Unprofessional, awful attitude, disregarded the tests/medical records I brought, and treated me as if I was an uninformed hypochondriac. Also asked me if I know the difference between her and an internist. I come from a medical background. She refused to hear about a recent succession of relevant injuries/problems saying she only wants to know what's in pain now.
The appointment and treatment was of an appropriate length so that nothing felt rushed and nothing seemed to be passed over. Dr Kern was very friendly and listened considerately to my somewhat poor attempt to give her a complete history of my issue. A physical was also done (which I wasn't expecting) but was welcome in order to show what I needed to do to help myself.
Dr. Kern is very nice and knowledgable. Strongly recommend.
Concise and comforting. I'm feeling positive!
Dr. Kern was very kind and listened to my concerns. She was quick to come up with a plan, and I look forward to seeing up at my follow-up appointment!
Very professional Thorough Knowledgeable Relaxed Friendly Great :-)
Dr. Kern had a nice bedside manner, but her staff was really negligent. They were supposed to follow up to schedule physical therapy appointments and another checkup, and never called. They also lost all my payment information. Very unprofessional and difficult to deal with.
She was pleasant and knowledgeable regarding my issue. We put a plan together immediately and set it into motion.
Dr. Kern was very personable and had a great bedside manner. She took the time to listen to my concerns and offered great recommendations. Quick and easy appointment!
I had to wait for Dr.Kern from 12:25pm-4:00pm.Today it was a rainy day there was a big traffic in Manhattan & I called the Clinic twice to inform Dr.Kern via her secretary/receptionist re. above. And twice I was reassured that Dr.Kern will see me. I came @12:25pm, my appointment was scheduled for ,12:00pm. But I had to wait for Dr.Kern for 3 hours & 35 minutes. Although I had 35 minutes from my appointment which was scheduled for an hour at zocdoc.com. Appointment time was @12:00pm-1pm. I was very exhausted & I was striving, finally I decided to leave.. I informed re.my decision the receptionists. After that Dr.Kern came & stated that she is making herself available, " although it's not how I usually operate." I informed her re.above. Dr.Kern denied any information she had received from sercetaries. But the receptionists stated that Dr.Kern was informed about my tel.calls & Dr.Kern didn't mind that I'll be late for my appointment due to the heavy rain. Moreover during my appt w. her, she was very arrogant & she behaved herself the way that she is doing to me a great favor . .. My initial appointment with her lasted only 25 minutes.I have only one question, "Couldn't Dr.Kern to see me for these 25 minutes from 12:25-12:50?" The answer is "Yes, she could". But she did not want to, because she used her time for paper work, as the secretary informed me. I worked as a psychotherapist at the outpatient psychiatry & I never made my patients to wait for me more than 10 minutes even if they were late. That was hospital's policy. And the slogan of the most medical professionals is " Patient Comes First" Unfortunately for Dr.Kern such slogan is unacceptable. To telk the truth, usually I provide positive feedbaks about my doctors. But today it was a horrible experience .
Dr. Kern was very thorough. She took the time to go through my full history and took my pain seriously. I never felt rushed and she answered all of my questions.
Very nice & addressed my concerns in a straightforward manner.
