All Foot surgeries are cosmetically pleasing as the tiny incisions are carefully placed . Dr. Ferdinand Ruiz was born and raised in NYC and speaks fluent spanish . He earned his undergraduate Degree at Wagner College S.I. where he attained his Bachelor of Science Degree. Dr Ruiz completed his Podiatric medical degree in New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he also did a 2 year Surgical Residency in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Metropolitan Hospital and was chief resident his 2nd year .He also trained for 1 year at Coney Island Hospital for additional surgical training . Dr. Ruiz has been serving the New York community for over 15 years and is skilled in all facets of Podiatric foot and ankle deformities and treatment .Dr Ruiz is also currently Board Certified in "Minimally Invasive foot and ankle surgery". This is the "Only" Board Certification in Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery in NY state by American Board of Multispecialties in Podiatry. This special technique provides less healing time, minimal or no pain with almost no visible scars as the tiny incisions are professionally placed . Most of the Bunion , hammer toe and Neuroma surgeries can be done in the office setting with no hospital visits and convenience in scheduling . Dr Ruiz has a gentle relaxed attitude and always strives to make sure his patients get the best pain free results so they can continue their daily lives .
