Patient reviews for Dr. Harvey Rosenblum
A rare find - an old school doctor that cares about his patients. Thorough, sincere and clear in his explanations. Go to this doc!
Very friendly staff. Short wait while I filled out new patient paperwork. Dr. Chan was pleasant & Dr. Rosenblum spoke to me like a person, not just a patient. I've been looking for an eyecare center to visit rebuilding. Conveniently located near the B34 & the L train, I think this is it.
The visit went great. The doctor is very professional and thorough. Additionally, he is a great listener. Great bedside manners!
Kind. Friendly. Professional.
Dr. Rosenblum was kind and helpful but the wait was awful and took over 2 hours before I was seen. Overall office just seemed unorganized and when I asked the aid if the wait is always so long she laughed and said a long wait time was the norm there. If you do not want to wait I would suggest going elsewhere.
The receptionists were extremely rude. I won't be going back. I felt completely rushed throughout the entire process. I had to ask questions several times to get the information I needed. After the eye exam, my pupils were dilated from the eye dilating drops and the receptionists were extremely insensitive about my condition. They asked me to read things even though my vision was inhibited, and they responded to my questions rudely. I will never go back to this office.
Everything about the appointment was great - all staff I interacted with (front desk, technicians/assistants, and doctor) were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable; however, you may be there for awhile. My whole visit lasted about 2 hours, and though I was expecting some wait time between initial treatment and seeing the doctor, I did not think it would take this long.
NA
I thought he was very thorough and I truly appreciated his bedside manner.I would recommend him
Knowledgable and great staff. Happy I chose this doctor with my eyes. Trustable doctor.
Dr Rosenblum and Dr Chang we’re both fantastic!
Amazing staff, very thorough
Dr. Rosenblum and Dr. Chan were both very nice, and their exams were very thorough.
Everyone was attentive and informative. It was a great experience.
The professionalism of his staff.
Very professional and friendly. The only problem was the long wait time, but the treatment I received made it worth the wait at the end.
Overall good experience but suggested too harsh of a treatment when the condition wasn't very serious or prolonged
Very thorough, very organized and timely, great communication
Great visit .. Everyone was super friendly, short wait time .. I Had a very thorough examination and he was able to put all my worries at ease
Excellent Doctor
Scheduled an appointment wit Dr. Rosenblum on MLK Day and he was very thorough in his examination on my eye condition. Would highly recommend seeing the doctor for any eye issues.
Good doctors, but a VERY LONG wait.
Very reassuring and easy to talk to. I came in with a small growth on my eye. Dr. Rosenblum saw me fairly quickly, looked it over, then scheduled a surgery in two weeks time to remove it. Very efficient.
I only saw Dr. Rosenblum for 3 seconds when he literally just introduced himself. I saw a DO the rest of the time. The whole visit took 2.5 hours between waiting around for various people to get their act together. There was also confusion about which insurance they took, and it seems that they don't actually accept what zocdoc says they do.
Waited 45 minutes for the tech and another 45 minutes for the doctor. Be careful of extra charge for refraction exam - this is standard with most insurance plans and should not be paid for out of pocket. Overall, I wouldn’t go back here. Tech was nice but doctor seemed inattentive to patients. Wait time was unacceptably long.
Very kind man and very thorough. Will definitely recommend. He removed a cyst on my eye lid that only took moments....kudos to his team as well
Dr Rosenblum is very nice and knowledgeable, and the stuff is very helpful.
I am extremely happy with Rosenblum vision. It is a busy office but wait times aren’t as bad as other reviewers experienced, I waited less than a half hour. Great location, great front staff and awesome doctors. What else do you need?
Dr. Rosenblum is wonderful and his staff is amazing!
With a family history of eye disease and moving around a lot, I've seen a lot of ophthalmologists and understand there's a variety of knowledge about less common eye diseases. Dr. Rosenblum showed he has significant experience with all variety of eye problems and is up to date on the most recent research around treatment and detection. I appreciated that Dr. Rosenblum explained to me what and how the tests were and spent time to explain my results to me. He was also very honest about the deficiencies of some of the testing methods.
no complaint
The doctor and all staff in the office were delightful: professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will encourage others to visit.
DO NOT GO HERE. I was there for two and a half hours for an annual eye exam, and it was only 15 minutes of actual examination time. Literally everyone in the waiting room was complaining that this happens every time. The office clearly overbooks appointments and doesn’t care about making patients wait for an egregious amount of time.
Good doctor, but the office is a zoo. Expect to wait a while. Not sure if I’d go back.
Amazing staff at front desk. Dr. Rosenblum is so caring, took his time to do a very thorough check. I highly recomend him.
He was good. I liked that I was able to get laser in my eye.
Staff was courteous and super-helpful! Great experience!
Great the explanation was detailed but the wait time was horrible
The staff and the doctor were actually great but the hour and a half wait time is unsustainable.
Love the staff, wait can be a little long.
The doctor and the office staff were great, however the wait time was pretty crazy, over an hour from the initial time of the appointment. Not sure if I’ll be back.
Very nice and efficient. His prescription worked.
Very professional and friendly.
Fantastic staff! Beautiful office. Fast service. I actually had fun!
I used to like this office. Today it was chaotic, loud, disorganized and my Dr. seemed incompetent. I will have to go get my eyes checked somewhere else. The whole thing just made me extremely uncomfortable.
Knowledgeable doctor, amazing bedside manner. I would highly recommend him as he made me feel comfortable and explained exactly what my condition was.
It was horrible waited an hour only to not be seen by the doctor. First they scheduled it for the wrong office then when finally being seen told my insurance health first is only good for a medical examine that does not include a prescription exam or eyeglass prescription for that i would have to use my vision insurancd davis which they do not accept. I shouldve known better they had horrible reviews on google
Dr. Rosenblum and Dr. Chan were very personable and attentive. However, they only prescribed medicated drops for my eye problem, when I insisted it that it seemed to be part of a larger infection that was beginning to move through my body. Two days later I was back in their office as the infection had spread to my other eye and was making its way through my sinuses. The doctor who saw me was not able to prescribe an oral antibiotic and suggested that I go to my primary care physician or urgent care. This should have been told to me over the phone when I requested this 2nd emergency appointment. It would have saved me an inconvenient trip to Dr. Rosenblum's office. In Dr. Rosenblum's favor I was able to get this 2nd appointment as a result of being there two days earlier with worsening condition. The front office staff was very thorough. A young woman of color was most especially helpful on both occasions with attention to detail, streamlining the ordering of my eye drop medication to my pharmacy, as well as going about her work with a most pleasant smile and joy. On the 2nd visit she was also very helpful in securing an urgent care physician in the nearby vicinity. A lovely, efficient, knowledgeable person who is a large asset to this practice.
Very old medical equipment, half of which appears broken. The wait time was more then an hour. Doctor is running between patients, so I was afraid that he could mix up the results or treatments. No, I will avoid this doctor as there more caring doctors and more advanced technology they use then in his office.
Dr. Rosenblum and his staff were all very friendly and capable. They helped with my insurance matters, performed a thorough exam, and answered all of my questions. I'd highly recommend them.
