My appointment went well...he is a very caring doctor...and he listens!
Dr Savarino was very gentle, patient and understanding of my problem. He is very intelligent and honest. Will be returning to him again.
The visit was great, there was no wait and Dr. Savarino was very helpful in treating my condition.
Staff is coached to "milk" anyone who comes through the door. They gave my an ultimatum to give a credit card or leave. My cash copay was not accepted. Staff is rude, there's confusion as to who's making an appointment or doing anything, too many people in scrubs just hanging out ...just too much going on. The doctor was very eager to perform surgery and have me do the MRI onsite... no other comment. I guess someone has to pay for the Starbucks super deluxe coffee machine in the waiting area.*****No Hippocratic oath here..... it's all about the money and that's very sad!****** They will rob you blind by charging your credit card without permission. People BEWARE!
Dr. Dan is the best!
Dr. Savarino is a kind and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to look at your injury and help you understand how to heal quickly and get you back on your feet again. His bedside manner is excellent and you feel a sense of genuine kindness coming from him.
It was a long wait (35 minutes), but the on-site x-ray allowed them to make a quick diagnosis and I was out of there 25 minutes after initially being seen, with an appointment for physical therapy for the following day.
I came in with horrible punishing pain, I left feeling much better with consideritly less pain and a course of treatment. I am so happy a family member recommended the doctor to me.
Prompt professional and good with patient ... Highly recommend
Always pleasant and professional.
I had a great time with the office, everyone was friendly, efficient and helpful. My one thing was that the door to the office had a turn handle which was hard to open when on crutches. Recommendation - bring prior x-rays if necessary. I couldn't get a hold of mine in time. Conveniently, the NYU Langorne office is right downstairs and they sent me there for quick x-rays but that office was not as friendly or helpful as Dr. Savarino's.
Dr. Savarino is an approachable knowledgeable, easy-going doc. Spends time to do assessment, explain and answer questions. Office staff is also very pleasant, easy to deal with and appears to run smoothly. Seen within 15 min of appt time. Highly recommend.
First, the 111 Broadway office is in a beautiful building close to multiple subways. Second, the medical assistants were great. They were friendly and got me set up quickly. Third, Dr. Savarino was so nice and professional, was able to diagnose my ailment quickly and did a great job of explaining what was wrong with my shoulder and how to fix it. I was in and out of the office in less than one hour and that includes filling out new patient forms. I would highly recommend Dr. Savarino.
The Dr. Daniel is very knowledgeable. He told me the cause of pain and suggested next steps. The medical assistant was little unprofessional. She called me two hours prior to appointment to tell me that I would need to get the x-ray done for my body part and doctor normally doesn't see anyone without x-ray. I did get the x-ray done and doctor found that the x-ray was not relevant to my pain and suggested x-ray for different body part. I should not have had to get the x-ray in rush before seeing a doctor as suggested by the assistant. Doctor himself was very quick in terms of the diagnosis and next steps. I was satisfied with the doctor's recommendation.
Excellent. Very pleasant. Very clean office. Serred coffee.
I thought very highly of him, very personable, and pleasant.
My wait time was minimal. A plus was fresh coffee in the waiting room. Knowledgable, straight forward, up to date thinking doctor. He appreciates your time, but has the interest to listen to the patient in order to understand the reason you made an appointment. I like that treatment options and results were discussed, my questions answered clearly.
