Didn’t seem like she cared
The staff is absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately I’ve never waited less than 2 hours for a 20 minute appointment in which I’ve had to ask for clarification and what next steps need to be taken.
Personally, I didn't like my visit there. The staff was very polite and attentive. They even offer you coffee and tea but the doctor I saw, awful! She was very quick to just give me a prescription without listening to my concerns. I felt I was being rush plus she's not organized. Her personal stuff like her sweater, bag and jacket were all over the floor. I didn't like that!
Seems like a scam type operation to me. Plenty of blood pressure temperature etc. Finally saw the doctor on second appointment where I was told I would need some other tests, not at the facility. Did not return. Very disappointed in this practice
The Doctor, physician, and nurse were great it's just the receptionist were very nasty and rude and unkind, unprofessional. If I really did not need their services I would never go back.
First time I met with her was a follow up. I had told her my symptoms and her reply was "Well - What can I do for you then?" How about help me. She brought me in for the follow up to go over test results. I had no tests done. It was a waste of time. I got the various tests done and was told to come in two weeks later. Came in for the second follow up and waited over an hour. Three other patients were waiting for her while she was doing who know's what. Probably eating lunch as the appointment was during lunch hours. I had to leave to get back to work after waiting an hour. I wouldn't go as the whole process was pretty much a waste of time. Her staff is very nice though.
She spoke using medical terms beyond my Grey's Anatomy education level. Not very personable. This practice has VERY nice desk staff which tricked me into thinking this was a great place to go. Every appt I had took around 2 hours, with lots of waiting. A ton of tests were ordered without any heads up about what they would cost me out of pocket which is more an issue with my insurance but it would be nice if they helped navigate that. I'm not sure how a non-medical professional with health insurance is supposed to know they're racking up a hefty bill by just doing what the doctor asks.
love the team great service
Amazing staff, very professional and courteous. Even offered us coffee and cookies! pretty impressive!
Dr. Cottrol was not in today however the staff was awesome!!!!!
SHE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISORGANIZED. SHE ALWAYS MESSES UP MY PRESCRIPTION ORDER.
She explain everything and made me feel very good about how she was going to help me with my medical issue.
She was nice and made me feel comfortable
Great office, I didn't have to wait at all. The front desk staff were all nice and the internist that I saw was very energetic and really cared about me. The nurse was also very nice. The entire staff was great.
I really like Dr. Cottrol, and the waitstaff is always so lovely to work with.
A wonderful physician, she addressed all my concerns ansd listened. I feel confident in her recommended treatment plan.
Took and answered several texts while she was talking/examining me. Wanted to be my PCP (I already have one whom I love) and had me take several tests in her office before I could see the neurologist,. which is why I was there. I paid my copays (before the tests are taken) but one test was not accepted by my insurance company as they claimed that it was not an accepted test. Now I have a large bill waiting for me.
I had to wait 5 hours to see her for 5 minutes. She was taken out of another patients room by a nurse at the facility, mid exam, to see me and was very rude. She basically had me do a field sobriety type test and then told me to book a follow-up. didn't answer any questions.
Super helpful and understanding of my needs,
Very professional nice people! Also the office is very clean, awesome music, coffee and cookies in the waiting area. Doctors and nurses are extremely nice and friendly. I enjoy being here)
My visit to Dr. C. Cottrol was very successful, doctor was very attentive all listened to and appointed treatment, showing high professional skills Also gave many tips I live in Brooklyn but without any doubts prefer to see doctor Cottrol in Manhattan Highly recommend this doctor
Dr. Cottrol is very personable and takes her time to find out what was ailing me. She is my permanent neurologist and so glad I chose her.
Scheduled this with a 3 week old migraine. Arrived, took 2 hours to be triage to only see an internist who prescribed meds I failed out of and another antidepressant... after I explained I wanted to steer AWAY from taking more medications. Terrible practice, incredibly through in relation to modern electronics but they are unorganized and overbooked the provider to the point that a man was following her knocking on the exam room doors continuously telling her she's late and has other patients waiting. Complete mess.
She was very business like. No small talk, straight away to questions relatig to visit.
All the doctors were very nice and personable, but I had to wait a long time between blood tests and other testing. I was there over 3 hours!
I enjoyed this clinic very clean and they use modern technology. They were very thorough. Everybody there addressed me by my name and were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the cinnamon buns and option to drink coffee or tea while you waited. The wait time was very short. I did spend a long time there but that was because I had to do multiple tests. Which was a benefit since I didn't have to go to numerous different locations to get them all done. I would recommend this location to new patients.
Came in for help since I thought I may have been concussed and wanted help ASAP. She had a slow, lethargic manner, and was not helpful in the least. Ended up going to the NYU Concussion Center later in the week because I learned nothing from the appointment. She seemed credible based on her background and reviews, and I was sorely disappointed.
