Long wait, but he is a great doc so very busy. Worth the wait time.
Friendly staff. Dr. Reddy was great once I got back to see him. He even apologized about the long wait time for today which I've rarely heard a Dr. do. I arrived for my appointment on time, quickly finished the necessary paperwork and then had to wait just over an hour and a half get back to see the Dr. This was my first time at the office (or to any Psych for that matter) and they were rather busy. I will go back because of the friendly staff.... and also because they are the only practice anywhere close to me (23 miles away) that accepts my insurance. So tie on principle, win by default.
The doctor was helpful however, I waited two hours for my appointment and I was there early to fill out my paperwork. This was my first visit.
Very professional office. The women at the front desk were very personable and efficient in handling the patient intake. Dr. Reddy asked all of the right questions to really focus in on the key issues and determine what and if treatment was nescessary . Um glad I chose this office for multiple reasons.
Hate it when you make one of the first appointments of the day and the Dr is already running behind by an hour and a half. It seem like the norm for this Dr.
The doctor and staff was very friend and helpful; very professional. The wait time was a little long and seems to be the case, but waiting for an appt seems to be standard these days at most offices, but do allow an hour or so beyond your schedule time, however this too comes with the flexibility the office offers.
Great Dr but 2 hour wait if not long night that's with an appointment.
The staff was extremely kind, friendly, and professional. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects of this office end. My wait time was 3.5 hours. I did arrive to my appointment 30 minutes early, but even counting from my appointment start time, that's still 3 hours. Dr. Reddy seemed rushed and hassled once he got to me, as if he didn't have time for a consultation amongst all the other patients he'd overbooked. He wouldn't listen to all of the symptoms I wanted to discuss and instead insisted that I be medicated for something I showed only a few symptoms of. He rarely made eye contact and would react to my concerns with dismissive sarcasm. If you're looking for somebody to get pills from, this is the guy. If you're seeking actual help for your individual needs, look a little harder.
Great physician, but overbooks appointments. I was expected to wait two hours after my appointment time - that's ridiculous and a complete waste of my time.
Waited at least 2 and a half hours both times I saw Dr. Reddy. When I finally got in to see him the appointment lasted all of about 5 minutes after such a long wait. It seemed like Dr. Reddy just wanted to hand me a prescription and get me out of his office as soon as possible. I tried asking some questions but he was invested in his computer and seemed annoyed when I wanted answers. Maybe others had a better experience and that's why everyone here waits so long to see him but I will be looking for another doctor.
The Dr is fine, its just the wait time is really long.
I've seen this doctor a couple times now, and I have waited at least an hour each time even though I made it early to my appointment. I waited two hours for this appointment, and when I saw the doctor, he seemed to rush me out of the office quickly and didn't give me much of his time to discuss my concerns.
The wait was a little loNguyen because there were a lot of people scheduled before me but everyone was so nice it didn't really matter. I was a little sore though because I can't sit for very long
Dr. Ashwin clearly sees a ton of patients so i cant give a higher score the the crazy long wait time. The office staff was helpfull and kind. The doc was knowledgeable and recommended a few options so you can tell he means well, he was informative and kind, listened very well.
Ive never waited so long to see anyone in my life. Complete joke. I gave him a bad review and he confronted me. Bills insurance as much as possible for 5 minutes of his time. Basically a Pill Mill. and he sucks as a person.
Great doc and office staff. Worth the wait.
The wait is ridiculous and the office staff is not helpful.
The Dr. appears to know his stuff and has near instant recall of previous visits. Comes highly recommended by Luke Behavioral Health He has a great staff from his M.A. Heather to the ladies at the front desk. Biggest drawback is Dr. Reddy appears notoriously overbooked and wait times to see him can easily be 1- 1/2 hr later than scheduled while his time with patients can typically be less than 15 minutes--so it appears. All in all, a good psychologist
Love this guy. A good listener. Very satisfied with him. A #1 type of person
The staff at his office were super friendly today and the wait wasn't bad at all! I could tell that both the doctor and his staff truly do care about those they treat.
Please note that I was a half-hour late to the appointment, as I just relocated to the area and had difficulty finding the office, so the wait time I have denoted may be skewed due to my late arrival. Wonderfully friendly staff. Organized, efficient, and Dr. Reddy was great. He took the time to answer all my questions and was the first MD I've had in a long time that could actually operate a computer. :) Great first experience.
The wait was horrible, what made things worse was the cramped waiting room everyone had to use together. There were so many people waiting that a handful had to stand outside. We were all subjected to watching courtroom paternity testing reality TV for the 1 hour 30 miniutes we all had to sit in the waiting room. I think all 20 or so patients that were crammed in that tiny room all waited about the same time. None of them seemed shocked about the wait so it must be pretty typical. I will be looking for a different doctor that values my time.
He spent his time typing on the keyboard making a lot distraction. Did not show any care to my condition. Without explaining what is going on with me he wrote me a prescription and told me take it.
Very nice cause he took the time to listen to me
Dr Reddy is an excellent Doc and I would recommend him to anyone. The issue is this; however, if you plan to see him, expect your wait time to be at least 90 minutes and up to 3 hours after your originally scheduled appointment. I have been to visit Dr. Reddy three (3) times in the past year and the soonest I was able to see him was today 90 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. It does no good to arrive early either. The other two times I visited Dr. Reddy, my wait times were 4 hours and 3 hours respectively.
I felt it was very quick paced and that he was really busy and couldn't give me the time to talk things out more.
Was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns very pleased to finding this practice.
The wait was super long but Dr.Reddy said it was an issue with the staff and not the norm... Dr. Reddy is efficient and intelligent. He doesn't have that judgment thing, alot of psychiatrists have. I'll be going back.
Dr. Reddy seemed knowledgeable and understood what I was experiencing. He's a fast talker and gets ahead in his thoughts, so you may have to ask him to slow down. Very pleasant gentleman. Definitely recommend.
By the time I actually get into his office, I am exhausted and frustrated from waiting and just want to go home. He is helpful in the respect that he writes prescriptions I need, but besides that is not really looking to get to know you which I would assume the most successful and helpful doctors take the time to know and understand their patients.
Very easy listener and easy to talk to. Thanks, Dr.Reddy.
Long wait but Dr was great
Even though a wait, it was worth it.
Wait time is ridiculous even if you have an appointment
If you are ok with waiting two plus hours and dealing with emotionless, cold staff- go here! What an absolute waste of my time. NEVER again.
Dr. Reddy was very kind and has great credentials. The wait was long but I felt he was worth the wait because he treats addictions and there is a great need for Drs like him for people who need this kind of care. I saw him for another reason and he was helpful by giving a recommendation more suitable.
It was great definitely recommend.
Would highly recommend.
Terrible. I waited two hours for a scheduled appointment and this is not the first time that it's happened
I really like Dr. REddy and have referred my husband to him. However, the wait time for each of us was nearly 2 hours today. Hopefully next time it will go faster.
Extremely professional and to the point. Non-judgemental.
I was seen by Dr. Dekker. He has a wonderful demeanor. Dr. Dekker is very considerate and was genuinely concerned about me. I would highly recommend Dr. Dekker at Dr. Ashwin Reddy's office.
The guy actually listened. He cares about what he is doing and the treatment he is providing. I owe him my life for giving me a second chance
I had to wait about 30 minutes even though I arrived on time. The doctor himself was very professional and understanding. I was a little nervous going into the office, but Dr. Reddy was super easy to talk to & I felt great. He also explained thoroughly whenever I asked a question. I will definitely recommend him to others.
Long wait, but if you are here , you need help and he is a very knowledgeable doctor
The doctor and staff were wonderful. My only criticism is that in the waiting room, the tv was tuned in to a station showing a Jerry Springer type show featuring men who had molested kids. It was quite disturbing and inappropriate for a mental health facility.
I think he is a caring Dr. Who really takes the time to ask you questions about how you feel making eye contact "really listening" and because of that I feel he cares not just for my depression/anxiety managing my medication but also about what's happening in my life that's triggering my stress.
I needed an appointment that day and was able to get in. I did wait an hour, but as a new patient I find that totally acceptable. He was kind, understanding, professional and helpful! I'm very appreciative.
The wait time at this doctor is absolutely ridiculous. I have to go because he's the only psychiatrist that takes my insurance but I've waited up to two hours or longer for a scheduled appointment.
This physician seems to run a pill mill for addicts. The wait times average over 2 hours. On my last appointment he did not show up for work for 1 hour after the first patient was scheduled. After conferring with fellow patients I learned long waits and sparse consultations are common. I witnessed conduct I consider unethical. I would never recommend this doctor. When I questioned him about these problems he turned hostile.
This is my first appointment here and you better bet I'm not coming back, first off the lady up front didn't have my appointment in her computer, I don't know how they run there business but when you offer online appointments I expect you to have my name ready in your computer and have me scheduled accurately and not make it my problem because your not keeping track of YOUR schedule, secondly they over book there was 2 other people booked at the same time as me I waited over 2 hours, which to me is very rude and disrespectful they obviously don't value your time and try to make up excuses when you say something about it and they don't acknowledge their mistakes either. Other than that the doctor was great.
We got an appointment within 24 hrs so it's not surprising that we had a long wait time. Dr was courteous looked straight at us and dispensed good advice.
Dr. Reddy was very nice, friendly, calm and very smart. I was very impressed with his demeanor and experience. However, his staff is not very good. They were very disorganized and not friendly. I told the doctor and he was well aware of this situation. The good news is that Dr. Reddy made up for any negative experience that I had with the staff. I definitely recommend Dr. Reddy. :)
I waited 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment for a solid 5 minute conversation. It was very casual and I was not very impressed with the service. I got what I wanted and needed but I wish he had taken a bit more time for a first appointment.
Worth the wait. Front office staff in my opinion go to the limit to meet your needs .
After a two hour wait, without an apology or explanation , my ten minute visit with the doctor was productive...
EXCELLENT. THIS DOCTOR IS LEGIT. I LIKE HIM A LOT. I WAS LATE FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT AND HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO STILL SEE ME RIGHT AWAY. ALL MEDS HE PROVIDED ME WITH WERE NOTHING NEW. I HAVE BEEN TAKING THE SAME COMMONLY PRESCRIBED ADHD AND SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER MEDICATIONS. SINCERELY, PATIENT TAP
He was kind and professional, definitely worth the wait.
it took more than 3 hours to go in while I made an appointment 2 weeks prior. I was expecting the doctor to listen to what I say but he was in a rush just asking a couple of questions which took about 5 minutes. I don't think you can diagnose a patient who you never seen in just 5 minutes.
Be prepared to wait for quite a while...more than 2 hours
First and last time with Ashwin Reddy. I'm Bipolar and chose him because in his bio it says he treats the disorder. My first clue I chose the wrong Doctor was his practice is under 2nd Chance Treatment. Basically his bread and butter is drug addiction and providing people with Suboxone. The waiting room was full and I sat next to a lady that had been waiting two hours, she said that was the norm but she and the others had no choice because they all had drug addictions and needed there Suboxone or go through withdrawals. My wait was an hour and a half. So, if you have a drug addiction and want to wait a very long time to see a Doctor he is your man.
Fantastic. Yup, that's all!
There is one thing that I hate in life and that is for my time to be wasted for no reason. My appointment was at 2pm and I was not seen until 3pm...in which my session lasted all of 2 mins. There was at least 10 people that were scheduled for 1 doctor at 1:45pm and 2pm. Obviously this guy just wants to make as much as possible...fine but get your stuff straight. It is not that hard.
Very professional and straight to the point which was very helpful considered I just relocated myself and needed to find a new doctor see. Will go back again!
Be prepared to commit many hours in order to attend these appointments. Waits have lasted anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours. However, the fact that my husband is still willing to wait for Dr. Reddy regardless of the wait time speaks volumes.
My appointment was @ 3 pm and I wasn't seen until 5. Great doctor but scheduling is ridiculous. Make sure you clear your schedule the day of your appointment.
I have been to see this Dr twice and he stacks multiple into the same appointment time. Both times I didn't see him until more than two hours after my appointment. When I did see him he didn't listen to me and just perscribed....
The doctor was knowledgeable, friendly and to the point. He really helped me. The staff was very kind and sincere in caring about the patients. I will definitely being returning for a follow up. However, the wait times to see the doctor could be improved.
When the doctor doesn't even show up at the office until 1 hour after my appointment time it is obvious that professionalism and care are lacking.
I'm not sure what I expected but it wasn't what I got. It seemed to be like going through the drive through at a fast food place. "Let me ask a bunch of questions and put you into a category, give you some drugs to try and come back in a month." I will have to reserve real judgement when I see if it helps or not. There were many more things I wanted to consider that didn't get considered.
He is very nice! I will continue seeing him??
Very knowledgeable physician. Long wait time until I was eventually seen by Dr. Reddy (30mins) although I checked in with ZocDoc beforehand. When I asked to use the bathroom, the receptionist asked me for a urine sample and what I'm being seen for. I felt like that was pretty akward especially with other patients in the waiting room. Minor inconvenience. Other than that I highly recommend Dr. Reddy.
He's really good.
The wait time is crazy, especially when the appointments themselves are all of 15 min. One of my prescriptions was written incorrectly, which was fine, mistakes happen, but it was not handled well. It took me over 20 min before I was able to speak with anyone on the phone and when I explained the situation, I was promised a follow up call that never came. After a lot of back and fourth, I was finally told I could come pick up the prescription, which was written incorrectly again. The doctor was with a patient so I had to wait some more so he could rewrite it. The staff is nice, but I think they are a bit overwhelmed.
The office was hard to find. The doctor's office is called 2nd. chance and was not under his name. I waited 2.5 hrs to see the doctor for 10 minutes. I was also given an unnecessary alcohol test that was not ordered by the doctor; the admin. took it upon herself to give it to me. The doctor confirmed it was not necessary.
Be prepared to wait a very long time to see the doctor especially if it is your first visit. I waited nearly 3 hours to be seen
The lobby was filled with people and felt crowded and hot. Office wasn't accommodating to people with disabilities. I waited more than 2 hours to be seen for less than 5 to 10 minutes. Not cool :(
Very understanding and made me feel at ease. Went in for symptoms of ADD and I'm confident that Dr reddy is going to help me finally get past it
Dr. Reddy is awesome! I really like he for being direct to the point with the diagnoses and prescriptions, and actually following up on the state of the patient. When I started seeing him for anxiety treatment, I was afraid he would be one of those disinterested doctors that TV has made me paranoid about, but it was the opposite. I am a get in and get out type of person, so he works out great for my schedule. I also love the office staff! I am horrible with names, but the receptionist with the curly black hair is always super sweet, and the nurse who checks the blood pressure is hilarious! I always banter with her during the check in process. I highly recommend Dr. Reddy.
Dr. Reddy, MD was great with my psychiatry needs. Was right on target with what needed to be done in my case.
Dr. Reddy's office takes days off and then tries to cram missed appointments into the next week's schedule, causing everyone to wait hours beyond their appt time to see him. I would see Dr. Reddy once a month, and I think think the least amount of time I waited to see him (for about 5 min) was 1 1/2 hours. The last appointment wait time was the longest, it was 4 hours. It was on that day I asked Dr. Reddy why there is always a wait time...his response: I guess you just caught us on an off day, to which I responded, no this happens every time I come here. He responded with: have you considered seeing another doctor? He wrote my prescription and sent me on my way, and then had his secretary call me and tell me that he was terminating me as a patient.
Do not WASTE YOUR TIME here. This guy "books" appointments; however, you always end up waiting over an hour past your "appointment" time. The staff is very rude and non-professional.
Dr Reddy was very helpful and spent time explaining about medication that I was interested in and how it worked he answered all my questions and I am very happy with him as my doctor!
Supportive, helpful, insightful, and I wish I had met him sooner.
I thought the appointment was fine. Utilizing ZocDoc was easy. My only complaint was the waiting time. I arrived 15 minutes early, and had already filled out paperwork online. The only paperwork that I needed to complete at the office was to sign their privacy agreement. So I thought I would get right in at my 2:00pm appointment time. However, I had to wait over an hour to see the doctor.
He seemed very thourgh and detailed and was very personable. I'm glad I called to confirm my appointment because his office was tricky to find in the complex, but they gave me good directions.
Dr. Reddy clearly didn't have concern for my situation. He was very obviously trying to get me out of his office asap. I showed up on time for my appointment and then realized there were no less than four other patients signed in for the exact same time. This place is a "healthcare " machine and nothing more.
Staff was very nice. Doctor was highly knowledgable and I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Addressed all of my concerns promptly and was very understanding and kind!
Good man....inquisitive and smart
Dr. Ashwin is a no nonsense doctor. He evaluated my condition and passed no judgment whatsoever. He simply worked to evaluate my treatment needs, and get me started on my new life. I have some sever unique addiction problems (not Heroin, Cocaine, Meth or Alcohol). Dr Ashwin took the time to sit back and consider how he was going to treat my addiction as the normal stuff for H, C, or M would not work for me. In the end he devised a treatment plan that is currently working. I am very grateful that I don't have to die using today!!!
The staff was pleasant, professional and helpful. No one made you feel like a bad person or looked down on any of the patients. They made me feel welcome and at ease. So nice compared to other offices where the staff makes you feel like a loser, criminal. The dr was very professional and helpful. He was patient and listened to my concerns. He explained everything and made me feel like I am on the right road to success. These drugs take the life out of you and make you feel hopeless. The dr makes you understand you can succeed. I felt better within two hours. I would highly recommend this dr and his office to anyone. Don't wait any longer. They will help you.
Dr. Reddy is very personable and listened carefully to my symptoms.
He was very professional and understanding and addressed all of my concerns.
He didn't listen to what was going on with me and was just quick to write a prescription that had terrible results for me. He should never be seen.
Dr. Reddy is very well educated in the area of medication assisted therapy for addiction. He basically saved me from having to go into an in-patient rehab center. Seeing Dr. Reddy was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Other treatment programs have very low success rates. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Reddy first and utilize the more modern techniques available for substance abuse/addiction. These medications are much more highly utilized and accepted in Europe. For anyone reading this, I wish you all the best. Know there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it doesn't need to be as hard as you think. By the way, if you want to avoid a long wait, morning appointments are the best at Dr. Reddy's office. If you are like I was, you probably feel like you can't make an early appt because you are too tired or sleeping late. Trust me, by your second appt, you will finally be getting your life back, waking up early, energetic, and ready for an early appt. So, don't let one or two long waits for afternoon appts turn you off. I'm now doing all early appts and they go super fast!
He is very knowledgeable but quick to make assumptions. I waited for over two hours for my appointment. Other patients in the waiting area told me this is typical.
This Doctor makes you come in weekly for weekly visits even after being a patient for 6 months. Not worth the money or all the time it will take to go once a week.
This was my first visit and I was very happy with the process, and the immediate care that I received. I had been with another person who could not see me anymore because of the insurance change. He made a very stressful situation very comfortable, and the transition ery smooth. This was a major concern of mine.
I was very nervous about my initial consult but Dr. Reddy eased my concerns. He explained my condition and went over treatment options as well as goals. Overall, I was very pleased with my appt.
Dr Reddy was extremely thorough and professional. He spent quite a bit of time talking with me and explaining his thoughts! Highly recommend Dr Reddy!
