Patient reviews for Dr. Jack Abrams
Dr Adams was thorough, Professional and very pleasant
It was my first visit but everything pointed to a good choice. I will be going back for a follow up visit .
Very reassured I'm on the right track with this appointment . Thorough evaluation. Wish Dr Abrams was in Tucson.
Very professional, no pressure at all, they explained my options, an because they give me options, l had to think about it. He just said think about it it is an important decision, when you decide please give our a call back an thank you. It was nice.
Don't change a thing.
I found Dr. Abrams to be honest, thoughtful, and competent. He took the time to listen to my concerns.
The staff are professional and friendly but auiet busy. Lots of patients being seen today. Several minutes wait in between tests and consultation. Dr. Abrams is very professional and sounds very competent and confident. He encouraged questions and answered all my inquiries and concerns adequately. My only constructive suggestion will probably be for their office to improve lighting in some areas and some fresh interior decorating in their office. I don't know if I just have sensitive sense of smell - but some of the offices are dark (maybe that's on purpose for patients with glare issues) and have that old musty cockroaches smell which I find a bit distracting since this is a medical office. You kinda expect things to be sterile. Nothing fresh paint and some air fresheners can't solve.
Dr. Abrams was very kind to my husband and explained everything to us. He also scheduled a follow up visit. We know we are in good hands.
Great office and the wait times were minimal.
Usually appointments are about 24-45 minutes of a wait, especially for a busy and known doctor, but the wait took only about 10 minutes and I was seen right away. Amazing doctor and I would recommend him to anyone!
Impressed that I was seen on time. Properly run office, everyone was professional and prompt.
Great ophthalmologist made me feel comfortable, easy to understand, everything Dr. Abrams explained to me, but I think staff needs to get some serious training when it comes to explain side effects for the medication they are applying. I got my eyes dilated, but the lady did not let me know what were the side effects, I couldn't drive, I had to pull over on the middle of the freeway, to returned to the office, then asked them for some temporary sunglasses. that kind of misinformation could lead into an accident, especially when driving
Very friendly staff upon arrival, and throughout my appointment! Highly recommend!
I was really happy due to my scratchy eye, I was able to get an appointment right. Dr. Abrams was very efficient .
Charge too much for too little
Wait more than 30 minutes
Very professional manner, concerned, Dr. Abrams took the time listen to my questions.
Professional : knowledgable
I love the patient portal with all of the information which is the same as what the doctor sees. A great experience, would definitely recommend this doctor.
It was good. He is a very gentle and kind doctor.
Not knowing what to expect....just a suggestion .....They should advise of expectations ....ie advise patients if they will have eyes dilated and or if they need a driver and also bring a pair of sunglasses or you will have to use their disposable version of them and due to dilation you will not be able to read for several hours as it's blurry
He's excellent and very kind and paitient
I have been using Dr. Abrams for over 4 years. He is very professional. Extremely caring. A++++++++++++++ for he and his staff.
It went very well.
He was nice.
Dr.Abrams and staff made me feel comfortable with hardly any wait time.
Very pleased with the doctor and all of his team members. Best service I have ever gotten at the eye doctors and have been to several over the 45 years I have lived here
One of the nicest doctors IV seen in a long time. Very personable.
Dr Abrams and Staff were awesome. They made me feel like the most important person in the building.
Dr. Abrams has a very busy practice, however when its your turn he does take the time to thoroughly go over your needs. I recommend him as an opthamologist.
1st visit was at the Eastern office and went well. I was seen quick and then staff was friendly. The second visit was at Medical Center Drive and I waited for over an hour to be seen. The appointment was over in 5 minutes. I required surgery and it was at Valley View Surgery Center. That place was a dump and I had to wait over an hour in a waiting room of about 50 people, after my appointment time was changed 3 times. I'm amazed I didn't get an infection after being in that place. Seemed more like a factory than a surgical facility.
You feel very welcomed when you come thru the door, the staff and DR.ABHAMS excellent when it comes to cutomer for patients.
Very clean, comfortable, high tech facility. Pleasent staff. Dr. Abrams was very nice and even made sure to ask if I jad questions before dismissing me. Most Dr.'s don't do that. They shuffle you out as quick as possible. This was a good experience.
Abrams' office was clean and artfully designed, friendly assistants were quick to complete their tasks, and the doctor listened patiently before delivering his diagnosis in a polite and respectful manner.
I like the system. from the start of the exam and at the end the doctor will review all the input results of the assistant. Last but not least the doctor's recommendations. Feel at ease and peace.
Very professional and caring.
No don't go there! He is great and front staff as well! His nurse... Horrible!
He took very good care of me got me the best antibiotics, and I would send my family to him.
The staff was amazing and super friendly! I didn't even have time to finish filling the paperwork out before I was being called! It was amazing! Dr. Abrams was very friendly and concerned. Just an overall amazing experience and I will definitely continue to see them!
a;; very professional visit
For some reason they had 2 appointments on the calendar for me for this month--today's and February 24. I may have initially scheduled the 24th on ZocDoc and then canceled it. I had them take this appointment off the calendar since I don't need to go back for another year.
Dr. Abrams is very professional and to the point. Explained my problems and the treatment it will talk. Have a follow-up appointment next month.
Excellent do tor
Dr. Abrams and his entire staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the facility is beautiful.
Dr. Abrams is very patient and thorough. They had a ton of other patients, but I still felt like he took his time with me.
