Dr Suley is very personable and attentive. He took the time to get to know me and didn’t rush me in and out. His medial assistant is also super sweet. Very gentle when taking my blood. Great all around.
Very helpful! Highly recommended
Staff very professional. Doctor listened to all my concerns and was able to explain everything to me without feeling rushed.
Good attention to the patient.
Pretty good and nice guy.
The assistants tried to get me to change my appointment because the A/C was broken. I told them I'd be there at my scheduled time, and it worked out, but what a strange request.
Kind staff & helpful!
Everyone here is very friendly & attentive! Dr. Suley was helpful & answered all of my questions. I definitely recommend!
Dr. Suley was wonderful. Super knowledgeable, personable, and fast. I'm definitely going back.
He was very nice man he was very informative and he explained what we need to understand I love his customer service the staff was very nice as well
He's personable and cares.
Very friendly guy, helpful and listened to my questions
Dr. Suley was wonderful and spent a lot of me. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. The nurse was also very caring and did a great job. The young girl at the desk was very unapproachable and didn't want to help me, but she can be overlooked. I'll be visiting Dr. Suley in the future!
all i will say is that Dr. Elhan Suley is the best Doctor that i ever had .... . I highly recommend to everyone ! Thanks Doctor for everything that you do for me . Also the staff is awesome also , i love the fast service . Dr. Suley really takes his time and explains everything to me and my wife, Also if it wasnt for Dr. Suley i would not be around.
He was really great and knowledgeable, but the wait was way too long.
Very friendly and helpful
I went there to do my blood test because I wanted to see my blood work for my pregnancy. I did not have any illness or disease so my visit was very short. I liked that I could complete the paperwork online in advance. The from desk person was pleasant and efficient. The doctors assistant is also very lovely. She speaks Russian. She was professional and accommodating. She also takes blood beautifully, no pain! I appreciated that. The doctor was polite. He asked me all the right questions and congratulated me with my baby. The whole process took less than 30 min (excluding the waiting room).
Horrible office and the receptionist is very rude.
It didnt start on time which caused a bit of an issue at my work. Great service by the PCP that I saw!
They lied about informing me they suddenly went out of network, which wasted a day i had to take off of work for an appt. Hadn't seen the doctor in about 9 months either, mostly his PA (she is great, BTW). Front desk staff is rude. I once asked to have one of the line items on a bill explained to me and they gave me a really hard time.
The doctor did not provide blood work results that I had requested. Wait time is regularly 45-60 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. A receptionist in this office is rude, has a negative attitude, and is ineffective at offering solutions or helpful information to basic questions. Would not recommend this office to anyone.
She is great '
This was a waste of time. Unprofessional and unclean office. I went in for illness and waited 2.5 hours to see a doctor. They didnt even tell me the Doctor wasnt in yet until Id been waiting for an hour. "Traffic". It wasnt rush hour. After I finally got into an office he offered me treatment without asking me any questions or looking at my chart. While holding a bloody needle from another patient. I walked out. A waste of time and unsanitary conditions.
Great staff, friendly and really helped me get to the bottom of a chronic cough I'd had for 4 months. Also, wasn't shamey when reading me my blood work.
Very friendly and professional.
Not being American I am not fully aware of the various costs associated with various medical services. I would have liked to better understand the costs involved. Additionally I didn't know I was entitled to one free physical each year which would be handy to know. Dr Suley was very friendly, professional and efficient. I would recommend his service to others.
The receptionist staff were helpful and welcoming, as was the assistant who took all of my initial data. Dr Suley was quick and to the point (which I appreciated).
This office primarily caters to the polish community, which is fine. However, unless you speak polish I've noticed some of the staff (not the front desk) barely speak a word to you. Furthermore it seems like some of the people are old friends or something with some of the older people that come in to the office. I infact had my appointment with the aforementioned quiet nurse interrupted maybe 3 times by an elderly Polish woman that popped her head in for a chat. Dr. Suley himself was not bad, and I can understand a medical office will have some hectic days so I'm not going to say this is the worst place in the world. However, it did leave somethign to be desired. It is what it is though, I'm not positive if I'll return.
Very standard doctor visit but I liked doctor Suley. He came in to take a quick look at my swollen ankle and he was very kind. Not the most thorough visit I've ever had, but did the job and got me x rays.
Let me preface this entire review by saying that I am extremely anxious (borderline phobic) about going to the doctor, but I read so many excellent reviews about Dr. Suley that I went into my appointment with 100% confidence (or at least the maximum I could muster.) The receptionist was nice enough, and my wait time was only about 15 minutes after my appointment time. I get escorted back by a blonde nurse who was by no means friendly, which is fine, but since nursing is almost 100% working with other humans, it is helpful if you bring a positive and friendly attitude to put patients at ease. She takes my temperature, height, weight etc. etc. and then brings Dr. Suley in. I was anticipating an opportunity to really connect with a doctor, and from the zocdoc reviews, I felt like I might have a chance to build rapport with somebody who would make me feel more comfortable going to the doctor for regular checkups. Instead he berated me for not going to the doctor more frequently. I tell him about my anxieties, he doesn't care, and I find myself apologizing to him, which is also fine, I get it, I should be more responsible with my annual physicals but as somebody who is frankly irrationally terrified to the point of paralysis regarding all things doctor, it really upset me. Then he insists on full blood work. I had scheduled the appointment to talk about an extremely painful lump in my neck, which Dr. Suley (after peeking into my throat) diagnosed as nasal drip. Before I know it, however, the nurse is rolling up my sleeve with a syringe in hand. I'm assuming that there was some indication of my discomfort at this point because the nurse asked me, do you faint? By now, the situation has surpassed uncomfortable and headed into nightmarish territory. I tell her yes sometimes it's hard for me to get blood drawn, and she, as if so very inconvenienced, sets me down on the examination table, snaps on a tourniquet and goes to town. I have my eyes squeezed shut, my head turned to the wall, breathing heavy, and she calls Dr. Suley over pretty much like, " can you deal with this?" and he tells me to lay down and starts talking to me while the nurse labors over my veins. In this moment, I appreciated Dr. Suley's bedside manner, and eventually they collected several vials of blood. And I go pee in a cup. And that was that. Dr. Suley wasn't even around when I got back from the bathroom. I had no idea what to do for follow up. He told me we were going to do a pap smear, and then I asked the nurse about it she looked at me as if I was crazy. He had mentioned to me a name of a doctor I should see for the pap, but never wrote anything down or provided any follow through. This whole ordeal lasted maybe 15 minutes, I had no chance to ask questions about a few other concerns I had. The next day I called to inquire about my lab results and I was told that I wouldn't hear back for a week. Every other time I've gotten lab work done, I've heard back within 24-48 hours. I was so genuinely hopeful about Dr. Suley, and I rarely feel compelled to write online reviews about anything, but after seeing all the positive feedback, I want potential patients to also hear another side of the story.
I didn't see him-but other doctors were filling in today from the practice and they were very thorough and kind. I will be using them for my basic doctors visits from here on out.
The whole staff was very helpful and helped me understand what tests they would run and how to proceed. It was a pretty basic appointment but they were lovely. Thanks!
Glad that I went there for a regular check up.
Was a long wait time. Doc saw me about 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time.
The best doctor ever
The Doctor saw me very promptly and was kind, professional, and understanding that I had a lot of complicated ideas about what was going on with my skin irritation, and put me at ease.
Good primary care doctor.
He was really nice and straight forward
Dr Suley is the best doctor ever
Excellent bedside manner.
Doctor saw me immediately and was very attentive, knowledgeable and showed genuine concern. The staff was super friendly too!
Simply said, the doctor was great.
Dr. Suley is incredible. Very comfortable to be a patient.
Dr Elhan was great to work with and provided a quick diagnosis. Additionally, he was very pleasant to speak with.
The staff was super friendly but the doctor seemed distracted. Every time I come here I have to wait at least 40 min even though I have an appointment
I am glad that I have chosen Dr. Sully as my primary physician. He is very friendly and it is great that he looks into details. The wait time is long but I suppose it is the result of him taking good amount of time with his patients.
The doctor is always great but if I get an 'appointment' for a set time and don't actually see someone after an hour of waiting in an empty waiting room I will immediately be changing where I go. I can feel terrible doing nothing in my bed, I don't need to be here.
Obviously very busy when I went if (waited 50 minutes, with appointment) but nevertheless, attentive and thorough. Would recommend.
Very kind and comforting.
Most courteous and understanding doctor I've seen in a long time. Very nice guy.
Great! Long wait time but very helpful staff and dr
Ii had a great experience with Dr. sully. Everyone was nice. I was After I filled out the initial paperwork, I was escorted to the Dr. Office. I had my blood pressure taken, then the Dr. Came in he examined me. Sent my prescription right to the drug store. The longest I had to wait was for the food allergy test he gave me. The wait was to see if I had a reaction to anything. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
He was excellent, he ask question, he had patient , and i am glad i founded him. I was able to talk my personal business to him, cause i felt comfortable with him. A.S
Dr. Suley and his sister Dr. Suleymani are my favorite doctors I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. I've seen each of them once and would keep seeing them forever if I could! Relaxed, kind, informative, and great senses of humor as well. They made me feel heard, and went above and beyond in their level of care. It was a really long wait (over an hour) because apparently a previous patient had fainted, but fortunately I had the time and wasn't in a huge rush. I wouldn't like to wait that long every time I had an appointment, but it was worth it to be able to see them. They spent as much time with me as needed, I never felt rushed or dismissed, and they both cheerfully filled out the pile of paperwork I had brought them (I'm entering grad school and need a bunch of doctor's signatures on immunization forms). The receptionist called my insurance provider to make sure everything I needed to have done would be covered in full, which no one has ever done for me before. I highly recommend both Drs. Suley and Suleymani.
My visit was very quick, straight to the point and helpful. They wasted no time and took care of me right away. The receptionist was very helpful as well.
Very thourough and friendly!
I dont have insurance and try pay cash for my visit .spend almost one hour in waiting room with so painful spine and nursery tell me to go for emergency! I call to another doctor who gives me medicine and its help me a lot! Don't recommend this place for anyone!!
I loved the Doctor but the office was VERY VERY busy today. My appt was at 11:15 and was not seen until 12:05pm only because I told them that I needed to leave to work if I was not seen asap. Their credit Card machine didnt work and I didnt get a receipt for my visit. Overall though I really enjoyed meeting with the doctor!
Did not meet with Dr. Suley but the Dr. I did see was nice
I am so glad I found Dr. Suley, he is the man. He remembers my history, asks questions and actually listens. It's nice to have a doctor who treats his patients like capable humans. Plus, waiting room snacks! And his nurse Mira is just the sweetest.
I went for a physical, and expected a thorough exam. But it only lasted 10 minutes. I felt very rushed. The doctor had limited questions for me, and there was little information on what would happen after my blood work results came back to the office. I also waited for nearly 45 minutes in the waiting room. Overall, I will not return to this center for further treatment.
Great. Helped out quite a bit!
This is my grandmother's primary care team. Dr. Suley and his team are kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Their office hours are very flexible, and they have even accommodated us last minute for appointments. The doctors are also easily reachable by phone, in case of any questions or concerns.
I was a bit thrown off at first because everyone was speaking polish in the waiting room, but Dr. Suley and his staff quickly switched to english when engaging with me and put me to ease. A very nice man and a thorough doctor.
GREAT SERVICE AND EVERYONE IS PLEASENT AND NICE
I will not go back to this doctor.
The doctor, nurse and receptionist was very nice !! Would highly recommend
Receptionists are a bit rude and don't speak English well.
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Very professional, astute and clear.
Dr Suley was very attentive and focused on me during my visit. I came in about a bad cold and it was my first visit to his office. During our conversation he seemed to be concerned about my health overall and not just the issue I came in about, which I appreciated. I felt very comfortable with him, he was down to earth and he gave good reasons in laymans terms for all of his recommendations. I got bloodwork done; initially I was a bit nervous due to some of the reviews describing issues drawing blood, especially as my veins are on the smaller side. But the nurse was able to get the necessary blood drawn on the first try which I also appreciated. He definitely feels like a family oriented doctor that you can build a long lasting relationship with.
Very thorough, good, friendly and polite.
Everyone was extremely nice from the receptionist, nurse, and especially the doctor. Very smart and open to answer any and every question I had.
Great general visit with the doc. Genuine person with a lot of knowledge. Recommended.
really nice guy and the staff overall was very friendly. the office itself could use an upgrade, but everybody was very pro and the appointment went smoothly.
This has to be the worst doctor's visit I've ever been to. The level of incompetence here was absolutely ridiculous. From waiting for 56 minutes before anyone ever even took my blood pressure, to a 'nurse' who didn't speak enough English to actually tell me what my blood pressure levels actually meant, to the doctor who, during a physical (which took a maximum of 5 whole minutes?!) was the one who asked me my height and weight bc the nurse never took it. The same nurse, blonde, maybe in her 40s, had a really hard time finding my veins and punctured both my arms several times before hitting anything,... at this point i almost passed out, which has NEVER happened to me before. They also tried to tell me that I owed them money when I know for a fact that my insurance covers an annual physical, when I brought this up, the woman just said "oh okay," so make sure you know what's covered. Awful from start to finish.
Dr. Suley is wonderful. He showed concern for me in regards to a previous illness and is a conscientious doctor.
Dr. Suleymani (the lady doc) was very pleasant and very helpful. Her bedside manner was accommodating and she treated me immediately. The staff was also nice.
I had a long wait (it was my first visit) but the doctor was helpful once I saw her.
I've been back to the office twice after my initial appointment; long story short: I've decided to cut my losses and find another doctor. A breakdown of my experience: - For my first appointment I never even saw Dr. Suley (despite making an appointment with him), I saw some woman doctor. She was capable enough but didn't give me any help with what actually came for. - I walked out of there with three bandaids on since the nurse couldn't find a vein to collect blood. heh. - I made a appointment for a sonogram and showed up for it. Original technician was in a car accident (allegedly) and so they called a different tech, eventually got there 2.5 hours later. I guess this could have happened but from the get go the receptionist didn't seem to fancy my chances of the techs getting there on time. - FINALLY heard from Dr.Suley about a month from my initial appointment! Sonogram results were in and he wants to discuss them. I go in and we spend all of ~10 minutes discussing them before he dismisses the need for further treatment out of hand. I point out that my symptoms have been occurring for nearly two months and he concedes and agrees to investigate further. Very much got the feeling that he is just covering his own behind on this one. -Currently waiting for staff to apply for pre-authorization from insurance for treatment, despite Dr. Suley asking them to start the process while I was there in person a week ago. I called about it and of course she was just about to start and had my chart right in front of her. How convenient!
It is very seldom that all the best things are all wrapped up in one person, The professional attitude of the staff, the punctuality of the appointment time, the bed side manner and a wonderful personality of the doctor. The professional attitude and time which was spent with me to listen to my every concern and not look at the watch, is not a quality one sees very often . All I can say, I will never go to another office again. They have all the specialists in one place.
Hands down the best experience in a doctor's office in NYC. They are willing to help and speak to you like a human which is very unusual. Patient for life.
I was told they did not accept my insurance and so had to fork over cash out-of-pocket, which I found sketchy. Dr. Suley was professional if seemingly uninterested and not particularly courteous. The rest of the office staff wasn't rude, but certainly didn't win me over. There was an additional problem with my insurance at the diagnostic center they sent me to for blood work and Dr. Suley's office never contacted me. I haven't heard from them since. Altogether unsatisfactory.
With only living in the city not much longer than a year, it's been hard finding a good doctor. My visit with Elhan Suley was great. He did tests and seemed like he really cared for my health unlike most doctors I've visited. Only negative feedback I can give is that his staff was not as friendly. A lot of grumpiness and nasty looks from nurses and the receptionist.
The doctor is really nice, kind and has a sense of humor. He listens to everything you have to say and tries to help. Just what a great doctor should do. Highly recommended!
He was great. He listened, and answered all of my questions. I will definitely visit his office again.
At first I enjoyed coming here at first. But eventually the nurse poked around in my arm until she eventually poked something, I felt light headed soon after and then they checked my pulse after noticing my reaction. My heart beat drop so fast to 37. Since the nurse poked around, I've experienced some pain in my arm. I have to find another PC.
Everything was great.
Great doctor !!!
Great experience, would go back.
I had a very pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I waited 10 minutes to see the doctor, which most other offices was over 20 minutes. The doctor took the time and addressed all of my concerns. I would definitely recommend the doctor to family and friends and am planning on coming back in the future.
It was ok, he made a couple of offhand sexist comments but he's very friendly and took me seriously enough
Only go here if you need a same day appoitment and have no other options.
It was my first time visiting and they were super nice and helpful!
Within 15 minutes of completing the forms for new patients I was called into the office for blood pressure check and immediately after I was see by the doctor. All of the staff members as well as the doctor were very nice and friendly.
DO NOT GO TO DR SULEY!!! He is by far the worst, terse, unaccommodating doctor I have EVER visited. His staff was equally rude, emotionless and void of bedside manner. All of the office signs are in Russian (which is totally fine) but they wouldn't explain a thing about their policies, accepted insurance, paper work, etc. I am very easy going and this was just a startlingly awful Doctor. Awful, awful, awful.
The doctor is fine, nothing particular to say. But the administrative staff was very unpleasant. I had filled in the medical forms on ZocDoc to avoid having to do it at the office. The lady told me they didn't receive it. I'm sure she just didn't want or didn't know how to look - she didn't even bother to look at a computer. After I filled a really big form, another assistant came and gave me a new copy to fill in, telling me that the other one was not the right one. But later the first assistant came and said I had filled in the right form after all, she had just misplaced it. Next, the second one explained to me that it's not sure I can see the doctor since I have another GP. I told her my insurance plan doesn't require a GP but apparently she knew better. She told me I should go to the Emergencies instead. (for a blister!). She called the insurance which confirmed what I was telling her all along. I've waited for more 1.5 hours even though I had called to confirm the appointment about 2 hours prior my arrival. And to finish this "great" experience, they only take cash, so I had to go out find a bank to get some cash. I'll never go back there again, that's a sure thing.
The doctor was very kind and professional but the wait time was longer than I would have liked given that I filled out my forms in advance.
