He asked a lot of questions and wrote everything down even though he had a scribe with him. His back wasturned to me the entire time I was there. His interview was about 45 min. His medical scribe walked into the room, didn’t say hello or introduce himself and proceeded to write down all my medical info. I had to stop to ask who he was. Very unprofessional.

He took FOREVER to go through my paperwork, which I think should’ve taken less than 20 minutes. He had 2 medicalscribes in the room( didn’t mind) but didn’t let me know who they were until I asked “who are you?” The overall visit was quite annoying. I’ll see how he is on the next visit. It took him over an hour to just go through my old blood test.

The wait time was very long. I got there 30 minutes early to fill out paper work and was seen an hour later. Not too bad but I’m used to doctors running more on time. Great bedside manner though and very sweet and helpful!

Before he walked in the room to speak with me and share my bloodwork results, he had already diagnosed me and decided on a course of treatment. This is after spending OVER 3 HOURS in the waiting, which was the SOP for each office visit. He spent maybe 10-15 minutes in the room with me asking how I feel. The truth was the side effects of the meds were awful and he was making really hard to try the same med with a different route of administration. Eventually, I stopped seeing him.

The doctor is very good but the receptionists were not mindful of people’s time. I arrived at the doctors office at 11:50 am for my 12:00 pm appointment on Monday but they didn’t let me in until 12:40 pm when I requested for a reschedule as I needed to leave at 1 pm. Patients who checked in 15-20 min after I did were let in before me. I just feel that the receptionists should be more cognizant of people’s time and appointments esp when someone has an appointment during their one hour lunch break on a working day.

Awful. Doctor doesn't explain anything to you, the office is run so poorly. You WILL wait an hour after your scheduled time. You WILL not understand Dr. Purohit at all (talks like a mouse), office holds 2 patients at a time, only 1 nurse. Unacceptable. This is my second appointment because I like to give a second chance but I will never be returning here. Honestly, no beef or anything with the guy, just a poor service entirely.

Dr. Purohit seems like a very knowledgeable doctor who asks a lot of questions before making a diagnosis. However, the wait is not worthwhile (I had a 1pm appointment, arrived at 12:40 and still wasn’t seen until after 3pm). Also, it is noteworthy to mention that his wife aka the manager of the office is very unprofessional and simply put rude. She’s very insensitive and makes the office visit an unpleasant experience.

Wait time was long, beside manner was uncomfortable. Asked way too many questions that did not seem to have anything to do with my thyroid, seemed judgmental. Finding a different endocrinologist. One plus was the lady working the front desk was very nice.

I was upset about having to wait anywhere from 2 to 3 hours and I have switched to another doctor but eventually I went back to him. He is thorough and you just can't put a time on that. I wish and hope that they can manage the time better but I will always return to this doctor. In the end I know that he has exercised every possibility to make sure my health is okay.

Looking for a new Endocrinologist. Antiquated, small office. Staff and wife not very welcoming. Had to wait at least 3 hours to see Dr., even though I had an appointment. The Dr. himself is old, but knowledgeable, just couldn't stand the wait time.

Ridiculously mismanaged appointment times with no communication in advance about delays. Arrived on time and waited 90 minutes!!! to see the doctor with 2 patients ahead of me in the waiting room. When I inquired if this was typical, staff was unapologetic saying that he often ran behind although today was even later than usual. If patients were 1.5 hours late to appointments, it would not be tolerated. When the doctor finally appeared, he spent time socializing with a pharma sales rep rather than addressing the obscene delay in seeing patients. On the way out, I learned that other patients often arrive earlier than their appointment times to reduce wait times. Patients are seen in accordance with sign in sheet. So why bother with apppintment times at all?!

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE OR USE THIS DOCTOR! HE WAS SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I do not even know where to begin, first of all the overall professionalism of the staff and feeling of the office was horrible! I waited for no joke almost 3 hours to be seen, I had to see an endocrinologist asap so I didnt want to leave.... there was a tiny lady going around the small waiting space and saying 'just be patient the doctor is very busy...' I couldn't believe that WITH an appointment I had to wait 3 hours to be seen! Also, once I finally got into the doctors office: he was so out of it, I'm sorry but he seemed too old to be doing his job in his condition (sleepy, super slow, disinterested...) he barely did anything to me to assess my health, and thyroid issues, he literally just looked at my files faxed in from my obgyn and told me (as if I didnt know) that I had just had a miscarriage, I WAS IN SHOCK! I said to him, I am aware of that fact sir....and?????? He didnt have anything to follow up with really... I cannot express to you how stupid this whole experience was that took 5 hours out of my day. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. In the end, he had only checked my reflexes, looked at my files faxed in, and checked my heartbeat. THIS MAN SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED A DOCTOR.

I have been a patient of Dr. Purohit for over 20 years. He is very professional, considerate and genuinely concerned for his patients. He wants the best for his patients and will partner with great surgeons, and other specialists to make sure we get the best of care. He spends time as needed with every patient answering questions and explaining care and medications, a rare trait of many doctors these days. I feel I am a valued patient not just a number.

he's okay. i was wearing a new spray on foundation and didn't know yet that it sprayed on in a very bad way. so he diagnosed me with some kind of skin condition where my face met my hair and wrote a script for my bad foundation. didn't get to the bottom of any of my problems aside from the foundation.
