Dr. Bahtiyar is my kind of doctor. She is quick and to the point. If you need a test you get a test, no wishy washy stuff, no waits. She also isn't quick to throw a bottle of pills at you. I appreciate that.

Came in concerned, she said let’s go ahead and do a blood test. I asked how significant those tests would be given I haven’t been eating foods that I thought might affect them (sugar/carbs, gluten) she kind of dismissed it, asif it wouldn’t be a problem. Got the results and tests were either cancelled due to improper blood specimen (not frozen) or useless because they’d require recent gluten or sugar intake like I guessed. Also rushed the appointment. All the nurses are nice.

Loved the doctor actually named Eric. Then I had to wait the better part of an hour to get my blood taken. Also phlebotomist has slightly inappropriate religious conversation with me. Finally the front desk was nice but it seemed abit shady that they were so pushy about the specific delivery pharmacy service.

The actual doctor is great. Just note that Zocdoc will automatically book you with an internist first, so you are better off calling to meet with the endocrinologist directly. Also, there are long wait times, but they do offer evening and weekend hours.

Dr. Bahtiyar was fantastic. Though it took a while to get in to see her, she was worth the wait. She was informative and engaged, willing to explain everything in as much detail as necessary. She also was ready to listento all my comments and questions. All in all, she was great and the only reason I wouldn't recommend her would be so that I'd have to compete with fewer people for appointments

This review is about the initial evaluation consult. Most endocrinologists will see you the first time only to send you on your merry way to get all the tests needed to develop a plan to treat any thyroid conditions. I waspleasantly surprised to see that this office makes sure you don't waste time by doing all the testing on the first visit. A team of physicians take the time to evaluate you and with that info, they can proceed with the appropriate testing (blood work, ekg, etc) so that on your next visit the doctor can create a comprehensive plan based on the results. I loved the attention and service and can't wait to go back and see the doctor for my actual diagnosis and plan.
