The wait time is terrible, my appointment was 1:40 pm and wasn’t seen by 4:40 pm. They take their time with you but some of the questions they ask are unnecessary and should only be asked for a check up, notfor the issue you going for. This would save time. The nurse who helped me was very kind and helpful.

He's a great doctor, but I have never been there less than 3 hours. I don't know if he's just slow or I have the bad luck of having people in front of me with complicated procedures, but everybody is inthere with him for half an hour at least. Ridiculous.

I have seen Dr. Bobis three times. Every wait has been more than 90 minutes past the appointment time. He is very thoughtful and easy to talk to and genuinely helpful, but I will not be back. The first wait was95 minutes. The second wait was 2 hours. The third wait was over 3 hours. Worse, I scheduled a followup with him for a week later (which was his idea) to renew my adderall prescription and check out an ear infection and upon arriving the lady at the front desk told me he isn’t in the office today at all. I’m here now, in the waiting room, who knows for how long, to see a nurse so that she can tell him I was here so he can fill my prescription, but I won’t be able to get my ear checked and need to schedule another appointment. Why would I continue wasting hours of my time waiting in this seriously ugly waiting room if I can’t even expect to see the doctor I scheduled an appointment with?

The wait time at this office is terrible and kind of cruel to people. They need to learn a better way of scheduling so they not getting yelled at by patients loosing their patience. Otherwise once you’re in and seeing the Dr he’s great and very nice.

I scheduled an appointment for 9:30am with Dr. Bobis. I walked in, right on time, and sat down to wait. At 11am I left. If you think it is okay to wait for an hour and a half to have ageneral consultation, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would try to find somebody who might appreciate your business a little more. Everyone was polite and the office was fine, if a little bit on the homely side, but I felt disrespected by how little it seemed to matter that my entire morning was wasted sitting in a waiting room. I don't expect to get in at 9 30, but I do expect the wait to be less than an hour long when I make an appt, days in advance. No other business could survive this way.

Dr. Fernando was extremely thoughtful and easy to talk to. He strikes me as being very knowledgeable and genuinely concerned with my health. The wait was long, about 90 minutes, and I wasn’t expecting it, but in the future I willbe sure to make time for it since I suspect it’s due largely to his commitment to thoroughly evaluating his patients. In other words, well worth the wait. I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone you can trust to prioritize your health, both mental and physical. I felt genuinely cared for.

Horrible Experience. The doctor was kind and considerate, but that pales in comparison to the 2 and 1/2 HOURS I spent in the waiting room. The environment is a dirty large apartment, with a TV that's too loud and I nearlywalked in on another patient's appointment, because the secretaries left before arrangeing my return visit to hear blood work results. I would see the doctor again if he worked in a different office, but as it stands, I don't even want to hear my results if it means I have to go back.

This office has a very friendly staff, and even though busy, has a spacious waiting room that doesn't feel stuffy or sickening like so many other places. The 1.5 hour wait for my appointment was rapidly offset by the best annualcheckup I have ever had in my life, conducted by a stellar Nurse Practitioner of the office who was more thorough, enlightening, engaged, than any MD or NP I've ever come across, and made me feel completely comfortable and unjudged. Somewhere else, you can wait the same amount of time to have a fifteen minute once-over. I feel like this is the experience that people seek when they say "I'm going to the doctor for my annual." Thank you all!

I decided to see DR. Bobis based on his great reviews despite the wait time complaints. I thought maybe it was a little exaggerated but boy was I wrong! My first appt was at 10:30am and I wasn't seen until 1pm.My results follow up appt was also scheduled at 10:30am and I am yet to be seen ( it's currently 1pm) to get my results!!! I would have liked to make him my permanent doctor because he is a great doctor and very professional but the wait time is a deal breaker for me. Make sure you take the day off from work or any errands if you are going book him. This is with no exaggeration.

It was quite a wait....but worth it, to see a doctor like Dr. Bobis! He is lovely and really shows concern, plus, he seems to really know what he's talking about! His office staff is lovely as well, and Rosa, whodraws the blood and does EKG's, is a real gem! I will definitely keep seeing this doctor.

Pros: Okay. This doctor will be the most thorough doctor you have ever experienced in your life. He will sit with you for an hour going over everything and afterwards you will go through tests, if needed, just to make surehe has as close to a 100% depiction of your health. Never, ever, have I had such a pleasant experience in NYC with a doctor nor have I felt my health was in better hands. Cons: Wait time... Because he treats every patient so diligently. You will be there for hours. Not 1, not 2, maybe 3+ hours waiting. My appointment was at 10: 30 m and I was seen at 1: 30 pm. Bring the lord of the rings trilogy with you, because you might finish it before you're seen but hey, at least you'll be your healthiest self.

Dr. Bobis is the kind of doctor you dream of -- patient, kind, super smart, graduate of one of the finest medical schools, listens well and explains things perfectly. After just one visit I have decided that he will be myprimary care physician. The day I met him was a lucky day indeed.. As for the complaints of long waits,-- in New York City long waits are very common. Bring a book..

I have never felt more cared for, more listened to, and more respected by a doctor in my LIFE. I’m not sure what his intentions are for getting into medicine but I believe he has a passion for treating people, especiallythose who may not have access to high quality doctors in Washington Heights. Full disclosure: I waited 2.5 hours to see him. This is not someone you want to see in a time crunch. And to be honest, it’s unprofessional. I have two theories for why this happens: there is a doctor who works in the same practice that rushes patients and averages no more than 15-20 minutes per patient, no matter the issue. Dr. Bobis is newer to the practice and I believe he’s trying to make a statement by being extremely attentive to patients. When I was waiting, alongside 10 other women, the other doctor in the practice was available and had been for a few hours. No one in the waiting room wanted to see him because Dr. Bobis offers far superior care. My other theory: Dr. Bobis appointments are ONLY 15 minutes apart on ZocDoc. They should be spaced at least an hour apart but the receptionist team continues to schedule them too close together. Anyway, there are wonderful doctors in the world and this is definitely one of them. If you’ve been shuffled around by doctors who don’t care about your issues, he is one to see....if you are willing to wait 2-4 hours.

I wentto him when I was feeling really sick and I have to say after being treated by him; I feel much better these days If you need a doctor then stop looking and go to Dr. Bobis!!
