule to be seen (about an hour). I've gotten used to incomplete, impersonal 15 mins check-ins with doctors these days. It was great to have a different experience.

I really like this doctors office as whole—the staff is very nice and the nurses are great. This is the first time I saw Alice and it was a very bad experience. I waited over an hour to see her—during thetime I was waiting she saw 2 other patients ahead of me who had also been waiting for a long time. Once she finally saw me I was only in her office for about 5 minutes. She argued with me over my symptoms and honestly was a little mocking a rude. I will be back to see the other doctors here but not Alice.

I’m never coming back here! Not only did I wait two hours for results from blood work, this doctor gave my results (personal medical information) to the patient ahead of me. She confused my results with another patient......then pulled thatpatient back into the room with myself still present, opened her charts, and proceeded to read her results ( personal medical information) in front of ME! This doctor is not worth your time. She’s highly disorganized (clearly) and doesn’t seem to care about doctor patient confidentiality! I will be reporting this! ALSO NOTE: this entire office is highly disorganized. The three times I was there, the nurses kept calling me in rooms to take my stats when they were already done. Chaos is everywhere!

I just moved to NYC from FL and have been sadly disappointed by the poor customer I've experienced here, so I feel it's my duty to praise the kind, patient, and professional staff at this office. Not only is the spaceclean and aesthetically pleasing, but the girls greeted me with smiles and genuinely friendly dispositions. I was also impressed by the coffee and tea in the waiting lobby. I've never seen this kind of hospitality in a doctor's office! It was so refreshing. My visit went fairly quickly, all my needs were addressed, and I left feeling like I'd accomplished something. If you're considering Dr. Coghill's office, GO! She's so sweet, and her spirit is reflected in her staff and environment.

She was okay, very friendly but I felt rushed. Maybe it was due to it just being a normal screening but there was no time to really get comfortable with her. Did answer my questions though.

The doctor was fine, if a little aloof. BUT: the rest of the practice was a complete nightmare. While I was there, one of the women behind the front desk had a bit of a breakdown and started shouting "what isWRONG with you people?!" at everyone sitting in a full waiting room. The woman who took my blood was distracted the entire time she put the needle in me, and was directing a bunch of deliverymen who were trying to get an exam table into a small room across the hall. Two days later, they called me and tried to give me some stranger's test results. They insist on booking many separate appointments for things that, in other practices, would either all happen in one appointment or simple conversations that could happen over the phone. You're better off at urgent care.

Alice was very kind and had good bedside manner. But the experience overall was negative, as it seemed very disorganized. I had to return to the waiting room between seeing the nurses, seeing the doctor and getting bloodwork done. I hadto remind them I still needed bloodwork after I was left waiting for 10mins. Overall, not a very well-run practice.

I’m petrified of doctors, Dr. Coghill literally held my hand. She made my examination less nerve racking, took time to answer my questions, and made me feel at home. She’s wonderful. Maria took my blood and I didn’t even feel it.The women at the reception were jovial and warm. The office doesn’t feel too clinicy, the energy there is peaceful (not peaceful like dead, but peaceful like relaxing.) Professional. Kind. Knowledgeable. Making them my primary GP. Go see Dr. Coghill.

My appointment was at 10 am and it’s 11:50 and I haven’t been helped , I had to stop someone and ask them why is other people that came after me being helped first. I been waiting for two hours andstill have to keep waiting to be helped by a doctor this is unprofessional. How can other people that came after me can be helped makes me feel like they don’t appreciate my time

The wait was really awful as I watch patient after patient go in before me. When I asked the office staff, they tried to figure out the problem but did not communicate well with me about why I was waiting orwhen I would finally see a doctor. When I was finally in with the doctor, she was kind but mostly told me that nothing could be done about my pneumonia and told me to be patient.

The front desk was very nice and professional. I filled out paper work and additional info on an iPad in about 15 mins and I was called in to take my blood pressure, weight, etc. I wasn’t expecting a physical butglad I got one. Once it was time for me to see the doctor it was about 8:30 (over an hour after my 7:20 apt. time) and I felt rushed from the get-go, she gave me no time to ask questions, she was frantically clicking and looking at the screen, made little to no eye contact, cut me off when I was talking I was probably in for 5-10 mins before she said ok go to check out. I wanted to know about additional co-pay or follow up appointments and she said I don’t know ask the front desk. I asked a question at one point pertaining the consultation I scheduled the appointment for to begin with and she told me to google it...... the audacity. Great receptionist and nurses but the worst doctor experience I’ve had.
