SUMMARY: After several expensive treatments at this office, I was a couple minutes late (though I called and let them know) and Dr. Spizuoco refused to see me *or talk to me* for an appointment I'd scheduled months in advance. I'mnot convinced the doctor was even there. They then called me an hour later to say they could "fit me in". I had a treatment with Dr. Spizuoco, my fourth time seeing her. For the first 2 appointments I was over 10 minutes early and wasn't seen until at least 15 minutes after the scheduled time. This time I was stuck in a crazy traffic jam. I had left an hour early and the drive was only supposed to take 30 minutes at most, so I was planning on arriving early. I tried to call to tell them I would be a couple minutes late but since the office doesn't even open until 9 am, I was sent straight to voicemail. (The last time when I arrived early I had to stand outside until someone came and unlocked the doors right at 9 am.) At about 9:02 I finally reached someone on the phone. I told them I was a couple blocks away in traffic and would be there as soon as possible, hopefully by 9:10. The receptionist said I would need to reschedule. As a teacher it is really hard for me to find time for these appointments. The treatment I am doing takes a few days to recover from, despite what Dr. Spizuoco claims. I had this appointment for several months. I arrived at exactly 9:09. The three receptionists barely made eye contact as they told me I would have to reschedule. They explained that they can only allot 30 minutes for each patient and my treatment is an hour and a half so I couldn't start late. This did not make sense. Was Dr. Spizuoco planning to see another patient at 9:30 even though my treatment would not be complete? None of the receptionists answered our question. I also know that my last treatment took less than an hour. I then insisted on being able to speak with Dr. Spizuoco directly. One of the three receptionists said "I don't think she's here yet. Is she?" Another receptionist quickly interrupted her and said "yes yes she's in the lab." They refused to "bother" her but finally someone went to "talk" to her. The receptionist came back and said she couldn't abandon her lab work to talk to us. Not only am I not convinced she was even in the building yet (the last time I had a 9am she walked in after me at about 9:04), but if she was in the building how was she already so engrossed in lab work that she couldn't talk to me? I was her scheduled appointment for that time. Most unbelievably, they later called to say they could "fit me in" because she "moved things around". This was incredibly insulting as we had begged them to let us start only 9 minutes late, and now she wanted to start 48 minutes late as if it was no big deal. This was by far the most upsetting experience I have had at a doctor's office. I have seen Dr. Spizuoco three times. Once for a consultation, and then twice for treatments which are very expensive. I could not believe she wouldn't even talk to me after I have arrived early to every other appointment and made a huge effort this day to call and let them know I was rushing as fast as I could after a traffic jam.

Dr. Spizuoco walked in without introducing herself and With an anoyyed look on her face. She immediately sat down and stared at the computer making noises of irritation because the computer was going slow. She was condescending when I askedany questions regarding my skin and when I told her where my pharmacy was. She barley looked at my skin I had to ask her to look at it which is ridiculous. She made me feel stupid when asking questions and has an overall rude demeanor. All she did was refill a prescription. I was Shocked at her behavior after the appointment. Very disappointed.

Dr. Spizuoco seems very knowledgeable, but I was disappointed with the way she treated me personally. This was the second time I've seen her and each time I felt like she couldn't wait to get out of the room. She spentmaybe 5 minutes with me, barely acknowledged my concerns, and seemed to only glanced at my skin problem. Also, when I expressed concern over my medical expenses budget, she just made a joke that I needed better insurance and left it at that.

Great office and staff. Very stylish vibe, great playlist, and decor, and free Polar seltzer while you wait. Cozy and not "medical", which is great for nerves for those of us who dread seeing doctors. I did have a 30 min wait, which was a bummer since it was morning. But all in all I will definitely go back.

I came in a bit early and was seen exactly on time. I was in for a small problem but it was something that made me nervous. Dr. Spizuoco came in 3 minutes after the nurse left and put me instantlyat ease. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Plus, they take my insurance! Would definitely recommend this office

I would never recommend this place. Dr Spizuoco was lovely when i saw her and she prescribed me a cream for my melasma which, she alerted me, was not going to be covered by insurance and cost a specific amount. Walkedover to the pharmacy and they told me it was going to be three times as much (several hundreds)! I didn't buy it went back to the Dr's office and asked to speak to her. The ladies at the reception did not let me see her, even though i offered to wait until she was free from her current appointment. They told me they had to write her through their messaging system (from room to room!) and later the doctor would call me and address my issue. I made extra sure and asked: "Are you absolutely sure that she is going to call me back today? , "yes absolutely!" was their response. This was on a Friday, no one called me back... I had to call the following week and didn't get any apologies, no one cared. One week later i still don't have the prescription cream. Will never go to any of Dr. Buka's offices again. Worst client care and service i've experienced.

Waited less than 5 min for my appointment. A Physicians Assistant completed my skin cancer screening. I had another more personal issue and the nurse was extremely understanding and nice enough to get Dr. Spizuoco herself to look at it. Shewas also extremely friendly and understanding. Took one look at the issue and prescribed the necessary medication. I would definitely recommend the office to anyone. The cool interior design of the space was an added bonus!

Dr. Spizuoco is very professional and direct. She didn’t however care to know history of my condition and prescribed medication that my insurance didn’t cover. It took over two weeks for her office to submit another prescription which eventuallydidn’t treat my acne. I returned for a second visit where she asked almost nothing and changed the medication. The new prescription also just dried out my skin and didn’t treat my acne. I will not be returning to seek treatment or care.

Dr. Spizuoco is one of the best doctors I have ever seen-- she wasn't just extremely knowledgeable but also asked all of the right questions, was very thorough and caring, and had incredible bedside manner. After seeing more than 5 dermatologistsover the past few years, she was the only one who could give me clarity on what I was experiencing and talked through my options with me so that we could choose the most effective one that I was comfortable with. It was just the cherry on top that she took it upon herself to work through getting my prescription to me when my insurance didn't cover it. I will absolutely be going back!
