Listened to my problem. Showed concern about helping me.
My experience with Dr. Moucha and his office was great. everyone was attentive to me and Dr. Moucha was a true professional and his manner was very professional and caring.
This is the fourth orthopedic doctor I have gone to over the past 10 years, and I have to say that I am more than pleased with Dr. Moucha. Everything was great from the office to the personnel to the doctor. I have every confidence I am on the right path to recovery.
Highly professional. Extremely clear about possible surgery and recooperation.
very personable and informative, felt trustworthy. well run office.
Dr. Moucha, while certainly knowledgeable, does not take the time to read the medical background of patients, and treats them like widgets on a conveyor belt instead of people with potentially complex backgrounds or medical issues. He has made a conscious decision that patients are not worth listening to regarding their own bodies and does not always make the most appropriate decisions for them-- for me, for example, he did not listen when I indicated that prior orthopedic surgeons had attempted a certain imaging strategy multiple times and it had never worked and that there was an alternative approach they had all independently settled on using; he instead ordered the imaging and I was shuffled around three different times in radiology trying to have the imaging completed, to no avail. He then decided that perhaps after wasting most of one of my afternoons when I needed to be at work on that useless imaging attempt, the approach that the other doctors had used and that I had told him about early on in the process was appropriate and I should go back into radiology to have that done. I understand that as a doctor, Dr. Moucha has significant knowledge and experience that I will never have; however, his insistence that my comments were unreliable or useless resulted in a significant waste of time and resources for myself and for Mt. Sinai.
Everyone at Dr. Moucha's office was professional and friendly. There was a slight delay when I got there and everyone, from the receptionist, to Dr. Moucha's physician's assistant to Dr. Moucha himself offered their apologies. Dr. Moucha took a lot of time with me to explain my condition and my treatment options.
Answered all my questions. Understood my problem and provided choices for treatment options.
Great Doctor and gave excellent advice for other issues that might be the cause for the pain I am feeling and recommended other Doctors for the same. Highly recommended.
He explains everything clearly. Includes me in his decision making and listens.
Dr. Moucha was fabulous. I felt we spent quality time throughout the appointment. He patiently answered my questions and made observations that no other doctor has.
Terrific doctor, thorough, with a hood personality. Great staff as well.
Extremely long wait for very little attention from the physician.
Always a pleasure (although sometimes painful when I'm getting an injection) to see Dr. Moucha. He's efficient, knowledgeable and also a lovely person.
Dr Moucha is a very intelligent and compassionate doctor. He wasn't the exact physician I needed to see for my problem, but he referred me to a colleague right away, pushed for an appointment via email, CCing me, and he sent me for a diagnostic test anyway to take with me to my visit. Great experience!
As always, Dr Moucha was concerned and helpful. It's a pleasure to have an excellent physician who is genuinely pleasant and helpful. He remembers his patients as people and really makes a personal connection. As for his clinical skills - he is top notch!
Dr. Moucha was interested in my problem, very respectful, and explained what was wrong. He did not rush and answered all of my questions.
I liked him very much. He recommended Physical Therapy and didn't rush into anything more serious.
Good visit --
He's the best HIP Doc in the City. if you dont see him for your hip pain, you're going to the minor leagues. Doc Moucha is a rock start and an all star i had hip surgery and i walked out of the hospital in 3 days. I was also back to running 3 miles in 45 days. you may not getthe kind of results i got, but hey, I'm only 68 yrs old :-)
Found Dr. Moucha to be a delight to deal with. He is the epitome of professionalism. He answered all my questions thoroughly.
It couldn't have been better. He diagnosed the problem, took care of it and was the nicest of persons.
As always he was great.
I would see Dr Moucha in a heartbeat, had hip replacement surgery on July 8th and walked, that's right, walked out of the hospital, no cane, no walker, just feet on July 11th. The Doc is amazing. I texted him at 1130pm one night and he responded instantly. The man is a gem, a highly skilled and well respected surgeon by patients and peers and if you need hip or knee replacement; he is the MAN :))))) No ifs, and or butts. And if you go somewhere else, well, you're just crazy!
I was very plased with my vist thats why i came back. My x rays were done right away I was then seen within 5 minutes checked spoken to and injected and on my way within a half hour Just the way an office should run Thank you
A surgeon who's been there (had surgery himself). Makes himself e-mailable and available.
I have a lot of faith and trust in his ability and expertise. And his straight forward manner is very refreshing. If you have a hip problem , go see him. He and his staff are very impressive indeed
Always a GOOD experience. The doctor and staff are top notch in NY and NJ. Professional and courteous!
Wait time was WAY too long! The doc was terrific though.
Had a feeling of confidence but he was quite late and didn't spend much time
Thorough, professional, found things two others had not
Very informative. Personable.
I like him. He was very caring, concerned and decisive
This was my 1st appt and I was very pleased with the staff, they were extremely pleasant and professional. The office atmosphere was very friendly. Dr. Moucha explained what my problem was in full detail and made sure I understood his explanation. I would highly recommend Dr. Moucha to anyone who is looking for Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Moucha took his time with me, I wasn't rushed at all. He answered all my questions and I was very happy at the end of my visit.
Dr. Moucha diagnosed my problem in just a couple of minutes. He had good bedside manner in easing my fears (I worked myself up to the worst possible scenario), which turned out to be something very manageable. He didn't push for a treatment one way or another, just offered the results of previous patients, and let me decide. I've already told a couple of my colleagues about my experience, and they took Dr. Moucha's name for their own consultations.
Very good. Didn't waste time. Got straight to the point.
I love Dr. Mouha. He performed a very difficult reconstruction of my right femur that subsequently healed with good results. He is professional and caring. I highly recommend him!
Very professional, knowledgeble, smart
so far so good!
I got appointment right away and was seen right away. Dr. Moucha seems to know what he is talking about. I especially appreciate that he did not "push" surgery.
Very informative and helpful
Very good. To the point and professional. Got some good advice and a cortisone shot.
I was impressed by the amount of time the doctor spent answering all of my questions and alleviating my concerns.
