Very knowledgeable and extremely professional. Would highly recommend.
My visit was pleasant. The staff was all well mannered and nice. I spent a long time during my visit but I had xrays done during that time, and I think Monday morning is a particularly busy day.
Dr Sugarman was great, seemed knowledgeable and had nice manners. The girl at the reception instead wanted to send me for an X-ray as soon as I got there, before I even spoke to the doctor. I had a problem to my muscle and an X-ray would have been completely useless, so I refused, but she wanted to convince me to take it and when I asked why she didn’t really have an explanation. That was very bad, likely the visit with the doctor was great!
Very Knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the issue with my knee which gave me a better understanding of how I can help the healing process.

The only complain is the wait time. I waited for over an hour plus for my appointment. If appointment time is not meant to be kept then there’s no point of scheduling. The doctor’s time is important so is mine.

I really gotta say: From beginning to end, visiting Dr. Sugarman was about as perfect as a trip to the doctor can be. His offices were clean and easy to navigate, his staff was pleasant and helpful, the x-ray techs were great, his PA was kind and thorough, and Dr. Sugarman himself was warm, affable, and came across as extremely knowledgeable but without even a hint of condescension. Honestly, if you're looking for a knee doctor (which is what I saw him for), you can't really do any better: Visit without fear!
He's the best ortho doctor out there, and I am moving out of state and will only use a doctor he suggests in the future. That's how much I respect and trust him.
Dr. Sugarman was smart, efficient and caring! He had xrays done and my problem diagnosed with a treatment plan in no time! Also, I had to bring my toddler with me to my appointment and he and the staff were all very welcoming and sweet with her!

Office was easy to find and access via public transportation. Professional, clean, and modern. Staff was personable and quickly checked me in. Barely had time to sit before I was down in radiation getting X-rays. Each staff person seemed knowledgeable and polite. Dr. Sugarman was nice and never condescending (which is rare among specialists). He explained my x-rays and confirmed what I was thinking about my knees. Was conservative in treatment recommendations as opposed to rushing toward interventions. Gave me concrete things to look out for to know when to escalate my problem. If things worsen, I will definitely return to him.
Dr Sugarman was incredibly friendly and detailed during our first meeting. Would answer any possible question and I did not feel rushed like I have with other surgeons in NY.

Dr. Sugarman saw me soon after I got an xray. It was just a long wait time to get an xray as there is only one unit and 5 people were in front of me. He gave me a through examination and answered all questions I had. I highly recommend him.
I think he is an amazingly understanding doctor and he fully explained my situation to me with kindness and warmth but honestly is the most important thing. I trust him and am scared of surgery but would rather go into it knowing the facts than not.
Doctor Eton Sugarman is truly a Great Doctor. I did the research and I knew of his fantastic credentials. He was Friendly and very Kind to me. I came in worried about my knee fracture.. and left with a cool "Bionic-Woman" Brace and a feeling that everything would get back to Normal again. Now I have a Plan and I very very grateful that the healing has begun, and I look forward to my follow-up visit
Oh man! Dr. Sugarman was awesome Good handshake, friendly eye contact, you can tell he is a straight up dude. I am so glad I found him. I went to a previous dr. that I was not happy with...Dr. Sugarman listened and paid attention to my problem area. Which is my left knee and showed concern. I was losing hope because no one was listening to my problem.

After injuring my knee overtraining for the marathon, I went to visit Dr. Sugarman. Getting an appointment was super easy and the experience was terrific. Dr. Sugarman instantly knew what it was ailing my aching knee and was able to diagnose and recommend a course of action and treatment all without any unnecessary x-rays or MRIs. Great bedside manner too and appeared to be very knowledgable and experienced, particularly when it comes to sports injuries. Would highly recommend.

No hard feelings on the wait, I know how Doctor's offices can be. Especially when I had to visit radiology first. Dr. Sugarman was very straightforward with his diagnosis, explaining more than just what the issue likely was without an MRI to give us a better look, but also the reasons why I might be having these knee issues. I really hope the PT I was prescribed will help the issue. If any other work is neccesary to properly fix my knees, I'm sure Dr Sugarman would lead me in the right direction for treatment.

I really liked my visit with Dr Sugarman. He answered all my questions and right away got me a referral to a MRI that I needed. He was so patient and sympathetic to my pain. As tears rolled down my face for the pain I been suffering from my knee. I highly recommend Dr Sugarman. He and his staff, all amazing and nice. I definitely recommend this place. Got an Xray and was seen with < 10 mins wait.
The visit itself to see the doctor was great but the staff not so much. I prefill these forms online so that I don't have to take a long time in doing them at the doctors office but instead they gave me an excuse that they don't know how to transfer those said documents to their computers and don't know how to print them on their end. This is the second time I had to go through a situation like this and turns out that they can print these documents but choose not to get up from their lazy fat butts and walk 30 to 50 feet towards the printer to retrieve said documents. Unfreaking believable..!
