Overall not a bad visit,Dot is a very good assistant
I would not recommend this doctor to anyone who doesn't have more than two hours to waste seeing an eye doctor. After getting called in, I found the doctor to be very nonchalant, disconnected and kinda disinterested. During the examination, he asked little to no questions. Then he started to put drops in my eyes without asking.....how did you get here? are you driving? did someone accompany you? When I asked him what he was putting into my eyes, he dryly replied, "Drops to numb your eyes." I asked would they prevent me from driving and he said, "No, but the second drop will." I was kinda shocked that he would not ask me how I arrived or alert me to what he was putting into my eyes, especially since the drops would impair my vision for a few hours, before he did so! Scary! It was like I wasn't even there. He behaved robotically and anestetically. I even noticed that several old patients were called before me although I was there at least an hour before them. When I asked about it, I was told that their situations were different! When the doctor realized I found him through ZocDoc he told me that I would have been seen 20 minutes after I arrived IF I had told the receptionist. Yet, when I was making my an appointment to have my eyes dialated, which of course I did not keep!, I asked the same receptionist if I would have to wait and she said, "Yes, at least an half hour!" When I told her what the doctor said about being a ZocDoc referred patient and not having to wait she said, "Yeah, right! There's gonna be a wait miss!" This was my experience. You can go and have yours but I would never go to this doctor again and I would not recommend anyone to go!
Excellent staff. Professional and thorough examination. Detailed information. Absolutely would recommend !!!
staff are friendly
Excellent, explained my condition very thoroughly!!!
He was very nice & his staff was also very polite.
Very warm professional reception.
Dr.Soltanpur seemed very aloof and he not ask questions, he just got right into the procedure. I volunteered infomation about how my eyes were feeling but he just seemed to be busy with getting the procedure done before he would give feedback. After the tests he told me I had healthy eyes and that was basically it.I did not leave feeling like he had given me any real feedback or informed advice about what the problem could be. his ofice was very crowded that day, and he seemed to be very busy.
The visit was okay. Alot of people very busy but overal great service.
Relatively went well
Wow! I'm blown away! Great doctor! Knows all his stuff and made sure my eye was as comfortable as it could be. Will highly recommend him to everyone! Thanks doc and thank you ZocDoc
I was examined by Dr. Soltanpour and also his associate Dr. Sandra Hu-Torres, both were extremely thorough and professional. I was impressed to see that the office is equipped to do laser correction, and hear that the doctor specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery. I would recommend this doctor.
