Dr. Amr Hosny is a triple board certified, Harvard trained, Pain Management physician, who helps patients relieve their pain and recover from injury without surgery. For over 15 years, Dr. Hosny has been the leading physician of Interventional Pain Management in NYC and NJ. His practice is dedicated to non-surgical treatment for head to toe pain conditions including; back pain, herniated discs, sciatica, neck pain, plantar fasciitis, sports injuries and other orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Hosny’s expertise in the field of pain management and his dedication to his patients has been recognized by Castle Connolly and the U.S. News and World Report. Dr. Hosny has been acknowledged as a New York Top Doctor by Castle Connolly for 2013, 2014 and 2015 and by the U.S. News and World Report for 2014.
Dr. Hosny has been a guest lecturer on various topics ranging from spinal cord stimulation for neuropathic pain and complex regional pain syndrome, to alternative approaches for chronic pain.
After completing an Anesthesiology residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Hosny completed an Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at Beth Isreal Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, in Boston. He then served as Chief of Interventional Pain Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital, New York Medical College. Dr. Hosny is currently an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at New York Medical College and Medical Director of New York Pain Care and The Spine & Rehab Group.
