First visit was a great experience. Dr. was deliberate, thoughtful, non-rushed and an overall very effective communicator.

Honestly I was hesitant to write this review, but I had a lot of issues with the service. I was nervous to begin with as I'd never seen a professional, and I know that psychiatry is different from therapy, but firstI was seen 20 minutes late. As soon as we started I was told that we have to do this quickly because we are short on time, even though she was 20 minutes late. She was first reading all the forms that I filled regarding my issues and personality while she was on the call. I don't know if this is typical but it was similar to a doctor who comes in for a check up and takes notes and looks at your file while he's talking to you the whole time. I just felt psychiatry would be different and require more care. I felt like the questions about me were very scattered and made it hard to explain my issues because the convo kept jumping all over the place. Perhaps this was my fault. I didn't really get a detailed explanation of the medicine other than being told to take it in the morning and the briefest of details and was basically just told to go to the website and read all about the medications. I also didn't think the bedside manner was so great. Overall I'm really disappointed, I'll be seeing someone else and feel I wasted my money.

I really, really liked Dr. Farkas. She was kind, very knowledgeable, and listened to me. She's more conservative in her use of medications, which I appreciate. My follow up is on her office and she and to have great hours for those who have traditional work hours.

You should know Dr. Farkas meets with her patients over the computer, but I found this to be a more comfortable and private method for discussing mental health. She's sensitive and thoughtful, and talked through the potential side effects ofdifferent medicines. I'd never met with a psychiatrist before, but she made me feel right at ease.

She’s amazing! By far one of my favorite doctors! This was my first time seeking mental health help, and I was extremely nervous about opening about anything to anyone. She talked me through my problems, laid out the process and explainedto me how my medication would work. She’s very compassionate, extremely helpful, and just amazing!! Thank you Dr. Farkas!!
