Bart Beaver, D.P.M., is a board-certified podiatrist whose area of specialty focuses solely on the foot, ankle and related body systems. As a podiatrist, Dr. Beaver has extensive training and experience in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of foot and ankle disorders by use of medical, mechanical, and surgical means. He also understands how systemic problems such as diabetes, arthritis, vascular disease and more affect the foot. Prevention of foot problems is also a major focus of his practice.
Dr. Beaver offers a full range of podiatric procedures, including surgeries to treat bunions (deformed bones of the big toe and foot); hammertoes (an imbalance of the tendons and joints causing buckling of the toes); bone spurs (an overgrowth of the bone); heel spurs; neuroma (painful enlargement of the nerves in the foot); and plantar fasciitis (inflammation of the tissue in the bottom of the foot).
Dr. Beaver earned his medical degree from the acclaimed Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and underwent additional training at the Lake Shore Foot & Ankle Clinic. He served his podiatric residency at New Center Hospital. Dr. Beaver is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine.
