Although I read the review of one patient, which was distasteful, I said to myself, maybe that was just a one time occurrence. I went ahead and chose Dr. Meyer, because of location and availability. The experience was aweful...no bedside manners, just cold and rough. If he was the last Orthopedic Doc in the US, we are doomed.

He was very detailed, honest, and just gave me his perspective of being a doctor dealing with knee injuries. I highly recommend and would see him again.

He's a very mean man. Not very nice. He seemed annoyed that I was there. The only reason I need to see him was for a letter for my job. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He also seems irritatedmost of his patients are black people in the neighborhood. Go to another neighborhood then. U saw him for about 5 short minutes and all be did was refer me. It was really sad and I felt uncomfortable. He was patronising and made me feel stupid when he asked questions. He didn't even want to hear of the reason I was there. You can bet I will not be returning to him again. This entire office needs a revamp!

The doctor seemed short of patience. Didn't take a complete history and was talking to me as if were making up my illnesses although I have been diagnosed and treated for them for over 10 years now. It was very discouraging

He was so rude and dismissive. I waited 3+ hours for a visit that lasted less than 5 minutes. He was rushing and completely negated any questions or concerns that I had. I will never go back there again. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody!

He has a terrible bedside manner. Quite rude and curt. You wait two hours and he sees you for all of two minutes-- and that is after THREE cancellations on his part. Others may have a positive expensive but he's a doctor I won't be visiting any time soon.

The office was not prepared for my arrival. It was as though they didn't think I had an appointment. Which was made and then confirmed through zocdoc.

It was bizarre. He has a strange sort of gallows humor bedside manner which is sort of funny but really doesn't take the edge off a twice-broken ankle. When it was time to take the cast off, I sat in thewaiting room for a few hours, then when I was invited to have my cast removed I waited for about 45 minutes in the room. While sitting there, the doctor and nurses started frantically rummaging through all the cupboards and drawers. It turns out that they'd mis-placed the saw that they use to remove the cast. Desperate to remove the cast, I got online looking for medical supply stores in the area but wasn't able to find anything. Eventually they turned me away and I had to hobble my way home. Rather than go back I used a dremel to remove my cast myself. I cut myself a bit, but at least I didn't have to go back! It's worth mentioning that the rest of the staff, the nurses and receptionist were incredibly gracious and kind.

It's in a really bad neighborhood of Brooklyn and I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen by the nurse and then wait another 15 until I saw the actual doctor. Spent two minutes with him he said go getan X-ray in his office. I was told the wait for the X-ray would be 45 minutes and then I would have to wait to see the doc again with my results. No thanks!

Let me first start out by saying he smelled like a cigarette factory. It was a horrible experience. You would think this doctor had a huge patient list the way he sped through the appointment. I came into the office toget up to date xrays, a MRI, and some treatment for my knee, and this doctor was asking me for old information. Since I didn't have my old records he could not diagnose me or treat me. I thought that was the whole point of me showing up to see a specialist.

Waited over 2 hours before being seen by this doctor, despite having an appointment. Nursing staff rudely speaks to patients. Waiting room was crowded with few available seats for those with obvious leg problems. Had to give up seats to elderlypatients. Best thing about waiting was the tv because my sprint phone had no service. Patient coordinators say, "come!" as if patients are animals instead of politely saying, "you may come this way," or "please come here." 1 hour and 15 mins before I did patient intake. I only stayed for the doctor's note explaining my absence from work that day. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone who expects to be treated like a decent human being.
