Dr. Ladd's review of my medical history and his exam was generally very thorough although I had to remind him to check my scalp for any sign of abnormal skin growths. My previous dermatologist in Denver emphasized this area which iswhy I was sensitive to it plus the fact that I had recently undergone radiation treatment for head/neck cancer. The nurse practitioners were very professional in taking biopsy samples for lab analysis. One glitch in the ZocDoc service that allows you to submit your medical info is the fact that this does not automatically get entered into the physician's computer system. The nurses had to manually enter much of the info.

I was not truly happy about the online appointment software. I made an appointment, but I really didn't. Also, I filled out several forms online with ZocDoc, but the office assistants said I had not. So, I had to fill outthe forms again on paper. I did like the doctor and nurses. They were very professional and caring.

I wasn't seen by Dr. Ladd except for my first visit, which was an enjoyable visit. The other visits I talked to other dermatologists there but felt like I was rushed in and out. Very few of my questions answered anda prescription for some pill or ointment in my hand.

I like Dr Ladd but I am getting really tired of waiting so long before I am seen. Every time I come in its usually over an hour before I am actually seen by him, and that's after having to askhow much longer it will be. Dr Ladd is very nice & professional but I felt his time with me was a little rushed as well. I am considering finding someone else.

The "wait time" was the problem...had a 3:45 pm appt. & didn't get called back to a room until 4:30 pm. I realize this happens with doctor's appointments, but I picked my son up right after school in Schulenburg (20 mi.away) & rushed over to make it there in time only to sit there 45 min. waiting. The waiting room was pretty full, so maybe they overbooked appts. I had hoped to be out of the clinic around 4:30 pm to swing by the branch of the bank I work for...Thel ady behind the desk apologized for the wait & said they were a little short-staffed today, & apologized again when we were checking out. Sat in clinic room about another 10-15 minutes. Dr. Ladd was nice & took ample time to look at my son's problem. If it gets "cleared up" I'll be happy, despite the long wait. Although our next appt. is with the PA as Dr. Ladd won't be back in LG until April 3rd & he said my son should come back in 2 weeks. Again, I realize Dr. appts. often result in long waits...I would give a high rating to those who can stick a little closer to scheduled appt. times...although, I'd rather have a Dr. who "takes their time" in diagnosing the problem, even if that means running behind schedule...as opposed to "rushing thru appts" just to "be on schedule".
