Dr. Haig Panossian, MD

Dr. Panossian is a board-certified otolaryngologist with expertise in voice and swallowing disorders as well as ear, nose, and throat issues in both adults and children. Dr. Panossian was educated at Boston University, graduating with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences. He completed his medical education at Boston University School of Medicine. During his graduate studies, he performed research at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He then moved to New York City to complete his Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he received the Resident Teacher of the Year award from his peers as Chief Resident. During residency, he found that he had a particular interest in disorders of the voice, airway, and swallowing. He was selected to complete a prestigious year-long fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice under Dr. Robert T. Sataloff in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Panossian has performed research that has been presented at several national and international meetings.
