Dr. Welch was great, very attentive and clear in his explanations. The PA and other medical professionals were also great and thorough in all of their tests, making me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend the practice for the medicalstaff. While my appointment was great, I didn't have a great experience booking it, the front desk called to cancel my original appointment with an hour's notice after booking it several days in advance, which is entirely unacceptable. The front desk staff was also rude when they called to confirm my second attempt at an appointment and wasn't helpful in answering questions during the check in process. I would recommend calling once booking your appointment on Zocdoc to confirm it, which kind of defeats the purpose of having the practice on Zocdoc in the first place, but the medical service is worth it.

One of the best specialists I have ever seen. Generally, only pediatricians and family practitioners are nice. Dr. Welch is an expert AND compassionate. He’s my cardiologist now.

This office is interested in one thing: $$$. The receptionist demanded an astronomical fee just to be seen by the doctor. Avoid this place.

Give yourself ample time for a comprehensive cardio screen - mine took nearly 2 hours (which they informed me of). The front desk staff was relatively helpful and friendly, and each of the assistants and PAs who took my vitals, etc.were informative and kind. My time with the doctor himself was longer than expected (15-20 minutes), and he was more than happy to tell me about my test results, the conditions he did/did not see, and give me some lifestyle advice based on results. A friendly doc, Highly recommend!

I was actually blown away by the friendliness of all of the staff over at Manhattan Radiology. They were incredibly nice, like over the top, and explained things that made it easy to understand. The most pleasant doctor's visit experience of my life.

I went to Dr. Welch for a second opinion, due to my rapid pulse concerns, as well as shortness of breathe. From start to finish, the staff was very attentive and, compared to the other cardiologist that I had been to,this office actually did a full on set of exams. The PA first looked at my blood work, and was very attentive as well. She followed up after the results, and subsequently, Dr. Welch also explained and was very reassuring. He listened, was patient, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Doc and staff are great - they seem professional and educated, which IS what counts. Front desk staff was rude - not welcoming and had bad phone etiquette. Also weird CC procedures that you must keep it on file and theycan charge as "applicable", but if you demand not to, they let you skip it for the first visit. I.e. I cannot go back!

I was frustrated by the medical team. I filled out the paperwork on ZocDoc prior to my arrival, but I was required to fill out all of the information again once I arrived, and then I was asked to provide theinformation for a THIRD time in the exam room. One of the technicians left other patients' information open in plain view on the computer while I was alone in the exam room, which made me wonder if other patients could also see my information. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who seemed to gloss over my issues until I literally pointed out anomalies to her on the EKG. When I finally met with the doctor (for a grand total of maybe 5 minutes), he was friendly and helpful, but I was already quite frustrated by the experience.

The Medical assistant team was excellent. They performed an EKG and Echo on me when I got there. They gave me a lot of information and made me feel at ease. Dr. Welch was very kind and listened to my issues. He was a little distracted. It seemed as if he was dealing with his own situation but also gave me a lot of information and was very knowledgeable. Overall the meeting with Dr. Welch was great I would definitely book another appointment with him

Dr. Welch makes time to help his patients understand how their bodies/hearts are working. I love all things medical, I read the medical journals and I always have questions. He answers all of my questions and addresses all of my concernsevery time. He respects that I know things about myself and he has always worked with me as a partner. I like to use herbal remedies wherever possible and he has always been willing to work with me while making me very aware of western alternatives. He is honest, kind and respectful. He explains everything and gives me the information I need to make choices which have enhanced my health and well-being. A++ (and I almost never say this about doctors)
