Visit was great. Very smooth. I made my appointment on Zocdoc and the check in process was easy. Dr. Littlejohn is understanding, frank and super chill. Will come back.
Great doctor. Great service. Great results.
Dr. Littlejohn is awesome. He's super personable and took the time to get to know my medical and personal background in detail as a first time patient. He offered insight that was useful and easy to understand. Not only did I get the treatment I needed, but he was a really nice, relatable guy. The receptionist was friendly and the office overall was very clean. I'll definitely be back in the future!
Really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Littlejohn. He was very knowledgeable and gave a detailed explanation of the questions I had. The only little hiccup i had was the long wait before being led to the patient examination room. I had arrived on time for my 11:30 appt but was not even given the paperwork to fill out until almost 12:00 and taken to the back around 12:10.
Very unprofessional right off the bat. The first sentence uttered out if his mouth as he entered the room was very offensive and sexist. I do not recommend I super disappointed that Zicdoc rates him so high. I should have googled for other reviews.
It is ALWAYS a pleasure going to see Dr. Littlejohn. The entire staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. Dr. Littlejohn is down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly cares about his patients. Oh, and he always has delicious fruit at the office for patients. Such a nice touch! DEFINITELY go see him!
Dr. Littlejohn was great. I was not rushed at all. Excellent experience.
The woman at the front desk and doctor both seemed disorganized and scatterbrained - both didn't know ahead of time that I was a new patient. I had rescheduled my initial appointment the week before which I guess was a confusing move. Staff member asked me specifics about my psychiatric RXs right in the waiting room, with another patient sitting 2 seats away...personal and irrelevant? Yeap. The previous week when I confirmed the appt on the phone, I asked the representative if I needed to arrive early to fill out forms - she said no, that they had the info from zoc doc and didn't need an intake. But then I did in fact have a butt load of forms to fill out.. the woman at the front desk kept running over to me saying 'oh actually this one too.' Whatever, we all have those days, I get it. What threw me was once I finally saw the doctor, he went on tangents and had this strange sassy attitude. He answered my first question in a slow, condescending voice. He had a nervous oblivious type energy- the type of person you don't want to be poking equipment around your face. He also had a way of talking about people and conditions as if they belonged to strict categories.. i.e. everyone with this condition is always like this ... some actual quotes for you: 'adderall is methamphetamine' false... 'frats in college got banned because they kept raping people and doing stuff like that that frats do.' Um what, I wasn't in one but hey what if I was...also I didn't ask about your college experience man so I don't know why you've been talking about it for the past ten minutes. While the appt seems done & I'm waiting to pee, the rambles continue. Overall I'd say this man is incompetent, self-oriented and totally off in terms of common social sense. I for real don't know what planet he was on, but I think you don't want to go there
Makes going to the doctor a pleasure, which is weird. You're supposed to hate going to the doctor, right?
Helpful as always!!!
So informative, funny, and smart! Thanks Ben!
Dr Littejohn is always the best. Friendly, fast, super down to earth.
Amazing Doctor who is approachable and very helpful. I found my general physician for the long term!
Very Cool guy.
So glad I found Doctor Littlejohn when I moved to the East Bay last year! He is a reliable doctor who actually cares which is so hard to find these days.
My visit was great as always
He's a good guy, I feel comfortable with him.
He is great! Very thorough and willing to help.
I like the way that Dr. Littlejohn takes time to talk. He is down to earth and thorough. Great Doctor!!
Very friendly and addressed all topics. I needed a tonsillectomy and he advised against it, and suggested antibiotics... as I have made it clear I need a solution and not a harmful bandaid. I went to another doctor to finally get one done and I haven't felt better since.
It was great and the staff is super friendly.
Great office, great visit, great doctor. Already looking forward to my next appointment!
Dr. Littlejohn was very pleasant to work with. He's very informative about health issues. Will definitely use his services again
Great visit, looking forward to having him as my new primary care - 1.5hr wait time was a little excessive, but fortunately I didnt have anything pressing afterwards...
Great doctor! Very kind and patient, made sure to answer all of my questions and go do a thorough checkup.
Very satisfied that he will be my new PCP.
Excellent very professional as you would expect
He is awesome! Great energy and very very thurough
Explained my health problem in very understandable terms. Dr was able to treat my problem in the office and I have been pain free, in my thumb joint , since then
My visit with Dr Littleman was great. He asked me a lot of questions and was extremely thorough. Great sense of humor and also empathy. I'd definitely recommend him.
Great, personalized care as always!
Dr. Littlejohn is a pleasant, professional doctor who engages not only on a medical level, but also on a personal level. We recently had to switch to his practice because our former doctor changed practices, and it's been a very positive experience. Thank you, Dr. Littlejohn!
I didn't have to wait very long in the lobby but after the nurse took my vitals I had to wait quite a while in the room while the doctor finished with his previous patient. It's what I expect, which is unfortunate, but at least there was an interesting NatGeo magazine that I could pass the time with. Otherwise, I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Littlejohn and I'll be seeing him again next week for a follow-up.
Dr. Littlejohn was great. He took the time to talk to me, understand my past medical history, and what I am looking for in not only a primary care physician, but the personal goals I was setting for myself. I am extremely happy ZocDoc connected me with his practice. He will be my primary care physician going forward!
Listened very well and made appropriate treatment Have follow up appointment.
As always Dr. Littlejohn was great in addressing all my health needs and staff was polite and quick.
Nice little office in Emeryville. Staff was helpful. Dr. Littlejohn is friendly and, as a new patient, he spent a surprising amount of time to get to know me, chat, and check-in on my health complaints.
Was looking for a new doctor since my move and couldn't have come across a better choice. Dr. Littlejohn was personable, understanding, and effective. Already looking forward to my next visit!
It is very easy to be comfortable around Dr. Littlejohn! He and the people who work in his office are lovely.
This was probably the most enjoyable experience I've had visiting a doctor. Felt genuinely cared about.
A doctor that truly cares about his patients, not in it just for the money. Very caring, attentive and smart.
Very informative explained al of my questions. I did not feel rushed
Great doctor and friendly staff. Very personable and skilled doctor. Was very helpful in my diagnosis and treatment.
Very friendly, talkative but doesnt make you uncomfertable if you arent a chatter. Addressed my concerns and gave me much more info then other doctors. Very obviously cares about his patients.
Dr. Littlejohn is a wonderful doctor. I'm facing a shoulder surgery and when I needed several documents for pre-op clearance, he ordered and prepared everything I needed right during the visit. More importantly, he's compassionate! In appointments he goes the extra mile to help me feel ready for surgery and to check in on my emotional state. He really gets to know his patients, and he personalizes the PCP experience in a world of an increasingly impersonal medical care.
He seemed genuinely interested in helping me. He provided good practical information.
I was really not a fan of Dr. Littlejohn. He was way too chatty (about everything EXCEPT medical treatment), and he actually kind of seemed to scoff at me and my concerns. Aside from that, he was a nice person... but he met with me for about 40 minutes, and spent maybe 1-2 of those minutes actually examining me. For people who enjoy chatting with their doctors about life, college experiences, etc., he would be a good choice. However, I prefer my doctors visits to be more clinical and less judgy. I will not be a returning patient.
I enjoyed Dr Ben, he was very concerned about me I didn't feel rushed in and out. It was also very good to talk to I felt very comfortable discussing my issues of concern.
Dr was very attentive, he spent time and sat down and listened. Got everything I needed in terms of specialist referrals, very pleased!
Dr. Littlejohn was friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
I had a pleasant and educational appointment. I have mixed feelings about how long it went. On the one hand it's great to get so much of a doctor's time; on the other hand I needed to get to work. I was annoyed that after fasting all morning and finding out that my appointment could have ended much earlier, the blood tests that were a primary purpose of my visit couldn't be done anywhere close by, causing an early morning appointment to suck up all of my morning and lunch.
I really like Dr. Littlejohn. He was very attentive as well as connectable.
Unprofessional and distracted. Used casual language and spoke in tangents unrelated to my health. I didn't feel taken seriously at all and don't believe he really cared about my concerns. I definitely would not recommend this doctor.
So happy to call Dr. Littlejohn my new Primary Care Physician. The appointment went well and he addressed my concerns. It was also really enjoyable just conversing with him.
Very through and easy to talk with. Unpretentious
I am very nervous when visiting doctors but this visit with Dr. Littlejohn was painless. I felt at ease with his staff and with him during my visit. He explains everything fully, and takes his time to listen to all concerns you have. I was able to address 3 separate health issues on my first visit. All in all a very good experience. **NOTE** Google Maps will take you to his old office. Make sure you check the address before going to the wrong place, as I did.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of care and attentiveness that I received at Dr. Littlejohn's office. You are able to fill out your paperwork online, which allowed me to go straight in to see the doctor. Dr. Littlejohn was professional and thorough and I found his bedside manner to be quite delightful. I'm often a tough person to admit that I'm sick enough to merit going to the doctor, but this experience made the thought of possible future excursions for treatment seem far less daunting. I would certainly return for future care.
Best doctor I have seen in a very long time. He really cares and takes his time. Highly recommend!
Great Physician very knowledgeable and caring. Hard to find these days!! :)
A most excellent medical experience. Super personable staff. Littlejohn took time to carefully evaluate the ailment I had with my ear and made quick work of totally fixing it to beyond 100% better. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
As expected very conscious of the patient well being.
Dr. Littlejohn is very friendly, engaging and easy to talk with. I felt like he was interested in me as a person - not just another patient. I am impressed by his compassion for people- particularly the poor in Central and So. America where he has apparently travelled and worked extensively. His office staff seemed equally friendly and caring.
Dr Littlejohn was fantastic. Very frank and to the point which I really appreciate. He can also be very talkative which I enjoyed but patients in a hurry might not like that.
I appreciated the time that the doctor spent listening to my symptoms, and the fact that he wasn't quick coming up with quick diagnosis or cure. Instead, he recommended small changes in my lifestyle that would result in long term improvements for my general wellbeing. He is attentive, caring, and competent; a rare combination.
Showed genuine care about my health. Didn't rush the appointment or try to throw prescriptions at you like other doctors. I felt very comfortable at this office.
Ben was awesome! You can genuinely tell that this office cares about patient health. It was my first time visiting this office and I felt like I'd been going there for years. Highly recommend.
Dr. Littlejohn was personable and friendly. It's clear he makes a point of making his patients feel welcome. I felt like I was in trustworthy hands.
Doctor Ben Littlejohn was more concerned with himself than my need to see a doctor. Of the 2 and a half hours I was there, we maybe spent 15 minutes talking about me, and of that time all of my medical problems were dismissed.
Absolutely terrible. I have a chronic illness and he completely ignored and invalidated me. Zero sympathy.
I am very happy and pleased with Dr. Littlejohn! I felt very comfortable an at home with him. He understood my energy of being paranoid about being healthy an checking everything out. I liked the fact that we had conversations about interests and music. I also didn't feel like I was being rushed with my appointment. Maureen who helped me at the front desk is a gem. She helped me so much with figuring out my insurance and also gave me a hug!
He was very friendly and frank, which I appreciated. It took me a while to get in to see him, but to be fair I did show up exactly at my appointed time and I had to fill out all the new patient forms. His entire staff was extremely friendly and I felt very well taken care of.
