Waited 1 hour and 45 min. to see Dr.
The wait was very long, but Dr. Glassman was very helpful and the solution to the problem was immediate and effective.
I'm a new patient. I didn't know what to expect. He had a busy office, and from what I understand is the norm. But I do see why! He's a great doctor. Despite having a lot of patients to get to, I didn't feel rushed, he took his time to listen to my concerns and gave me the best advice. He was so friendly and nice. I highly recommend him and his staff who were also very friendly. I'll definitely be back to see him if the need arises!
Professional, well-spoken staff. Good doctor. Quickly diagnosed the condition and laid out treatment plan. Highly knowledgeable. Wait time is long due to high demand.
Despite always arriving early and filling out paperwork online, I've never waited less than 25min to be seen, up to 40min.
Over schedules his day - will not wait again for 2 hours !!!
THE WAIT IS ALWAYS AT LEAST ONE HOUR. I OVERHEAD ANOTHER PATIENT SAY SHE AND HER HUSBAND WAITED NEARLY TWO HOURS. IT WOULD BE UNDERSTANDABLE FOR THIS TO OCCUR OCCASIONALLY, BUT IT SEEMS TO BE THE STATUS QUO
It reminded me of when I was a "starving student" and got my medical care at government clinics.
Very efficient and took care of my concerns. I do have a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks to find out the results of the tests that are being run.
Am always satisfied with the results. The actual time spent with Dr. Glassman leaves a bit to be desired. He's in and out in a matter of just a few minutes - and not a lot of feedback.
No place to park. One hour wait for 3 minutes with the Dr. Did not tell me my diagnosis, I don't know what my 2 RXs are, and why do they have to be filled by Loundoun Pharmacy! This place is the worst.
Dr G was thorough and clear in his assessment. The exam room was hot and in need of maintenance.
Appointment was rushed. Doctor rushed in, minimized my concerns. Told me he wasn't going to give me a prescription because my insurance doesn't cover much "find something otc" and left. Best thing this office has to offer is that it's easy to get an appointment.
He is fine, but the wait was ridiculous.
Huge wait time. Arrived at 9:05 for a 9:15 appointment. Was shown to an examination room at 10:30, and was examined (quickly but thoroughly) at about 11:00. They were having computer problems that day, so this may not be normal.
I was at the office at 8:45 for the 9:15 appointment. Filled out some paper work which was completed before 9:15. There was then a exceedingly long wait to see the Dr. He appeared to be in too much of a hurry, and had to be called back to complete requested work. The office appears to be run a a factory.
I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment to be seen! That is just ridiculous, especially for a dermatology office. Dr. Glassman was nice enough. My other issue is that I needed a full body skin check and he did not warn me that a male medical transcriptionist would be seeing me in the nude the whole time! At least give me a heads up and give me the option to make another appointment or have a female nurse present. Being naked in a small closed room with two men may be someone's idea of a good time-but not me! Then he leaves me alone in the office with the transcription its. Nice enough guy, but I'm in my birthday suit with a total stranger who is not my doctor! !!!! Also, the office was so discombobulated that I couldn't even book a follow up. I just left.
Professional, friendly, thorough and efficient. Highly recommend.
Long waiting and short consultation time.
I feel dermatologist's offices are the place of extremely short appointments unless something is life threatening. Front desk staff didn't really look me in the eye to greet or speak to me, they were glued to their computers. That being said, the wait time was brief and the check-in process was efficient. Due to the high volume of patient's they see, the waiting room is not peaceful at all. I felt extremely cramped. The assistant that took me to the room, wrote down some brief notes regarding my problem but was kind and had an actual conversation with me. A few minutes later, Dr Glassman came in (fully briefed) and he had an quick visit with me, asked what I'd like to do (I'd had this problem before), quickly reviewed a few options and prescribed a medication. This is exactly what I was expecting and done the way I feel it should've been. I'd go back if I need to but hopefully I don't.
After waiting 45 minutes in waiting room (30 min past my appointment time), I waited 30 minutes inside. The visit itself was less than 10 minutes. People were nice enough and I felt they got the job done but wow what a long wait... Probably shouldn't go in the afternoon.
I didn't get to talk to him that much. Look like he try to rush through his patients. Maybe because I look young and he doesn't give me the respect that I deserve. Yes, he treated what I want but I know nothing about why I had it. I try to ask him questions but he left the room. I also wait for 30 min in the waiting room. It was full of people. I don't think he would cares if he lost 4 or 5 patients because he is to busy.
Dr. Bruce Glassman made me wait for 2 hours even though I had an appointment with ZocDoc and had sent all my papers. Once I was inside the room, the doctor came to see me in between some other patient. He had not seen any notes that his assistant had made prior to coming to the room, saw me for less than 5 minutes and left. Oh and instead of giving me instructions on how to apply the medicine, I was given a photocopy from some journal. Waste of time and money.
I was seen promptly, partly because I had completed the new patient questionaire on line prior to the appointment. Dr. Glassman did a thorough exam, removed some problematic warts and I was out of the office in 30 minutes.
Always a good experience with this professional man!!! Very effecient and effective in his treatment!!
I'm sure Dr. Glassman is a great dermatologist but my experience was poor. I had a 7:45am appointment and was not seen until 8:45am. Inexcusable. I had to be at work at 9:00am as well. I was on the verge of walking out but two assistants pleaded for me to stay and reassured me that I was next. A minute later, I met with Dr. Glassman for about three minutes. I just went in for a consultation, nothing serious. Won't be returning.
I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and waiting 45 minutes (30 min passed my appointment time). They were busy and I was in no rush but when the doctor came in I felt very rushed. I do not feel like he did a thorough exam or took the time to talk to me about any issues or concerns. He popped in and popped out. It is a little concerning. I understand they were busy, but I waited 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, all i ask was that he took his time with me. Also, he spoke to me when he held the door open and I was not fully clothed. The office seemed very busy and a little unorganized. The receptionist was very nice and had great customer service.
He was quick to look at my skin and quick to decide on what was the issue with it. Then he prescribed me a skin cream without explaining what exactly is the skin issue, what I could do to prevent it from happening again and was out the door. I waited for a long time to only be looked at for a few minutes and was not pleased with the result and with the visit. Plus, when I went to issue my prescription, I found that it was an extremely expensive cream that I was not able to get it - which made me feel as if the entire visit was worthless. I made the choice to not return again to get another RX and just to be glanced at for a few minutes after waiting for a long time, as well to be left with no explanation.
As has consistently been the case, Dr. Glassman remains very knowledgeable about my medical situation and is promptly capable of prescribing the appropriate therapy for treatment and maintenance. I shall continue this relationship.
The office did not have the records I had filled out online. He was very curt and did not explain what he was doing. I appreciate my health professionals educating me about what they are doing, what is going on with me and any medications they are prescribing. Dr. Glassman did not do this.
Dr Glassman is great. The parking and wait time are both horrible!
Dr Glassman is excellent - and it would appear from the wait time that I am not the only one that shares that opinion. That's what happens when you find a really great Doctor
Very good. ZocDoc made the booking really easy. No waiting on the phone- could schedule from my phone.
Waited over an hour to get a prescription refilled. They overbook the doctor and no one seems to care that it's at least a 2 hour commitment. Will never go back, worst customer service.
This doctor did not even take a good look at my skin or touch my face; which is very odd considering I came in looking for acne treatments. He simply told me my acne was not bad enough for medication and that "he has seen worse." Well, of course he has seen worse.. he's a dermatologist. That's like going into the doctor for a cold and the doctor not helping you because they have seen worse illnesses. The "appointment" was all of 3-4 minutes, and it was not helpful at all. I even mentioned to him that the first time I went to this location, I felt that I waited for over an hour to see a doctor that only spoke to me for five minutes and did not properly examine me. I was very unimpressed with this facility and I feel that I wasted mone y by going in to see them. I will definitely not be back.
Very nice, quick visit.
I was pleased with with Dr. Glassman and his staff. I was seen 2 minutes before my scheduled time. The staff was polite, pleasant and professional. The time with Dr. Glassman was short but it was okay. His recommendations put my mind at ease.
I was very happy to get to see him the next day; other dermatologists had their next appointment a month out. I had just a little thing I wanted him to look at and he was able to make a very quick assessment of it and I was on my way with peace of mind.
I had a 7:45AM appointment but didn't see Dr. Glassman until almost 9. Once he arrived, he was apologetic for the delay and friendly, but made a quick diagnosis before moving on to the next room. I stopped him in the hall to ask a few follow-up questions, and I wish he had spent more time with me. I'm sure he was trying to catch up with his other patients, but I expected more attention after waiting to see him for so long.
Personable and thorough doctor. Highly recommended.
He seemed like all he cared about was getting me out of the room and moving on to the next patient. His tone was condescending and he made me feel like I was wasting his time.
Dr. Glassman was great - very professional and no problem was too small for him. The only downside of the appointment was the wait time - about 40 minutes past my appointment time.
I waited for 1.5 hours because the system confused my appointment time. I made my appointment through ZocDoc for 1pm, but the doctor's office received it as 2pm. I even called the office to double-check that it was 1pm, but when I signed in, I wasn't called for over 30 minutes. That's when I approached the desk and found out that their system still thought it was for 2. I wasn't seen until 2:30. I almost walked out. Next time I will make my appointment directly with the office and not use ZocDoc.
He is a great Dr and fast. However, the time you have to wait in the waiting room and in the treatment rooms leaves a LOT to be desired and you must plan for at least an hour of your time. The time with the Dr is 5-10 minutes.
Professional and appropriately friendly.
I went to see Dr. Glassman hoping to get help with my moles (one of them was getting bigger as I told him) and skin tags. I was very disappointed since I felt like I was wasting his time. No tests were done, but he just looked quickly and decided there was nothing to do about it. It was my first visit and I wish I was given more attention and time.
The waiting room is chaotic and noisy. Staff members at their desks are having loud conversations with patients in the waiting room, rather than calling them over to the window for quiet consultation. Also, staff is too loud with personal conversations that spill over into the waiting room. Really, this was the moist boisterous waiting room I can remember. WK
The visit was very good.
Felt very quick and rushed. Didnt feel like I could discuss my options.
Took an hour to go back & another 15 minutes to see the doctor. He was fine- professional and courteous- but the wait was far too long.
Drs office did not have information about my appointment that I made on ZocDoc. They accommodated by appointment time, but had not received the booking information from ZocDoc.
His staff was excellent and friendly. The doctor took time with me and was extremely professional and answered all my questions. I have the utmost faith in Dr Glassman and his staff!!
good but long wait
Outstanding staff and doctor!
Excellent Doctor and office, except for the usual long waits beyond the appointment time.
I wish I didn't see him
Great experience and very knowledgable and personable DR. Was completely honest and made me feel at ease immediately versus the stress and nervousness I was experiencing going to see new DR the first time. He knew more in a couple minutes then what it took other DR numerous visits. Wait was very quick and the ladies at the front desk were pleasant and easy to deal with. What I have learned in this experience using ZocDoc do not see anyone listed as an internist or primary when you need to see a dermatologist. These DR's should not be listed under this speciality as it not only hurts the actual true dermatologist but will cause you heart ache when your issue doesn't get resolved properly. Really enjoyed my quick but pleasant experience with Dr. Glassman. Highly recommended!
It was a good visit to me
Very happy. I had to wait two hrs at my primary care physician last week.
Doctor Glassman was great! We did have to wait for 1 hour and see everyone else coming and going. I'm guessing our Dr was overbooked? That still wont excuse such a long wait. I'm hoping next visit we don't have to wait for so long.
All went well except the hand doctor given to me is now in Richmond!!! When I called the office I was disappointed that I could not be connected to get a recommendation on another hand specialist
Dr. Glassman and his staff well exceeded my expectations during my first visit to the practice. I was beyond impressed with how comfortable Dr. Glassman made me feel, his expertise on the topics discussed and his thoroughness during the consultation.
FAST! and not in a positive way. I'm not American and I am used to be treated as a HUMAN and a patient. It means that I talk to the doctor and the doctor with all the care and professionalism answers to my doubts and questions. It was impossible with this one. Maybe he is a great professional. I don't know. Not in my point of view. In my country, when you go to a dermatologist to check the moles, He takes a special magnifying glass and checks them. Sometimes the doc uses also high definition camera and check it on the PC. Here the doctor got a gaze at my moles and said to cut out some of them! I neither finished my question and he was with a scalpel on my leg cutting of a mole! I've spent just 5 mins at the office, and I've waited for it 25mins!
I was led to an examination room within ten minutes of my appointment time and saw Dr. Glassman approximately five minutes later. The annual skin exam was quick but appeared to be thorough. I have been seeing Dr. Glassman for about three years and appreciate his efficiency and professionalism.
I have been seeing Dr. Glassman for many years now and would not think of going to another dermatologist. I saw one of his associates once when he wasn't available and was not close to being as satisfied nor comfortable as I am with Dr. Glassman. He is very thorough and extremely efficient in both his diagnosis and his treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
very good, fast and efficient.
Waiting for more than one and half hours but only got less than one minute treatment. This is the second time visit and the conclusion was the same. It's my mistake to make this second visit.
It was awful. I went there in the morning, even I have completed all the paper work on line, I was told to sign two more paperwork. I signed paid and waiting to be called. After waiting for 30 minutes after my appointment time, I asked the receptionist, if the doctor is running late and when I can expect to be called. The receptionist straight told me she did not know. Then I asked her I do I know how long I would have to wait. She replied "probably there are one or two patient ahead of me" . I was shocked and since I paid my copay, I decided to wait and never visit that place. I will also spread the word. Now I explained tot the doctor that I was having a problem it it was for few years. External Medicine I am currently using is not helping. He said, he did not see any problem so he can not help me. Well, if medical problems has to be seen or observed by a doctor, then why we need doctor?, As a patient I can tell the problem if I can see the problem. We go not doctor, in this case he charged me as a specialist, But he can not help without seeing the problems. I do not think we go to specialist for this kind of cheap advice
My first visit with Dr. Glassman went just fine. I found him personable and well educated from the research I did on him. I will enjoy being a new addition to his practice. Best of all, his office opens at 0700 at least one day a week. Sweet.
Dr. Glassman was great, but I had to wait for almost two hours I arrived at the office at 2:45 for a 3:00 appointment. I was taken into the inner office at 4:10 and I finally saw the doctor at 4:44. for a 4-5 minute exam. too sad.
I thought that Dr. Glassman did a thorough job for the whole 4 minutes that he was in the exam room with me. He didn't really say too much. After waiting for more than an hour in the waiting room I was expecting him to spend more time in the room, otherwise, how would you get so far behind schedule?
Quick, but thorough. I was immediately very comfortable. I will see him in the future, despite the wait.
He was in and out.. I waited over 2 hours for a 5 min visit. I am looking for another doctor!
Loved Dr Glassman but did not like the 2 hour wait that is totally unacceptable.
We got in right away and didn't wait even 5 minutes in the exam room. We had an evaluation and prescriptions written after consultation on acne and a scar. Dr. Glassman was polite, friendly and thorough.
Despite the extremely long wait and crowded waiting room, the staff and especially the receptionists (!!) were extremely friendly and patient! The time with the doctor was short, but I felt that it was enough time and that the doctor was very thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Glassman but suggest anticipating a long wait and bringing a book or iPad with you! My only other comment is that the free wifi is very poor - it would be nice if it was upgraded as that would really help alleviate complaints about the long wait.
the office seemed very busy, with a packed waiting room which had me concerned. However they were well organized and efficient my whole visit took just over an hour. everyone there was pleasant the professional highly recommend,
Took forever to get back into the office, but when he finally got there, he knew exactly what I needed and was very professional in answering all of my questions.
His assistants are incredibly professional and nice.
Very useful and satisfying.
Wanted the copay upfront prior to the visit Waited more than two hours People who arrived an hour or so after me were seen before me Doctor spend no more than 20 seconds with me and prescribed a cream and rushed out
I arrived at the office at 3:15 for a 3:30 appointment. I was taken into the inner office at 4:10 and I finally saw the doctor at 4:40. I was waiting on the elevator 9 min later after my exam and checking out at the front desk. So an hour and twenty five minutes of waiting resulted in a 4-5 minute exam.
Love the doctor HATE the wait!
He was in and out so Quickly that i didn't have time to talk to him
Great Experience. He's a straight shooter. He highly efficient without making me feeling rushed.
We waited for 45 minutes to be called back. After asking twice at the front desk, we were shown to an exam room. The doctor spent no more than 5 minutes with us. I won't go back. However, the staff and doctor were pleasant enough.
Dr. Glassman was great, but I had to wait for over an hour for my appointment. I only saw the doctor for roughly 1 minute, but was in the office for close to 2 hours.
Very nice, but he seemed fairly rushed. Medical assistant provided a lot of the bedside manor.
Dr. Glassman was very personable and professional. I was there for a skin cancer screening. His office was packed and he was clearly quite busy. He asked if I had questions or concerns. My exam was very quick, and he was very efficient. He is clearly not one to sit and confer, but I have no complaints.
Although I liked him and he did have a good bedside manner, waiting over an hour to see him when my appointment was at 7:30am was quite frustrating. It was particularly frustrating because my original appointment was at 8:30. I got an email telling me (not asking me) that my appointment had been rescheduled to 7:30 on the same day. Then the doctor didn't get in to see me until just after 8:30.
The best part about this experience is that I got an appointment in two days. The nurse was very friendly, and knowledgeable. The doctor was very knowledgable, friendly, professional, and efficient. He knew right away how to diagnose and treat my main concern. Some people might call this rushed and careless, I think he's just an expert and I had a very common problem that didn't need to be labored over. Then he took the time to answer all of my questions. I was still in and out of the office in less than 30 min. Overall a good experience.
Very knowledgeable and professional! We love this office and have tried other dermatologists in the area and NONE are this efficient and professional!
Very friendly - was more proactive than previous dermatologists I have seen
Solved my problem quickly and efficiently.
It went by faster then I thought.
I filled out on-line forms both on Zoc-Doc and this Dermatology office, and was only required to show ID and insurance. I came in early and still had to wait 40 min. after the appt. Since others have complained of this, I conclude is the office's practice. In addition to this problem, the office is too busy with too many impersonal people waiting for the 5 o'clock bell.
I booked my appointed on-line with ZocDoc. When I arrived today for my 8:30 am appointment, I was told by reception that my appointment was not showing up because of a computer problem with the on-line reservation service. Very disappointing. After waiting 30 minutes I insisted the receptionist confirm if I would see the doctor in a timely manor, or if I should re-schedule. This action prompted quick results and I saw Dr. Glassman, who also apologized for the on-line error. Mary Mooney
The visit was nice and quick and he addressed all my questions and concerns.
Dr. Glassman was very courteous and would not hesitate to come back.
Interaction with doctor was too quick
It was much better than I expected.
Good! I've seen Dr. Glassman a few times, but I've recently been seeing David Kon, a PA who's really excellent. I like him a lot.
Very professional and to the point. No chatting or touchy-feelies.. In and out in a few minutes.
Good times all around. Very laid back.
I wanted a quick DX & info on next steps; got a DX, biopsy & follow up window for treatment, all in about 15 mins. Down-time was the wait (about 45 mins) but don't mind if I can get in-and-out this fast.
Good doc, but the wait - no matter what time of day - is always too long. It takes over an hour at best.
Super quick visit. Good communicator.
New patient. Filled out all info online before appointment. Very convenient. Arrived 25 minutes before scheduled time. Waited over an hour to be called and another 15 minutes to see the doctor for a nine minute consult. Will feel more confident if his diagnosis and new Rx solves my problem. Will follow up in one week to see.
Great experience. Will defiantly see again when needed.
Very efficient appointment. Nice doctor.
This is my first visit with Dr Bruce Glassman but I'm 100% confident that my skin problem is solved. Dr Glassman has great dermatology experiences and pleasant personality. I felt comfortable to communicate with him, and very at ease to show him the body part where I have the problem. He quickly diagnosed and prescribed the medications which sent to my pharmacy, and shortly later, I stopped there to pick them up on my way home. Oh, I should mention a nurse who found coupon and gave it me to save some of my prescription expense. I really appreciate it! Also, I was lost and late for my appointment, I'm glad that I was able to see Dr Bruce Glassman today. Everyone at this office was professional but very friendly. Dr Bruce Glassman is superb! He has excellent expertise and great compassion. I wish I could have seen him earlier instead of suffering this skin problem for so long.
Dr. Glassman gave me the information I needed and I came away feeling much better for that.
Clear concise, very professional in his diagnosis - no fooling around. Staff very attentive and professional as well. Will go see again!
Friendly staff. But wait time too long.
He never called with my lab test results, despite my having to call his office twice. I still don't have my test results six months later...
Long wait but he knows his stuff!
An improvement in the waiting time. Good appointment!
Quick, easy, painless. Hopefully the medication works!
Said few words, didn't give me the results of his exam. Felt uncomfortable during the exam. Would not go back to him.
Dr. Glassman was fine. He removed a suspicious mole and said it wouldn't scar, but it has a huge scar (and I took extra good care of it). He wasn't the friendliest, but he was fine. A bit rushed, but mostly thorough. The biggest downside was the office waiting room. It was a zoo. Packed and standing room only. Clearly over-booked and I had to wait over an hour.
Very fast and efficient office. Dr. Glassman is great -- on an annual skin check he zapped a couple spots immediately -- no need for another appointment. The office is very busy but is well run -- I have never waited past my appointment time. Also, I have been able to schedule appointments within a couple of weeks. My last dermatologist was great but overbooked, so I was delighted with Dr. Glassman and the Capital Dermatology staff.
I thought it was great. I loved the family feel of the office and the staff. They were very friendly and this was my first visit. The staff was familiar with other patients and showed genuine empathy.
Not much. The office sign in staff were nice employees and check in was quick and easy via online. My appointment wait time was very, very bad and long. Appt@145 p, arrived@140p seen@310p and for 12 mins only. Had to inquire at the desk twice before being seen. Appears officr communication is bad and my sppointment fell through the cracks. Nothing done at all. Time wasted.
Dont bother. horrible parking, over two hour wait even with appointment made at ZocDoc. staff didnt have ZocDoc paperwork despite getting an email confirming it was sent. doctor is not thorough. go elsewhere.
It was very good but the office was busy so the wait was a little over an hour.
Quick, easy and professional -- addressed my concerns.
Terrible Office staff. Rude and incompetent.
Quick visit - probably spent 2 minutes or less with the doctor.
I got there early because I wasn't exactly sure how to get there. But they even got me in early and was done and back on the road quickly. I found the staff friendly and efficient. The first office interaction with the patient is SO important and sets the tone for the whole office visit.
Dr. Glassman was very friendly and knowledgable. He stepped out of the room to answer a personal phone call, but wasn't gone long and apologized for the interruption. He wrote prescriptions for a few brand name drugs without mentioning anything about lower cost generic alternatives, but that's typical nowadays. There was a physician's assistant in the room who he didn't introduce or ask if was ok with her being there. It wasn't a problem for me but some patients don't like other people watching a doctor examine them without their permission. Overall though I would say that he was very knowledgable and friendly.
Don't visit on the first tuesday of every month. That day is "laser day", and it will take a loooong time to be seen. Otherwise- it's a well-run practice.
Everything was very professional. I will continue to use Dr. Glassman.
Very satisfied! Will return
Charged an office visit without being given a full exam for skin cancer. Doctor took a glimps at one area and that was it. Not very thorough. I felt very rushed. Also wanted to get a laser treatment and was told I needed to pay for the rental of the equipment. Needless to say I am not going back.
Best dermatologist in northern va. We chatted for quite some time before we even addressed the reason for the visit. He is very knowledgeable and had me on my way pretty quickly! Great guy and great doctor. I will only be seeing Dr. Glassman in the future.
First visit. Close to on time. Great staff. Willing to go back for a second visit.
Figured out a weird skin infection on the first visit when 2 dermatologists previous to him were unable to help. Highly HIGHLY recommended.
I had an early appointment (9am) and didn't wait very long in the waiting room. Wait time in the exam room was typical-about 20 minutes or less. Skin exam was easy, quick, and Dr. Glassman was very comforting and easy to deal with. Book an early in the day appointment and your wait time should be less.
I suppose he is a good doctor but he does not seem to be, he was a little cold with me an after 20 or 30 seconds he left.
Dr. Glassman is a professional and so is his staff. Very friendly and knowledgable.
Excellent derm. doc. Really paid attention to what I was saying and is obviously an expert in his field. Would totally recommend him.
I felt very well cared for, and in a timely manner! I was out of the office in under an hour.
Never schedule your appointment on Laser Day or else you will be waiting for over 1.5 hours! Dr. Glassman was "backed up" by 45min...an hour later I am seen. Definitely will look for a practice not as busy...where the doctor spends more than 4minutes with you.
He's an excellent dr. There are just so many people who want to see him. So yes, the waiting room becomes your friend. The office staff are pleasant but busy. The DR's assistants are very good also. Its a team effort where the dr does the examination and the assistant is noting things on the computer. The dr took the time to discuss all of my concerns, made recommendations, sent my script directly to the pharmacy. Overall, I was pleased and will return.
Dr Glassman was friendly and to the point. He didnt take too long to get to the room once I was admitted. However, the waiting room was as busy as grand central station and the average wait time was about 1.5 hrs.
Wonderful! Loved the entire staff - very friendly and professional.
He is very good - I am an RN and rate my docs from my experience in this profession.
After waiting for more than 1 hour and 15 minutes, I was seen by Dr. Glassman not more than 2 minutes. Seems like everyone was in a rush. Never explained my treatment by anyone.
I think he is probably very good at what he does in the morning. I think perhaps the end day appointments get sped along to try and makeup for his delay in schedule. Waiting over 1.5 hrs for a 7 min skin screening is a bit ridiculous.
Very professional and knowledgable. I enjoyed my visit, as strange as that may sound of someone visiting a doctor.
Long waits, but great service
I've been trying to find a good dermatologist for a couple years. I found Dr. Glassman, he got me in quickly, and I'm extremely pleased! I would highly recommend him to anyone trying to find a good dermatologist.
He is very nice doctor.
I moved to the area fairly recently and this was my first visit. Bruce was friendly and efficient. I was in and out in no time! The office personal and PAs/RNs were incredibly nice and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend.
While nice, Dr. Glassman spent a grand total of 5 minutes examining me, and seemed to be in a hurry to be done and move on to the next client, word intended. I went with three listed issues, and he would have left without addressing the third one hadn't I stopped him. In a nutshell, I didn't feel like the patient was his first priority.
Long waiting time even I had an appointment
Great Service, but there was mix-up in appointment time. Zoc doc said 10, but once at the office it was actually 10:30. Luckily I had a good book and didn't mind the wait!
Appointment was worth the wait. As a new patient, I had read all about the long wait time, and just brought reading material. I am not annoyed by the wait, as reading prior reviews and talking to other patients I knew what to expect.
Dr Glassman was very pleasant. He seemed thorough.
I was very confident of his ability!
waiting over 30 minutes seen by doctor 5 minutes
I really liked the doctor and his assistant was wonderful...the only negative was I waited 45 minutes before he saw me...but the fact I was able to get an appointment in 3 days makes up for the long wait.
Too soon to know for sure.
Great Doctor! I like him very much. His appointment are generally on time and efficient but never rushed.
I feel that he didnt really look at my rash that has 4 different diagnosis but if hes right hes the best doctor I've seen
Was very pleased with the office staff, wait time, and doctor's time with me. Will continue seeing him and will recommend him.
I was not impressed. I honestly didn't mind the wait too much only because I brought a book. But when Dr glassman came in to see me he spent literally 4 minutes in my room. Quickly looked at my skin and snubbed me off prescribing me some lotion for sensitive skin. I think. Because he was obviously running behind his schedule he didn't give a crap about me since I didn't have a more serious acne case or skin disorder. He was rude also in his demeanor towards me and clearly didnt care about treating me badly.
Great! Addressed all of issues.
Seems to me a 9:15 am appointment should not be delayed by 45 minutes, especially when my time with the doctor was approximately 10 minutes. My time is also valuable---I never keep people waiting!!
He acted like I was imposing upon him. God complex.... spent less than 5 minutes examining me. Awful practice.
Had to wait a long time to see the doctor. He spent only about 10 minutes with me. Not sure if I will go back. Will probably go elsewhere for a second opinion.
Staff was friendly and efficient, as was Dr. Glassman.
Excellent care all around!
Great! 4th & finest Dermatologist in the 4 years since I moved to Alexandria! The others appeared to be quacks, although Board certified.
Although his bedside manner for sure put me at ease felt rushed when I was seen and felt I wasn't fully informed of what I should do during my follow up.
Overall, I was not impressed. I had a 03:30 PM appointment time and I didn't see the doctor until after 04:30 PM. Time management is very important for me, I also didn't understand why it took so long to be seen because while waiting I could overhear the receptionist call a number of patients in regards to missed appointments scheduled for the same day. Eventually, I visited briefly with the doctor and was given a prescription and on my way. Doctor Glassman was pleasant and knowledgeable. I plan on giving them one more chance to improve upon their service.
He was accurate about what he is prescribing and direct to the point and was ready to clarify my doubts ...,.. Overall he was a professional and excellent doctor .......
Seemed very confident in what steps needed to be taken to clear up my issue however there wasn't an explanation as to why I'm having an issue. Overall I can't really give an accurate review of my visit until I have my follow up but so far I would recommend him as of right now.
unbelievable that I Had to wait almost a full hour to see the doctor - as a first time patient, not a good impression at all.
very professional, staff was helpful, explained my options.
The last time I saw Dr Glassman was in 2007 and I returned today to have a mole removed. I was thoroughly impressed once again with his attentiveness and his staff. I would recommend allowing a couple of extra minutes for parking as the building the office is in is very busy.
Dr. Glassman was fine, but the wait -- one hour and twenty minutes -- was absurd for a 5 minute appointment. The office must come up with a better, more efficient system. Patients value their time, too.
it was terrible - such bad patient care - ive been to a lot of doctors in my time and never have i come across one like Glassman. I waited for over an hour and he spoke to me for literally less than 5 minutes. Perhaps he did know what was going on that easily but when I tried to ask questions he brushed me off and was basically walking out the door as I was trying to talk to him. It was incredibly rude and insensitive. Thank god i have another option for a dermatologist because I never plan on going back here.
The consultation was extremely brief; other than a biopsy, no educational information exchanged during this initial consult.
Very friendly, quick, concerned and knowledgable. Even though there was a little bit of a wait it was well worth it. Overall a fantastic visit. If I am ever in need of dermatological services I will be back.
He was great! He was very nice and friendly. Only bad thing I would say is that I felt a bit rushed :(
Waste of time, consultation wasn't informative. Long wait.
Other then the wait the visit was quite professional. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was pleased with the immediate referral to my pharmacy for several Rx. I found Dr. Glassman online after calling 17 other dermatologist for an emergency referral. I will continue to utilize his services after my two other dermatologist said they could see me sometime in October 2012.
Dr. Glassman was very professional and pleasant, and most importantly, did a very thorough exam of my body. I fully expect to use Dr. Glassman for my yearly checkup in the future.
Excellent - professional staff and Dr. Glassman was informative and thorough.
Charming office staff supports this very excellent professional Doctor who put me completely at ease within seconds on my first visit. He knew within seconds what my ailment was and took care of it within minutes. I am going back to remove other stuff. I definite recommend. Worth the wait.
Dr. Glassman was nice enough. It was a busy day and he didn't spend anymore time than necessary with me. Had to wait 1/2 hour past my appointment time to be seen, but once they called me back it went quick.
The waiting room was very crowded. Unhappy with the wait time.
I had to wait for an hour and a half after the scheduled time for my appointment.
He is very professional and good at what he does. He gets you in and out of the office quickly but the 50 minute wait to get in to see him is longer than most doctors I've seen.
It was very busy but organized. Due to being a new patient and seeing how nice everyone was treated, the service was good and I am glad i found a good Dermatogist!
Visit could not have been better.
People whose appointments were before mine mentioned that they had been waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes... I waited 15 mins in the waiting room, then another 25 mins in an exam room before the doctor came in. He spent less than 3 minutes with me, kept his arms folded the entire time, and never even looked at the mole I mentioned to his assistant earlier.
Dr. Glassman was exactly what I expected from his reviews and I was extremely pleased. The office staff was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The doctor didn't keep me waiting, knew exactly what to do when he saw me, and made sure I understood what the problem was and the treatment. Couldn't have been a smoother or easier appointment!
Dr. Glassman is pleasant and an excellent physician.
I liked Dr. Glassman a lot; wish the wait time in the waiting room wasn't so long (45 min).
Dr. Glassman does a great job of managing his practice. You never feel like you are being neglected.
He is very efficient, very friendly and is willing to take the time to answer any and all questions that you have.
No finer dermatologist anywhere - also Dr. McKitty is awesome - great practice - great staff too! I have referred to many people already!
I was very impressed with the upbeat, professional demeanor of the staff and Dr Glassman. Their efficiency was displayed by effective utilization of the media to obtain medical history and appointment data. Dr Glassman gleaned the medical history and "Hit the ground running." He evaluated three items of interest, provided care, and ensured my concerns were met.
Dr. Glassman was great. The staff was wonderful
While the total wait time was more than 30 minutes, it includes filling out paperwork since it was my first visit. Also, the appointment thru ZocDoc didn't register in their system but they took me anyway. The doc was nice and thorough.
I AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE MET HIM AND TO BE A PATIENT OF HIS.
The wait was over and hour. When the Dr came in he apologized but then gave me less than four minutes if his time. While he was professional, it felt very impersonal. He didn't explain the cause of my condition, the expected outcome of treatment. I was very disappointed with this visit. I will not go back and see this guy. It's as if he cut my appointment short to make up for his being so behind. If you see te physician, I would recommend preparing a list of questions you want addressed in the appointment. as the
Overall not bad. The waiting room was super packed. Very claustrophobic.
Waited over an hour, saw the doctor for less than 4 minutes. Assistant also wrote down wrong over the counter prescription for skin care.
I was very nervous when I got to the office but the Doctor talked to me and helped to calm my fears. I now know why my Primary Care Dr. recommended your office.
Dr. Glassman gave me great information and answered all my questions. He was courteous and attentive.
Dr. Glassman is very thorough but I always have to wait to see him. The waiting room was very full including crying babies!
The doctor and his assistant were both a little impersonal, but professional enough for me not to care.
Very professional and competent
I was brought in right at my appointment time, saw the doctor, and was out in a little over 1/2 hour. Very efficient and thorough. I also liked that the intake paperwork is all online so that I could complete it before I got there.
Dr. Glassman was great. He was quick and efficient but also thorough. The assistant was also very pleasant. I did not have to wait long to be seen.
very busy practice but wait time did not reflect so, only about 12_15 min our so. Dr. was good but a little indecisive, let me make the call on the prescription but I didn't know too much about it. overall it meet my needs
I waited over an hour with my 15months little girl. Dr Glassman spent less than 3 minutes. with us. I will never go back there again. 3 whole minutes that includes him giving us a prescription.
very dessapointed,he did not take the time to explain and tell me the couse of the problem of my child.it took him less than a minute to determinate and prescribe the medication.I will not visit his office again.
I was vey lucky to get the chance to see him. i had been suffering with itching problem mostly on my arms and legs. visited more than two clinics in the last two years but none were as efective as of DR. Bruce. he gave me two types of lotions and within a week time, i am relieved. but the treatment is to continue, i do hope i will give him good news at time of my next appointment.
Dr Glassman is a pleasant doctor who listens to you, has time for a joke and or small talk but still works efficiently to find out the right treatment. He answered all my questions and concerns.
It was fast and effective!
I was very impressed because the very moment that I went to make the appointment, I found ZocDoc and make my appointment there, plus all the paperwork was done on the web before I went. I expressed to Dr. Glassman how great that was.
Very nice but I got there on time and had to wait over an hour.
Dr. Glassman was professional and knowledgable. His bedside manner was not the greatest and he did not take his time with me.
I was astonished by the extremely long waits, low standard of care, and blatantly money-grubbing behavior of this doctor, at the expense of patient care. He simply exemplifies the worst of dermatologist behavior, and I would never, ever recommend him.
For all that has been touted about Dr. Glassman, I was extremely disappointed with my visit to his office. After waiting IN the exam room for about 45 minutes, he walked in to greet me with a "what's up." I don't care what age you are or whether you wear an afro, pigtails, or a side-swept chignon, a new patient shouldn't be greeted with a "what's up." You're a doctor, not a barrista. Then during the examination he could hardly be bothered to uncross his arms, let alone examine my skin. For my first time in a dermatologist's office, the whole experience was bizarre. I decided to forgo his half-hearted shoulder-shrugged recommendations and get a second opinion.
He is constantly rushing around. He just wants to see the next patient. He doesn't ask any other questions or make suggestions.
He wasn't in the room more than 2 minutes. Seemed rushed and didn't want to take to time to explain anything. On the other hand, I was able to see him on short notice and the waiting room didn't take long.
There was a glitch with my appointment, but Dr. Glassman and staff 'made it right' and I was seen and out the door in about 1 1/2 hours, having been fit in around the scheduling issue. I thought that was truly outstanding customer service and, of course, Dr. Glassman is just wonderful, informative, professional. I always recommend him enthusiastically.
I have been coming to this practice for years and at this point it is for convenience only. The wait is always long and I am unimpressed w/ Dr. Glassman's bedside manner. If he were not always overbooked, I feel that he could spend more time asking questions to truly understand the best course of action for his patients.
Very friendly doc and staff. They are moving to electronic charting, which is a good thing, but at the moment it means they ask the same medical history questions twice - once on paper, and once in person.
He is a great doctor, did his usual superb work, and I consider myself fortunate to be one of his patients.
he was very good at listening to what i had to say.
was great thank you.
Dr. Glassman is highly competent. Thorough, professional, and a pleasaant bedside manner. There is usually a half hour wait to see him, but I attribute that to his excellent reputation and the fact that he is a Blue Cross preferred provider, so most of the cost of the visit is covered.
