Patient reviews for Dr. Bruce Glassman
Dr. Glassman was awesome!
The new office is really modern and nice. I was in and out in 20 minutes which I appreciated so I could get back to work. The staff are friendly and helpful and the PAs are awesome!! I I highly recommend.
First time patient. Quickly seen and thoroughly examined. Great communication!
It was amazing, super short wait time. Very friendly staff and the doctor was amazing! Very helpful and open to my questions.
Excellent and efficient service in the waiting room, in the examination room and in checkout. Wonderful treatment at every point in the process. Excellent!!!
As always, every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. I was seen right at the scheduled time of my appointment with no wait. They answered all my questions, and I did not feel rushed.
He took care of business quickly, unfortunately it took almost an hour to be seen. Come prepared to wait!
Received clear, quick and effective treatment.
Short and efficient! Good experience.
Fast and thorough. Was treated on the spot during my consultation. Answered all my questions.
His colleagues seen me and were very passionate about my needs and were able to help with out fuss
Had contacted my email for the cancellation I tried but couldn’t do over the APP
The waiting time is to long. The assistants are not helpful.
The wait time has decreased tremendously from what it was like a few years ago. I didn't have to wait long at all. Dr. Glassman is very thorough with a body check. He found a suspicious area that I had not noticed.
I waited 2 hours to be seen and I saw a whole bunch of people whose appointment were after me, seen before I was. The dermatologist took 2 minutes to see me and that was it. I do not recommend this place. It was a waste of my time and money.
Kind and professional, great experience.
Professional and personable, took time to listen to the concerns of patient. Would definitely see him again
Much too long a wait time. I waited an hour to be called to the exam room, then waited another 30 minutes before the doctor arrived. Need to manage scheduling much better.
I admit I was a little apprehensive because I saw a lot of negative comments about Dr. Glassman on such sites as healthgrades.com But I must say he was friendly and professional, and he diagnosed the cyst on my neck right away. The wait for him to come back was around thirty minutes, but this was understandable since my surgery to remove the cyst was not scheduled and he had a lot of patients (when I left there were around thirty people in the waiting area). The surgery was done in 5-10 minutes, and I was on my way.
Wonderful! Came in with a complaint about a rash that had been bothering me for weeks. He prescribed a cream that eliminated it after only 1 use.
Great staff, very short wait time. Pleasant and helpful doctor!
Waited for an hour then doctor spent only 2 minutes with me. And it was my first visit!
Dr. Glassman was fantastic, I couldn't speak too highly of him. The office, however, was extremely crowded. There were 25 (!) people in the waiting room when I arrived, and I didn't get called back until over an hour after my appointment time.
Doctor and nurses were all very friendly and professional. I would definitely give them five stars if it weren't for the wait time. I had initially scheduled an appt for 1:45 and received an email the morning of my appt saying the doctor had rescheduled me for 1:25 That was a little concerning because I had not been contacted by the office and had planned the appointment around my lunch break. I changed my scheduled and arrived at 1:25 but was not taken to a room until 2:50. By the time I left shortly before 3:30 I was well past my lunch break and had had to call a client and cancel an appointment. If it weren't for the very extensive wait time I would have been 100% happy with the service. Dr Glassman was very polite and got me in/out quickly while still acknowledging my concerns.
Waited 1 hour and 45 min. to see Dr.
The wait was very long, but Dr. Glassman was very helpful and the solution to the problem was immediate and effective.
I was astonished by the extremely long waits, low standard of care, and blatantly money-grubbing behavior of this doctor, at the expense of patient care. He simply exemplifies the worst of dermatologist behavior, and I would never, ever recommend him.
I'm a new patient. I didn't know what to expect. He had a busy office, and from what I understand is the norm. But I do see why! He's a great doctor. Despite having a lot of patients to get to, I didn't feel rushed, he took his time to listen to my concerns and gave me the best advice. He was so friendly and nice. I highly recommend him and his staff who were also very friendly. I'll definitely be back to see him if the need arises!
Professional, well-spoken staff. Good doctor. Quickly diagnosed the condition and laid out treatment plan. Highly knowledgeable. Wait time is long due to high demand.
Despite always arriving early and filling out paperwork online, I've never waited less than 25min to be seen, up to 40min.
Over schedules his day - will not wait again for 2 hours !!!
THE WAIT IS ALWAYS AT LEAST ONE HOUR. I OVERHEAD ANOTHER PATIENT SAY SHE AND HER HUSBAND WAITED NEARLY TWO HOURS. IT WOULD BE UNDERSTANDABLE FOR THIS TO OCCUR OCCASIONALLY, BUT IT SEEMS TO BE THE STATUS QUO
Very efficient and took care of my concerns. I do have a follow up appointment in a couple of weeks to find out the results of the tests that are being run.
It reminded me of when I was a "starving student" and got my medical care at government clinics.
Waste of time, consultation wasn't informative. Long wait.
Am always satisfied with the results. The actual time spent with Dr. Glassman leaves a bit to be desired. He's in and out in a matter of just a few minutes - and not a lot of feedback.
No place to park. One hour wait for 3 minutes with the Dr. Did not tell me my diagnosis, I don't know what my 2 RXs are, and why do they have to be filled by Loundoun Pharmacy! This place is the worst.
Dr G was thorough and clear in his assessment. The exam room was hot and in need of maintenance.
Appointment was rushed. Doctor rushed in, minimized my concerns. Told me he wasn't going to give me a prescription because my insurance doesn't cover much "find something otc" and left. Best thing this office has to offer is that it's easy to get an appointment.
He is fine, but the wait was ridiculous.
He was quick to look at my skin and quick to decide on what was the issue with it. Then he prescribed me a skin cream without explaining what exactly is the skin issue, what I could do to prevent it from happening again and was out the door. I waited for a long time to only be looked at for a few minutes and was not pleased with the result and with the visit. Plus, when I went to issue my prescription, I found that it was an extremely expensive cream that I was not able to get it - which made me feel as if the entire visit was worthless. I made the choice to not return again to get another RX and just to be glanced at for a few minutes after waiting for a long time, as well to be left with no explanation.
Huge wait time. Arrived at 9:05 for a 9:15 appointment. Was shown to an examination room at 10:30, and was examined (quickly but thoroughly) at about 11:00. They were having computer problems that day, so this may not be normal.
I was at the office at 8:45 for the 9:15 appointment. Filled out some paper work which was completed before 9:15. There was then a exceedingly long wait to see the Dr. He appeared to be in too much of a hurry, and had to be called back to complete requested work. The office appears to be run a a factory.
I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment to be seen! That is just ridiculous, especially for a dermatology office. Dr. Glassman was nice enough. My other issue is that I needed a full body skin check and he did not warn me that a male medical transcriptionist would be seeing me in the nude the whole time! At least give me a heads up and give me the option to make another appointment or have a female nurse present. Being naked in a small closed room with two men may be someone's idea of a good time-but not me! Then he leaves me alone in the office with the transcription its. Nice enough guy, but I'm in my birthday suit with a total stranger who is not my doctor! !!!! Also, the office was so discombobulated that I couldn't even book a follow up. I just left.
Professional, friendly, thorough and efficient. Highly recommend.
Wanted the copay upfront prior to the visit Waited more than two hours People who arrived an hour or so after me were seen before me Doctor spend no more than 20 seconds with me and prescribed a cream and rushed out
Long waiting and short consultation time.
I feel dermatologist's offices are the place of extremely short appointments unless something is life threatening. Front desk staff didn't really look me in the eye to greet or speak to me, they were glued to their computers. That being said, the wait time was brief and the check-in process was efficient. Due to the high volume of patient's they see, the waiting room is not peaceful at all. I felt extremely cramped. The assistant that took me to the room, wrote down some brief notes regarding my problem but was kind and had an actual conversation with me. A few minutes later, Dr Glassman came in (fully briefed) and he had an quick visit with me, asked what I'd like to do (I'd had this problem before), quickly reviewed a few options and prescribed a medication. This is exactly what I was expecting and done the way I feel it should've been. I'd go back if I need to but hopefully I don't.
