Dr. Preminger is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with expertise in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. She has lectured and published extensively.
She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and received her Medical Doctorate degree from Cornell University Medical College, graduating in the top of her class. She completed her surgical training at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell/Columbia and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She also completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Breast Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Dr. Preminger is active in several plastic surgery societies and serves on the Board of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). She is also actively involved in teaching plastic surgery residents and fellows. She possesses a unique interest in professionalism and ethics in plastic surgery.
She holds an adjunct faculty position at Cornell University Medical College and is actively involved in teaching medical students about medical professionalism and medical ethics. She maintains privileges at several prominent New York hospitals including Lenox Hill, Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and St. Luke’s- Roosevelt.
