Thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, and personable. I would highly recommend.
Great visit, clearly is an expert and very professional!
very brief, but not bad
It's a busy office but I did not feel rushed and he took the time to answer all my questions. He specializes in Mohs surgery and has the reputation of being one of the best in the country. Highly recommended. However, allow extra time if it's your first visit - they don't get any info from ZocDoc -- they give you a very old-fashioned "tablet" to type in your information - it is slow and very clunky. Took me 20 minutes to do what I could have done in 3.
wait time was too long. a 10:45 appointment taken at noon is really bad! I make another appointment with a doctor at l PM and was late for that because of it. My whole day spent between 2 doctor's appointments-not good! Angela
Wonderful experience with Dr. Kriegel! He took time to listen to my needs and explained the best form of treatment. Will definitely be back!
Dr. Kriegel was friendly, professional, prompt and obviously knowledgeable. While I can't say I *enjoyed* the visit -- as I was having a small growth removed for testing -- it was as good as it could have been. I would happily refer Dr. Kriegel to friends and family.
I was really nervous about a rash, but the doctor is very polite and friendly and put me at ease right away.
He was very professional and was very detailed in addressing all my concerns. Visit was pleasnant and made me feel very confortable. Highly recommended.
He kept me waiting an hour and then spent less than a minute with me. He advised me to come back for a check-up in a few months which is what this visit was meant to be for. I'm not sure if I should criticize this doctor specifically because almost all doctors seem to treat people like this these days. I can't bring myself to give him a good review either be a use I feel so badly treated. If you have all the time in the world to wait, this guy is about as bad as all the others so you may as well go to the one that is closest.
Very professional .!
Outstanding all around ! Polite, professional and caring.
the best dermatologist I ever Had
Since I was the very first patient to be treated at this location, I can't really comment on the wait time or overall efficiency of their office. That said, I found the staff to be knowledgeable and welcoming. Dr Kriegel is an expert in the field (also operates out of NYC) and I strongly encourage anyone in the Westchester area to visit this office if you're in need of top-notch care.
Dr Kriegel was excellent. He took his time and was very thorough and explained what he was doing very well. The office was somewhat disorganized and I had to wait almost 40 minutes after my appointment time despite having arrived 30 minutes early. The staff members that check in the patients were arguing amongst themselves which was awkward for the patients waiting. Overall, I would definitely come back because of Dr Kriegel. It would be nice if the office staff were more organized/professional.
I hold Dr. Kriegel in extremely high regard. He is a consummate professional and very pleasant.
My needs were met in a timely fashion by a knowledgeable doctor who made great recommendations for solving my problem.
Really liked him - did not like the front desk or long wait time.
I will not be going back. I originally scheduled my appointment for 12:20 PM. An unfriendly receptionist called me and asked if I could come in at 11:20 instead. I agreed. I showed up at 11:10 (allowing time to fill out the necessary paperwork). I eventually was seen at 12:30.The receptionist that was assigned to Dr. Kreigel was rude and was unapologetic. I understand that doctors run late, but I expect the staff to show a little bit of consideration and courtesy. The doctor (Kriegel) spent a total of 5 minutes with me. I felt rushed and he brushed off my questions making me feel as if it was a burden that I was there. The office obviously does not care about keeping new patients. I do not understand how this office was featured in NY Magazine.
Dr. Kriegel had an excellent bedside manner and was very easy to talk to. The wait was a bit rough - right around an hour for a very brief appointment - but I'll be going back to see him again regardless.
Dr. Kriegel was very professional, efficient, warm and approachable. The office was very busy but the process was clear and easy to complete.
The office could get themselves a little more organized with information and don't really need to be carrying on personal conversations for the 6 or so people in the waiting room to here (if I have been a patient there for some time and visited 6 months ago, why should I have to write my credit card info including the security code again and why should I have to fill out the form again about my lack of interest in having botox, leg veins treated, etc). Other than that, pretty good.
Efficient service at front desk Dr. Kriegel was personable and a good listener. He did not appear to be rushed. He went out of his way to assist me.
Dr. Kriegel has a calm, gentle demeanor. Thankfully, he doesn't insinuate I should inject my face with any kind of plumping elements, but I'm sure would be detailed in his explanation should I inquire about this. In addition, he biopsied a suspicious mark on my arm that another doctor disregarded. I felt this was very thorough on his part.
The doctor was great... But I waited over an hour in the middle of the workday, which is just not acceptable.
Switched from my previous doc to Dr. Kriegel, and couldn't be more happy. Understood exactly what I needed, and gave a great breakdown of every option available. He's a smart doc with good conversation... highly recommend.
Dr Kriegel - excellent. Billing department - terrible. Bad customer service, does not care about what you are trying to do/communicate, only cares that you pay up. Even tried to charge my stored credit card without my consent. If I wasn't a big fan of Dr Kriegel I would've switched doctors immediately. The guy in billing should be fired.
Very kind and made you feel at ease with out judgement
Had complete confidence in Dr Kriegel. He had the opportunity to suggest expensive alternatives that I probably did not need but he did not. Just gave great, informed medical advice. I would go back to him for any dermatological issue, medical or cosmetic. Office staff was also great.
Great- he's a great listener!
Very kind and friendly and I feel very comfortable talking about my concerns.
Dr. Kriegel seemed very professional, thorough and caring. I higly recommend him.
Dr. Kriegel and his staff were fantastic. It was the first time I had been there, so I didn't really know what to expect. The receptionist and nurses/assistants were really nice and warm -- pleasant experience. Dr. Kriegel was kind, patient, and actually listened. He was really great with answering follow-up questions, providing prescriptions that actually fit my lifestyle, and making helpful suggestions (both medical and non-medical). After my appointment, I had a follow-up question about a prescription and was able to speak to someone immediately for clarification -- no interminable wait for a phone call that never came, but a live person providing helpful answers. All in all, a great experience I cannot say enough about. I'm so thrilled to have found a great dermatologist in the city! -- Ndidi, NY, NY
I was very satisfied with my visit.
I feel very hopeful that the creams along with the self care I have learned from my research on the Internet are going to work to eliminate my foot fungus so that I will not need anymore painful toenail surgery.
The doctor was attentive and answered all my questions
Dr. Kriegel seemed very knowledgeable and caring. He took a genuine interest in my condition and sought ways to help me get more comfortable. My only complaint is that his office is very busy and it took me about 20 minutes to see the receptionist to hand in my insurance card--she was too busy answering phones!
I had an appointment with Dr. Santhouse instead. She was very professional and gave me all of my options. She was calm and personable. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Very professional and nice demeanor. Seen many dermatologists and think he deserves to be in TOP DOCS NYC .
Thorough and very nice, but all business.
Whe I got there the 1:00pm appts for This Dr were complaining of the waiting time - It took me 1:45 before I was placed in the examination room - Then another 20 minutes until a newly hired assistant started asking me questions, which she was not throrough about - The doctor had to apologize for this lateness - The entire consultation + waiting time was 2.5 hours. Not convenient at all to make use of this service, if any appointments made and confirmed by the doctor's office are NOT KEPT by the Doctor.
Definitely a pro-- but definitely all business. I would say I was in and out of consultation in under ten minutes-- he checked me out, answered one or two questions, then basically told me to have a nice day. Made it clear he was done and wasn't interested in whether I had more questions, concerns, etc. Not ideal, but my basic needs were still met. If you have more than one issue to discuss, expect to make more than one appointment (and pay more than one co-pay.)
professional, courteous, knowledgeable...
very professional and helpful
So far so good. He took the time to listen to me.
the dr. was very nice and got straight the point of why I was there...Good listener!
I waited for two hours before I was seen. The receptionists are not helpful or friendly. Dr. is nice, but the staff is awful.
